I did the princess lift thing with a girlfriend I was really in love with once, I just picked her up and she got a little flustered saying " I am a big girl, yes?" ( She is Russian and her English was a little broken but very cute). I hushed her saying she was the perfect size and I was strong enough to carry her for the rest of her life then kissed her. It was probably one of my most treasured romantic moments.

It really depends on the person's size imo. Some people are small enough that you can carry them like a princess but for others it will be impossible.

Piggy back: very close without embarrassment The smell of your/their hair is close They might feel your boobs on their back It’s more comfortable for the carrying person (and that is a positive thing that will be connected to you) If they fall, you can protect yourself and them more easily! Princess lift: Awkward perspective on your face Where to put your arms If for prolonged amount of time: where to look?!? Weirdly close faces Uncomfortable for carrier, so they’ll have to put you down soon Is your head on their stronger arm? Or do you risk having your head bouncing off the floor in a few seconds? I don’t like being carried around in general but of those options my choice is pretty obvious I think ^^

Dang old forgotten memory but my middle school girlfriend's aunt flow was in town and we were walking home from school (lived locally), and half way to her place I started piggy-back carrying her. Personally I prefer that over princess carry; being hugged around the neck and leaned on feels nice (don't misunderstand lol). Gonna have to come up with a phrase better than piggy-back to make it competitive with princess-carry.

I’ve been princess lifted 5 times before by the same boy... But it was because it was a part of the dance routine, haha. Yes, my heart fluttered, this boy who I had known for six years having grown taller than me and able to pick me up...also already had a girlfriend 😂. I guess I just lost my chance lol. I’ve never been on the back of a boy but I think I’d actually prefer it. I totally agree with that girl, I totally see the appeal of broad shoulders!

You gotta just have people sit on your shoulders. Then you can put on a giant trench coat and sneak into R-rated movies.

Oh I forgot that in America, the Princess Lift, is actually something Firefighters do to do the save people from Burning Buildings, is it not the same in Japan?

To be honest, a piggyback is WAY easier to do than a princess lift. Just saying

The princess lift and the piggyback both use arm muscles. With the princess lift, the weight of the person is reasonably dispersed along the length of the forearms, but the carrier has to hold the person at around the height of the carrier's heart, which makes it difficult to hold the person for a long period of time. The piggyback, on the other hand, requires the arms to be held at around waist level, which makes it easier on the carrier's heart, but the weight of the person's legs basically sits on one point on each arm (which can make blood circulation a bit difficult, depending on how the legs sit on the person's arms). The carrier could put his (or her) hands on the underside of the person's legs, which might be more comfortable for the carrier (natural carrying position; more surface area for weight to be distributed) but not so comfortable for the person being carried (hands on a girl's legs, possibility of being touched inappropriately). Of course, if the carrier is wearing a jacket, or something to cushion the arms with the weight of the person's body on them, it might be easier to adjust the arm position if or when it becomes uncomfortable. And leaning the person forward... the carrier would have to lean pretty far forward for enough of the passenger's body weight to be over the center of gravity, otherwise most of the passenger's body weight is on the carrier's arms.

I've always loved piggyback rides because I liked resting my head on their head. If I was to get princess lifted, I'd be awkward because when you look straight ahead, it's the side of their face. Haha. Plus, the eye contact would probably give me butterflies no matter what!

I prefer the Conan the Barbarian; "Over the shoulder lift" myself but truly don't do that unless you know the girl and you're joking around and you can make sure no one gets hurt lol

Recently you've been giving the people only two choices. The problem is, these choices are not very interesting or relevant. You should go back to general questions where the people have more freedom to share their own ideas.

Wait how do you call the one-armed lift then? You know one around my neck and she sits on the flat of my arm. I have done it all the princess lift can be the hardest on the arms depending on what the girls are doing. The back ride and a ride on the shoulders are the easiest once.

Due to a bit harsh labor in my life my arms are stronger and my back is weaker, I would have to prefer the Princess lift, since it would be less stress on my back. Though the real embarrassment is Japanese girls are so small, it's gonna look like I'm carrying a child....

I don't understand. Why is the young woman with the red-dyed hair so shy? She (and her friend) are quite pretty. I wouldn't mind picking up either one of them... They also look very petite, so I'd bet their weight wouldn't be a problem. (I have back problems, but I'm a big guy and can still carrying someone that's less than 50kg.)

Doesn't matter to me really.. I never really did any of it. But I guess if my lady likes that sort of stuff. Then who am I to say no to it.
