I bought one of these & donated it to a family in need. Their current boat was 24' and from 1989. I invited them on board for a day trip (they thought I bought it for myself) but after we were out in the bay drifting around - I told them it was there's. Tears of happiness!
My 2017 315 conquest that I bought brand new: helm seat bolster snapped off this year and I am 170 lbs. it’s cheap plastic underneath. Also the vacu-flush, generator, anchor light, grill, raw water pump, fusion stereo, and spreader lights have all failed. The hull and engines are amazing and I love my whaler. All the extras are very poor quality and I feel ripped off.
Hah! Will is a great guy. Met him many times at the NY boat show. Wow, what a boat! We will be out in the Hamptons, Tony just to see this magnificent vessel, but sure we can't afford her . Time for a change though, so maybe will be trading in our 2008 for a 325 or used 315.
Do you know if they have any plans to make a 420 Conquest? Because honestly, the supports on the gunwales of the 420 Outrage kill the entire purpose of having a "walk around" fishing boat and I don't need a walk around anyway. Since, the purpose is to be able to fight a fish around the boat, but with the supports in the way, that's not possible without an awkward hand to hand transfer. I understand why the supports might need to be there with a fly Bridge, but why are they there without one? At that point, it'd be better without the walk around and just getting more cabin space, like the Conquest styling. Or make the logical choice and remove the supports, so you could actually enter the "walk around, center console fishing boat" market. Instead of the "ALMOST walk around, center console fishing boat" market.😂
Why three galleys,,, makes no sense at all,,, make one galley in the main area of the pilot house,,, that would free up so many other areas of space particularly down below,,, one could almost add a whole separate state room,,,this boat does not need three separate galleys!!! it’s not only unnecessary,,,, it’s extremely un handy and impractical!!! Three separate sets of everything a kitchen needs!!!
John Deere and Caterpillar with their respective wireless diagnostic systems in order to connect such complexity to Corporate HQ makes these items a no go as a purchase to me at any price. I think it just a matter of time before this appears but until then and especially at the current price points for the entire line-up simply not worth even considering at any price let alone the current outrageously over-priced models. Hopefully by 2022 this will change but until then only Yamaha remains best in class for retail boating going on 20 straight Years now with World Cat ready to push back hard against what is admittedly an extraordinary amount of attention to detail for the best mono-hull in the Industry. Not that this will impede sales of course. Long Garmin Electronics Strong buy
