NOTE for my measurements:
1 cup all-purpose flour = 125 grams
1 cup milk/water = 250 ml
Braided Bread Chocolate Banana Filling
Quick water roux:
2 tbsp all-purpose flour/plain flour
4 tbsp hot boiling water
Mix until smooth
Dough:
375g (3 cups) all-purpose flour/plain flour
1-1/2 tsp instant yeast
50g (4 tbsp) sugar
A pinch of salt
125ml (1/2 cup) warm milk
1 large egg, beaten
42g (3 tbsp) soft butter/margarine
Egg wash
A little oil for the bowl
Filling:
1 or more large ripe banana, cut in the middle and split up ( one banana become 4 pieces)
Chocolate flakes/sprinkles/chopped
