Love the feature to plunge the blade, it also works with the Ozito track which is super cheap to buy for occasional use cases. Multiple speed is also great.

Yeah Ozito uses the makita/Festool track design. Good point. Very cheap way to get your hands on one. 👌

Hey Brother, you said you wouldn't cut rafters with or be on a roof with this saw, what other Bosch saw would you recommend given the issues with the first one? Or just get both lol

Both of those saws are 184mm which is too big for roof work imo. They have a really nice looking 165mm saw. It’s the GKS 18V-57-2 I’ve never used it but it looks perfect, plus it has a rafter hook too. 👌

yeah, 165mm saws with rafter hooks are really the go for any sort of roofing work@@viking.designs
