He does need to cover that coop!! He could get a guard goose! I just watched a video called “I love my guard goose, his name is Larry”. This goose watches the sky and trees for Birds of prey, amazing.
Nice rig. I have a 2010 ram hemi 4x4 that’s collecting dust in my driveway because I’m struggling w severe depression and anxiety. Would love to get her running and get her muddy. And get my ass out of this house. I’m just stuck in a rut. Great channel brother!
I'll keep you in my prayers brother, keep your head up. You're just going through a rough season. We all get stuck in a rut from time to time. Just remember that God is sovereign and he's in complete control 🙏🏽
Out of the many hard lessons I’ve learned in life the hardest was giving up on myself. No matter what happens never give up, fall ten times get up and go at it again. I wish you the best!!!
My Chevy is a Z71 that just turned 20 years old and she has 108,000 miles. All I have ever done is put new tires on her 3 Times and just serviced transmission, differential and a couple other minor things just over $500! Very very pleased with my Chevy and hope you have as much success as I have. Towed a Skeeter 200 for many years and when others had difficulty my 4WD has no problem getting up and down icy and slippery boat ramps, and you know how heavy the Skeeter is. Still loving mine and will be making a trip back to Keller, TX for grandsons Boy Scout Eagle Award in da Z71!
For the roof rack, I went to a local parts yards, pulled a roof rack off a wrecked Ford Explorer for $25.00, bought 8 aircraft grade bolts with nuts and washers and had it installed on my ARE cap in under an hour. Purchased "J" hooks for the kayaks, but after a year or two it got old trying to lift them up. Purchased the Thule Kayak Lifts. Pricey at $500, but way less than multiple visits to my chiropractor! Now the system comes down to the side of the truck. SO much easier to get the yaks on/off.
awesome truck, too bad you had trouble already. wow! myself been running Z71s since 1998....very few issues, currently have the 2018 z71 with a Zone suspension lift....tires went with the Cooper STT Pro 285/65/18. Also did the factory rake for boating as well. Enjoy that new truck!
My son is about to start his second tournament season this coming up weekend. He is 7 years old and he is probably the most dedicated little fisherman I have ever seen. We are working on getting him another big sponsor to help out with the tournament costs. I know it is a long shot but he knows all about the googan squad and I know it would completely blow his mind if there was a possibility of having y’all support him. We are local Texans based out of magnolia TX we have our first tournament in lake Conroe on the 25th 20 min from the house. We know it will be tough fishing but if I know my little guy he will tough it out and fish ever second he can. I would really appreciate it if he would get the chance to meet some of y’all soon. This little guy lives to fish and it would literally blow his mind if he could at the very least shake your hand!
Same, the Tundra may be dated and lacks the bells and whistles, but there is ZERO doubt that the Tundra is by far the most capable and reliable half ton pick up in the world! It also drives these Chevy, Ford, and Ram fan boys crazy when you tell them that the Tundra is also the most US built truck in the world!
Kevin Huff most capable?! Bro. Not even you believe that non sense. For starters, they don’t have a diesel option so, no. They’re extremely heavy, no low end power, and TERRIBLE crash test ratings. The 4.7 Toyota v8 was extremely reliable but at the same time, the maintenance cost on that engine could pay for a replacement engine in the other brands. 50k mile timing belt replacement at $1500 per change. I wouldn’t want to put miles on them or beat them very hard. Maybe the pre-2003 I think it was considering it was a non interference engine but not anything newer. The 5.7 isn’t built quite as well as what that engine was
As a pt of ref. I live in WI and have a Bichon/Poodle mix, which means short legs. I have shoveled a pt of the backyard twice now to get a space shallow enough snow depth and big enough space wise for her to do her bizness. Once more ought to complete the task. Enjoy!
Man you know what the guy at Enterprise just told me they had recalls on all their brand new 2020 Chevy 1500s. And somehow the 2020 Dodge Ram has a 5/5 for reliability surpassing both GMC/Chevy and Ford, which I think is the first time in awhile. Still love this truck. Looking hard at it for next year
Haha, well, I myself am not into the whole "blackout" concept, nor this weird "modern/industrial" trend that everyone is taking part it. And I personally think trucks look far better with chrome/silver wheels and accenting over black, less it's mainly/strictly for over-landing, in which case the immense size of those vehicles (specifically trucks) in comparison to normal ones then both look good, but black wheels tends to look just a bit better. I've found that blackout styling fits best with muscle cars or big "mom van" SUVs, like Tahoes.
Welcome to Cincinnati Weather Justin. Our weather up here in Cincy has been like that for Years dude!! 60s & 70's in the morning, then in the 30's & Snowing or Sleeting by nightfall!! Crazy
Well congrats, Texas! You officially have had twice as much snow as we've had in the Portland area of Oregon the last 3-4 years combine in less than 12 hours! lol
I've been with Toyota since 1993, never owned anything else and never been stranded. Just picked up a new Tundra crewmax TRD Off Road, awesome truck. Last truck with a 2010 Tundra, 170,000 miles, oil changes, tires, and one radiator, that was it. Oh, and a crap load of gas. The only negative is the fuel economy, or lack of.
Ive owned Pontiacs to Chevy's to Ford's. They all have problems. I currently have a 2018 f-150 and it's had a slew of problems as well. Warped dash was replaced with another warped unit, oil consumption in my 5.0l has had a knew pcv valve put in and it still burns oil. Now Ford released a tsb addressing the throttle body as the fix to prevent such a harsh vaccum under heavy acceleration. My transmission has been reprogrammed for heavy shifting into 1st and 6th gear. Now it sometimes just clunks into 6th. A Ford service tech drove my truck and couldn't get it to do it so now my truck is stuck with a clunky 6th gear. Last week while a small ice/snow storm here in Missouri came through, my horn has failed and not sure if it's related to the weather but it now sounds like a Prius. I love my truck but the small constant issues make me think it's not a very well revised truck and has some corners cut. To anyone that wants to bash Ford let's not forget about dodges tailgates falling off or GM's braking issues, to Toyotas crappy internal starters or the new fuel pump recall. Every truck has problems.
Good luck and God Bless you and your new Adventure Wagon. I pray that was just a screw up at the shop and you don't have anymore mishaps like that. I am happy for you with your new 4x4 as you went away from the RWD in the Tundra. Toyotas are known for their reliability, but every brand will have issues and owners of trucks in each brand will say that they never had any major issues with said truck brand or model. She does look bad to the bone. I wouldn't put a Googan Squad decal on it so people won't know that is your truck at the trailhead or boat ramp some people can be disrespectful. I think the Adventure Wagon is one sweet ride and I like the upgrades. I personally am not a fan of chrome, with all those upgrades was it still cheaper than just getting a LT Trailboss in white in the first place? Any how I look forward to the many adventures ahead in your new truck.
Forrest Earnest Agreed. Every mfg will have quirks but one group namely the loyal diehard yoterbois are the worst. Fact is toyoyo still holds the highest recalls in U.S. history.......and before all u fanbois come screaming....Fyi, yota just had a major recall a few weeks ago....and it deals with vehicles catchn on FIRE......but its no big deal.......u loyalbois will eat up any of yotas shit they put out and ask for more
I came for the truck staying for the other videos! Looking forward to hear how the truck goes. I'm considering getting one once my current 5.3L with 6 speed lease is up.
my 2019 Silverado did the exact same thing problem was I traded my 16 Silverado in bc of mysterious electrical gremlins. so im with ya man....wiring harness was routed too tight on the MASS airflow sensor pulling the pins out. thought the trans was gonna fall out it was kicking so hard.
You guys get snow and then it is gone I wish we had winter like that . In North Dakota we get blowing winds and ice on the road. Not my cup of tea. But I do love ice fishing
Love the modifications to the truck! I want to do similar to mine. Did you notice any increase in road noise with the BFGs? How about any decrease in MPG? Topper looks great!
If your protecting from predators and not just trying to contain the chickens covering the top is important, raccoons will climb right over that wall and hawks owls and eagles will fly right in. Plus you want a skirt around the bottom or foxes will dig underneath. That wire is also really big, hardware cloth is strong and a smaller wire to stop things from crawling through or reaching through
I mean let's be honest fords the best pickup out there..McDonalds is not a good comparison my guy there the cheapest and that's y they sell the most burgers..ford is a more expensive truck and still sells lots more..how does that happen 🤷♂️ lol
@@nicozuniga7838 yes cost wise it cost more because of repairs. Toyota Tundra has been the same truck since 07 and still cost more than all the generations of Ford Trucks.
@@ApexOutdoorPower lmao and u happy about a outdated truck being higher priced okay..not to mention there ugly as shit& outdated interior..my girl has a 16 F150 ecoboost it's been a whole 4 years..when do you say them repairs will be needed??lol..not to mention they will gap other trucks lol
You're going to have to come back ...mid spring and use regular fence staples on that wire. Little staples rust out fast! Plus....run one course of regular chicken wire around the bottom....just incase of little clicks hatching! They'll wonder through that gauge of fence you have now.😎👍🤙
You'll definitely need a winch and air compressor just in case you get into trouble on your adventures. Oh and definitely should get some seat covers like Outlaw that'll help keep the seats nice and clean. 👍
LFG what are the led lights you have in your garage above your work bench? I have tried to find the name in the past video that you talked about them. But can’t find it.
White doesn't show scratches as much either, when i bought my 14 GMC I went blue for the first time and immediately regretted it after taking it offroad it just shows scratches so much more that Arizona pin striping is brutal you could barely see them on my old white 03 silverado. Also the tires are probably just as wide, i bet your tundra had a small offset on the wheels which made them poke out a little bit farther under the fender flares.
You know we all want to see those tires muddy and want to see that next adventure!!!! Off roading or camping adventure soon with some mud on the new silveraado would be badass. Got to see what she is made of. love the vids. keep it up.
So glad you got the chrome rims. I think the bkack ones are fuglee. The fender flavors..muy bueno. I would have the full length running boards. I really like that truck...your brother, Rob, just got a similar truck. I want a 1500 Dodge with the 3.0 diesel...but, I want the 4 wheel air suspension. Unless I win the lottery....NOT!
Trade it in . That problem happened to a buddy of mine with a Colorado it happened 5 times one of witch was at the dealer after they swore they fixed it. It’s not just a simple short on a wire.
You're gonna need a roof on that chicken coop. My family has built several chicken coops in my life (my parents had them while I was growing up and still do) and the one thing they all have in common is that there is a roof on top of em. It keeps the chickens in and the hungry critters out.
Upgrades are looking good on the half-pint Duramax. Excellent score on recovering/utilizing your old Lund locker! Question: why not go for the double hump cap? You know, the kind that's taller in the back half. Is it just because you need/prefer the roof rack on top, perhaps?
I saw your comment before he revealed the diagnosis. I’d have to agree, because if it was done by the factory, the truck would have more than likely done the same thing before it was even sold. There could be that slim possibility that it came with a small short, and was worsened, however that’s a small possibility. It was fine before it went in, came out with issues. Doesn’t seem like a manufacturer fault to me.
Nothings going down man. Fighter jets are a daily thing on this side of town. Looks like u were about 2 miles from the joint reserve base. Also that is one killer rig ya got there.
