No, Rob, at first, was framing it to say that Kakashi legitimately got something wrong, because of whatever hate boner he has for the character. Pat, in the right, notes that Kakashi didn't get it wrong because it was simply a taunt to get the class to unite, which they did. It is *only* then that Rob changes his tune to; "Yeah, exaggeration, like I said." Dude yelled his way out of being called out for being wrong.

War arc Kakashi was close to being as strong as both of those 2, and he's said to be massively more powerful than he was during the 4th great ninja war in the "Kakashi retsuden" novel. Showing that he has literal mastery of all 5 chakra natures and huge chakra reserves to back it up. He is basically what Hiruzen was during his prime, even better in some areas

Ik it's funny to dunk on Shino but it was kinda irritating watching these guys say "Shino's trash! Mitsuki beat him!" Shino is trash - for sure. But he ain't as hopeless as these guys were making him out to be. It was made so abundantly clear that Shino was holding back against Sage Mode Mitsuki. I mean Shino literally said "I can't kill one of my own students, can I". He's also not gonna get back up and continue his fight with Mitsuki if Mitsuki's already smashed the target on his body so Shino wasn't knocked out of commission.

I don't think it was full sage though. Full Sage Speedblitzed Orochimaru. He would've been able to quick tap that target and not have a fight at all. Without the terms of the battle though, Shino probably would win because he wouldn't fight in the open in the first place. Shino is a tactical fighter, it's best for him to attack from the shadows, lurk, weaken his foe bit by bit, and finish them off. Basically his entire moveset is nothing but ways to get around conventional protection, so Shino is actually supposed to be scary as fuck to deal with. It's just the fact that Boruto as a show needs their protags to win and live, so they nerf the piss out of him.

Kakashi is still relative to what he was when he had his Sharingan. He‘s created a replacement of the Lightning Blade and has adapted his fighting style to suit his Sharingan-less self. Naruto just lost Kurama and Sasuke damaged his Rinnegan, doesn’t mean they still wouldn’t fuck up any non-Ōotsutsuki in their verse.

I mean, but hey, many of those kids came back to him later after passing saying that he taught them a much needed lesson, it's only mentioned once, but it's still mentioned. Kakashi was harsh because they lived in a world of war. Anyone who couldn't work with their team would only put everyone else in danger. It's something they're supposed to be taught before becoming Genin, but it seems they all forget it as soon as they first become one.

the things with Boruto's character is that he's SUPOSSED to be a little confident kid that haved all in his life and never needed to training. He's the opposite of Naruto bcs instead of him, Boruto haved all since birth. his development starts from there. He's a character who's supposed to be hated by the spectator, but at the same time the spectator need to undertand Boruto's position of a kid that have all and doesn't know what people like Kakashi or his own dad haved to pass. To Kakashi the biggest pain was lost his friend and kill by himself the other person precious to him, to Boruto the biggest pain at this point is not having the attetion from his dad, but it is the way it is bcs in the future Boruto apparently will feel that pain others character like Kakashi suffered, and mature and understand by that pain.

Fun fact about the purple lightning after Kakashi lost the Sharingan he had to come up with a better way to use lightning blade since he lost the eye and without the Sharingan he can't hit the target since the lighting relies on speed and accuracy so he trained alot till he figured out the true potential of the lightning blade which became the purple lightning and another thing the purple lightning is even stronger than the lighting blade so he can use the max speed with the accuracy and full power of it depending on how much power he puts into it
