I have a Metabo KS 18 LTX 57 and it's awesome it has guide channels that fit on Bosch, Festool, Makita and Mafell. I sympathise how frustrating it is not having the flexibility of being able to use your work horse saws on tracks. Great video love the channel
@@viking.designs honestly like you I've been a Makita guy for the past 7 years and decided to switch. And after looking around for high capacity battery options I chose a few Metabo tools. Hand on my heart they've all shocked me at how powerful yet comfortable they are well worth an investment.
Regarding track compatible cordless circular saws. Metabo, Festool, Makita, Dewalt and Bosch have them. Makita also have track guide attachements for cirkular saw. Hikoki also have some attachments. For info. Great review for the use of the saw👍
Nice video with so much info. 👍👍👍 Can't wait to get my hand on the track capable biturbo saw from Bosch - Bosch in the last days opened there battery platform to some other companies ... And I think that a clever move by bosch
I have the gc version the track compatibility and depth adjustment is awesome, cant say i have used the speed adjustment much but having the battery indicator there is handy only thing is the base plate is even bigger on my version and it limits what you can rip down, you cant rip a 90x35 in half for example. The base plate sits out so far on the blade side and the bosch guide stops when it hits the edge of it. I have a dewalt guide that isnt as sturdy but loops around under the base plate which eliminates the problem. Love the saw but its just a bit big and needs a rafter hook. Nice review 👍🏻
