‘May the wind always be at your back and the sun upon your face. And may the wings of destiny carry you aloft to dance with the stars.’ RIP Boston George
Listening to him talk after having watched the movie he is exactly as I thought he would be. Love that he has no regrets and is comfortable with his life. Depp for sure portrayed him so well, no surprise Johhny can act!
I get it. I felt the same when I found out the main member that put together black flag (80s DC punk band) died. And I still live in DC, wanted to at least meet him, then found out he died. Shortly after I found out he was still in DC.
It was a great thing Carlos betrayed him, If they were still considered business partners George would've still been in prison.. Carlos violated everything about America including criticizing politicians..you could sell drugs all you want in America and get the minimum 30yrs, but disrespecting American politicians will easily earn you 2 life terms
That's what the media is like now. lots of Squealing and sucking up and soft ball low intelligence questions. Her over the top overreactions to his answers is 4th grade.
So weird seeing him as an old man lol he just seems like any other grandpa but this dude here has been places and done things most of us can only dream of. What a class a gentleman
Feel sorry for this guy, he made the mistakes we would all make with his oppertunities and temptations but, the thing the movie got so right was his heartbreak at missing his kid
That was truly heartbreaking. Can understand that that would rip him up. Johnny Depp loves being a father; was so easy to see his pain as George in hurting his child.
Biggest mistake he made was not wiping his smelly crispy ring. He would pick it so they could smell it under his fingernails. Big giveaway for the feds
Can’t believe the daughter never reconciled with him. Breaks my heart. Wasn’t a bad person wasn’t out there murdering or raping. Was running a business selling stuff hat happens to be illegal to the eyes of the government. Yes made poor decisions but he grew up in a disfunctional family thinking money was the secret to a healthy family and the glue to a working marriage. I think he was doing it for his family too. So sad the daughter didn’t give him a chance even as an adult
Its funny to me how people defend this guy. He had an interesting story but he wasnt just smuggling drugs. He was empowering escobar and all the murderers and monsters of the cartels. all that happened to him was due to his own poor choices. trafficking cocaine for the most brutal and ruthless drug ring in the world that is packed with murderers that killed plenty of innocent people and helping to fund their operation isnt just selling a bit of drugs. I find it interesting how people always try to use the excuse of “oh there is demand so he just supplied” while conveniently ignoring the network and consequences his actions had. to blame the daughter is absurd. and of course, its not smart to blindly believe a hollywood movie that romanticized his life. he knew the risks and took them. its sad but everything that happened to him was a consequence of his own actions.
I'm sure other actors do this, but we all know for a fact, that John Travolta and Johnny Depp are two that not only study and practice, but spend time with the people and family and friends of those who they are portraying, and I must say, two of the best when it comes to perfecting the person they are playing. Love both those guys. My dream while I am still walking and not in a wheelchair from my severe degenerative disc disease and many other problems that go with it, would be to meet them, even if they only had five minutes to talk, no offense Mr. Travolta, but especially Johnny Depp, he seems to be a real down to earth guy, look how he goes to hospitals in his Jack Sparrow outfit. You can not only see, but feel the emotion coming from those sick kids he visits,as well as his emotions and trying to fight to hold back any sadness he is feeling.
Reflecting back on the movie , Holy shit Johnny Depp got the voice perfected with the hint of a Boston accent in a slow , slur like voice patten . Close your eyes and just listen to the interview, you'll see Johnny Depp in your head lol
Forever an american legend love you Boston george and thank you I cant get into details why I'm thanking him but he took me and my family out of poverty in the 80s.
The fact he got to spend the last 7-8 years a free man and to pass away at home in hometown where he was born probably brought him some peace but obviously he'd of probably wanted the 20 years back that he didn't get with his family but he made the decision he's made and he faced the consequences for them
Alot of people don't know just the basics. She's basic..anyone who listens to talk radio are basic people. You start talking about the nuts & bolts of a thing , they tune you out.
“I feel pretty god damn good about it” such a positive attitude that ppl need to have these days. This man had great positive energy all around and I bet he’s a great human being too. RIP Mr. Jung!
I can relate to how he feels about his daughter it's a shame that her mother has probably poisoned her mind to the point where there's no coming back that's something you will take to your grave because there is nothing like a bond between a father and his daughter and I can tell you this from experience with my own life !!!
Whoa!!.. BOSTON GEORGE!!!... GOOD TO SEE HIM OUT HERE SHARING HIS STORY...HE HAS BEEN THROUGH IT ALL.. AND I AM ALL EARS!!!.. RESPECT TO YOU MR.JUNG..IF YOU HAPPEN TO SEE THIS..IF DEPP WAS EVEN A 10TH OF THE PLAYER YOU WERE.. HE'D BE LUCKY!!..
@@denisshillingford5891 I don't think it's a race thing man. I was listening only audio -- didn't even know what race or background she is. It's a just a certain degree of feigned excitation that is irritating here, I think. People can sense when an interviewer throws out fake laughs or speaks like an automaton during an interview. I think she just needs to relax a bit and not force laughter. Easy improvements. I think this would be OK for a research interview, but for broadcast, it came off as clunky
R.I.P George Fung 💙🕊💙🕊 A.K.A. El Americano 🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽🤝🏽💯💯💯 "May the wind always be at your back and the sun upon your face. And may the wings of destiny carry you aloft to dance with the stars".
Sad his daughter still hasn’t forgiven him. He seems like he’s changed. Hopefully she will reach out and make amends before he passes away! This life is to short to hold grudges
“I had the greatest advertising forms in the world the record industry and the movie industry promoting my product”. Says the same thing in the movie, “all the actors and musicians are using it” The media is a powerful tool
N M she's trying to replicate Marilyn Monroe (Pamela Anderson and Anna Nicole tried the same, one better than the other) but this woman is straight up offensive if that's the case. Lol.
