Just heard this bad boy ten minutes ago from our hotel!! And it's not a test, Branson is in a tornado warning right now. That is a very eerie sound piercing through the thunder and rain!!!

If you're asking who makes the siren, I don't know. If you're asking location: it's downtown on Business 65 right next to the old Texaco.

They still had a Tornado Drill two weeks after the real thing came through they should change the day and time of next years drill

@ Luke Kreykes Glad we didn't have any thing touch the ground the other night. There certainly was a lot of rotation aloft, though.

@garyhstorms10 you know what...considering how many of these episodes seem to happen in the winter, I totally agree with you! In fact, I'd say do one around the first of every year, and then do another one in September or October....we tend to have fall tornado events around here sometimes too.

@medusan980 trust me...that ain't the half of it. There are so many areas in this county that do not have siren coverage at all. It's a disaster waiting to happen. I wonder if the wake-up call we just got will open some eyes??? Branson charges 10% sales tax, yet we're light years behind many smaller communities when it comes to storm preparedness. God help this place if we ever get an EF2 or and EF3 during tourist season!!!
