Comedian Brent Butt gives a tour of his Gameroom Studio, where he produces most of his content; from RU-vid videos, to podcasts, to editing Corner Gas Animated (and where he plays poker with his pals).
Love u brent! I'm a Canadian living in Colorado. Recently I seen corner gas was available on Amazon prime in the USA and I'm so happy! I'm on my 4th round of watching it! And i enjoy ur RU-vid videos so much. I hope one day I get to see u live! 💖💖💖🇨🇦
Brent, I first saw you in Ladner, you were doing a fundraiser for Delta gymnastics. Absolutely fantastic! I’m happy I got to see you before your corner gas stint. I also loved corner gas. Oscar and Emma could have been my parents! They too loved the show! Eric Peterson did his play “SEEDS” at my place of work, the Surrey art center. He wasn’t sure how to get to your house, so he followed me in his car all the way from Surrey across the Oakstreet bridge. I lived in North Delta! So yes it was out of my way but I wanted to do something for him because Eric and the whole cast of Corner Gas, did so much for me and my family.
Hi Brent, I was born in 1981. The pinball machine is awesome. Just found your youtube channel. I grew up in saskatchewan. Awesome you live in Vancouver and married to Nancy. I liked seeing Fred in the one video. Keep it up, I would never unsub.
Brent, I ran across Corner Gas on Prime video. I absolutely love the show! Animated and real life! I’ve since understand I have a health issue and your show helps eliminate my anxiety. It’s a great show for the whole family and far exceeds many others because you prove that you don’t have to be fowl mouthed to be funny! God bless you and your family and staff, Frank Biondo 🇨🇦🇺🇸🙏
Hi brent! I found corner gas on amazon prime and I love it! Then found you here. I'm in ohio so didnt know about corner gas but I love the humor. I am on dialysis and am waiting for a kidney transplant. I watch corner gas at dialysis and it makes the time go much faster! Just wanted to tell you I'm enjoying it! Thank you!
Wow! You really have a flare for designing a really beautiful studio. I have always been curious about the stories behind some items. We loved the tour. What great memories you have built from your life, in that room. Oliver is a wonderful guard dog and a very handsome canine. Brent, we love everything you do along with your precious wife and the cast of corner gas.
Thanks for the tour! Oliver is adorable :) I have a couple of my dad's old tobacco tins as well with all his old washers, and nuts and bolts that he kept in them. Reminds me of him as well.
Cool use of the garage. Here in Australia, just leave want you want to cook in there and the heatwave does the rest. Also thanks for the tips for a studio set up.
This space is what my garage wants to be when it grows up! Thank you Brent for the inside look; and thank you Oliver 🐶 for your unbroken "out/in" streak while Dad is recording!
I really enjoyed that tour and hearing the stories behind the items you have there. Oliver is a star! I love how he responded to his name and did that wonderful head tilt.
Love this! We just found Corner Gas a month ago and it's our new favorite. Last thing we do at night after a long day, and we go to bed in a really good mood. Seriously, laugh out loud stuff!
Great garage studio. I like your recording setup and I might try to copy that. My man cave is actually an upstairs bedroom. Thanks for sharing your space and your memories.
I've always been curious about your studio but remained silent. Good to see that your studio is truely a studio! You've put effort into equipment and sound absorption and all that jazz. 👍 Thanks for sharing! If you ever start a RU-vid membership, I'll happily support you! One question.... How is there a garage door on the 67th floor of Sparrow Media Towers??
30-ish years ago I married myself a Canadian.... That's probably not going to last but at least I inherited Corner gas and Hiccups from the whole mess... Oh yeah ,,and the kids too. I still remember the time my 11 year old daughter ate something spicy and declared to the room..."It's like French kissing Satan!!!!" (A choice line from Hiccups). Congratulations Brent on the great game room,,The Corner Gas animated series and all the other stuff that you have going. I'm rooting for you for the proficiency award...
So grateful for amazon prime. I went through all episodes and the movie. Sadly, I thought that was it. Then I found the Butt Pod and you tube. Merry Kringle to me. Come to NYC, please.
👍 Great tour Brent, loved it.....but it’s your garage.....so now where do you park the Bentley, Porsche and Ferrari ? Love Oliver! One heck of a good watch dog! I could sit and watch him all day doing what I like to do...
great tour... looks like you may have some different light colour happening that is affecting the color on the video??... a mix of LED and incandescent may be the issue.
Try some Hydrogen-Peroxide on the stain. You might let it soak for a bit depending upon how long it's been there. Great video, liked seeing Oliver finally, very cool dog. Great studio area too, now if you wouldn't mind demonstrating your guitar playing skills which as a fellow guitar player would be cool. One quick ? if I may. Live in U.S.A. and wondering when Corner Gas Animated Season 1 might be showing up on DVD/Blue-Ray. Thanks in advance and good luck with the stain.
I noticed a thermostat on the wall. How do you heat the garage? I'm guessing it has its own heating system separate from the rest of the house especially if it has to combat a non-insulated garage door. (Also, do you keep it at 70 or 72?)
Brent use peroxide to clean the cherry juice. If that happens again, immediately put baking soda on it to soak up and then peroxide, with it being dry, not sure baking soda would help now. Use a wet cloth with the peroixde to avoid changing any colors. Love you all the talent you have and bless us all with. My son has a podcast and writes comedy and does stand-up and you two are so much alike you could be related with the similarties. He has some very old and rare comic books too. We got them when he was a baby and they were in plastic and have been for 32 yrs. You mention some that he has on Corner Gas when you become a fan..and Hank saves you..lol You are very inspiring and always so much fun! (Thank you & Nancy too) The Spiderman pinball is too cool. Not crazy about posting this on here, but you ask so Peroxide.
To get the juice stain you could also fill a bucket or such with hot water and a few big scoops of Oxy Clean and let the mat soak for a while, half hour or so. Chuck the mat in the wash with another scoop of Oxy Clean and just wash it. I'm pretty amazing at spilling stuff onto other stuff, and that's become my go to to get stains out.
I spotted a magnet for The Delicate Art of Parking on the fridge! I just created a Canadian Amazon account (I live in NY State) so I could buy it! Couldn’t find it anywhere else (Philistines).
your vids are always a pleasure. My only burning question; what's the aluminum looking brick/waffle iron looking thingy left of your dad's tobacco tin?
Question: Hi Brent, my brother Josh who recently passed away after a long sickness had 2 Favorite shows, Corner Gas and MASH. I saw Alan Alda on your Laughter Elite picture and I was just wondering how much of a MASH fan you are. Love The ButtPod keep it up 🙂👍✌🙂
OMG!! I need one of those love seats!! I live in an rv with the most miserable couch in the universe. But to replace it I need a love seat with legs or it won't fit.... I NEED one of those. W Okay, need might be too strong a word, but WAAAAANT feels just about right.
Brent, the next time you are in Toronto on a Monday evening come out to the Toronto Pinball League. Machines from the 70's 80's and new ones. It's tons of fun. Locations are private to members only, but if you send me a message I'll let you know where we are playing that night. Hope to see you soon.
gRAAAAdge!??? 🤣 Also, I love the gas pump, but probably should hold chili cheese dogs, not wine. Keep up the podcasts, etc. My grandson still watches all the episodes of the show, over, and over, and over.
I get up every morning and jump out of bed to see if perchance Trump has died a timely, natural death... then I'm depressed, then I watch Corner Gas and feel better. But I'm at season 6, episode 10.. I know there's a couple of movies and the animated series... but please, add more faster cause I don't think I can stand reality without fresh corner gas. Also, I want to mention my favorite character, but I can never decide, so never mind.
