It’s not pg fault his teammates are hurt especially Kawhi this mf is never playing & Westbrook did nothing but dance moves all season & Harden play okay but it wasn’t enough
Except that PG led them to their first ever WCF appearance…. Dude needs to educate himself. Getting bridges for that insane haul is going to be an overall negative for the Knicks. He’s just not that guy
@@Dr.BryceBanner5666 He doesn't have to be "that guy" though. That's not what the Knicks are getting him for. He's just going to be one of the guys who can play on both sides of the ball and who can develop a good chemistry with the others.
LOTS of "big 3s" don't make it, he's not wrong. It's actually a lot harder than it seems. Personally, if they stay healthy, I think the Knicks win the east. When you have Brunson leading, Mikal, Donte, Julius, Hart and company, I like them odds if they stay healthy. Keyword IF. If they do, that's a dangerous team out east. Then you have the Bucks, 76ers, Indiana and the Cavs. The east isn't a lock for the Celtics by a long shot. Then people are counting out the Warriors out west, they love that and feed off that. I got them making a run. Then you have Denver, Wolves, Thunder and the Mavs out west. I have Dallas running it back with Klay. I feel he could really be that missing piece for them.
The Knicks are the most recent incarnation of the 04 Pistons. Massive defense with a team that plays connnected and unselfish. Boston is daunting, but I think the Knicks can compete with them.
5.) Brooklyn retaining their draft picks from Houston 4.) Pelicans trading for DeJunte Murray 3.) Klay Thompson to Dallas 2.) Alex Caruso going to the Thunder 1.) Mikal going cross city to New York and OG re-signing with the team. I am not putting PG on this list cause that genuinely doesn't matter unless Embiid stays healthy. I'm a keep the same energy for this season like I was hard on the Celtics last season for NOT winning when it matters the most.. and the C's proved me wrong... NOTHING MATTERS for the SIXERS UNTIL THEY PROVE TO BE HEALTHY. I am not putting CP3 on this list because I feel that the Spurs are a trade or two away from being competitive. I know the rumors are linking Markannen with the Spurs...
OKC built such a perfect young team, it was already a great team last season, but now with Caruso and Hartenstein is even better👏🏻 The 76ers with PG made the team East Conference finals contender again! The Mavs with Klay filled the gap with the lack of 3pt% so far these are the 3 biggest upgrades in my opinion.
9:28 The Knicks starting 5 does not include DiVicenzo. The starters are Brunson, Bridges, Anunoby, Randle & Robinson. DiVicenzo, Hart & McBride are on the bench with Sims and now Bates-Diop & and the rookies Dadiet, Kolek, Diakite & Hukporti who might not even make the team. Also, the Knicks are looking for another center. Kessler from Utah has been rumored.
Fully healthy, the Knicks match up well against the Celtics. They'd be the slight underdogs but the Celtics would actually have a challenge this time around.
@@Paulafan5 no they won’t and I’ll tell you why New York loss one of their key rebounders and they’re going to trade away Mitchell Roberson because he’s injury prone, and on top of that New York do not got shooters besides Dante Bridges and Bronson and another point who is going to stop Porzingis Brown and Tatum and white and holiday nobody on New York and on top of that Boston’s bench is rlly deep
lmao i can now understand why Bulls FO is so stupid and still has the job...when the entire league was mocking the bulls trade, bulls fans think this doesn't stink
Giddey had 3 triple doubles with limited minutes. On paper, he's a better player than Caruso. Plus, he had that social media attack that distracted him most of the season. With that over with, he should be better in Chicago.
For me, Dejounte Murray is the most interesting 'dark horse' move. If Ingram (one of my favorite players) can reach his potential with ZION healthy... look out.
I agree with Windy. Caruso & Hartenstein are the most significant moves so far this off-season. Just like the most important off-season move last year was Jrue Holiday.
I love the Windy support. I've been telling people that he is intelligent and doesn't say garbage hype things in the moment. He makes good judgement takes
Gen Z has nothing to do with this clown. And if you think that demographic is watching ESPN then you shouldn’t be allowed in public without adult supervision.
I would agree with Windy's point about the Sixers hollowing the roster, except they had no roster to hollow. The only important player from last year was Oubre.
The addition of Klay Thompsom to the Dallas Mavericks roster could bring the Mavs to one ot the best 3 offensive teams during this next season in a whole NBA.If Klay were with the Mavs in last NBA Finals against the Celtics this would be a much different situation in this finals,a much closer situation. At least it would be way much closer than it actually was.Mavs nedeed his 3pointers.And if they have him that finals could look completely different at the end.Long story short-the Mavs will be way much more dangerous for everyone this next season with Klay at their toster+not only Klay.Marshall,Lively 1year more experienced,Gafford too.PJ also,Hardy,Grimes,,,,and don't forget-Luka and Kyrie will be on the mission.Remember-Luka was all banged up,and still he had to carry the whole team for the Dallas Mavericks. The ammount of open three pointers generated by Luka for Clay could be absurd. We could see it immediately in the first month of a next season.LET'S GO MAVS,,,,
A g-leaguer who will take playing time away from their first round pick in the NBA? It could be a story if the locker room becomes divided over that. If Bronny is taking minutes from bench players who are far superior and deserve playing time, that could create a rift. Then again, the Lakers stink and their ceiling is 9th.
What I don’t understand about the Knicks critique of the trade is, those picks were worthless to them unless they were to go through a major meltdown. Only 4 out of the 12 they had , had any chance of materializing into anything worthy for them and they only traded 3 of them. They still have more than enough to overcome a meltdown, AND they solidified their roster. The Nets and Knicks won that trade with flying colors. The Nets have major ammunition to rebuild, and the Knicks have a solid team for the now and the future, PLUS insurance if sh!t doesn’t go right. Like bruh..
Let's be real, PG13 is 34 years old, has injuries history and you add that with Joel Embiid who's ALSO has a long history of injuries.. No, I don't believe in the 76ers. Talking about the Mavs, Klay is another player who is 34 years old, he's not what he used to be. He's not a SF, and also had an injurie history. I totaly understand why Windy do not put this moves in his top 4.
Even if i wasn't a Knicks fan I would still see the them as the biggest threat in the east like our defense upgrades and offense like OG BRIDGES HART ROBINSON ARE THE POSTER MEN FOR DEFENSE IN THE NBA 🗽💙🧡💙🧡🗽 this roster is full of two way offensive and defensive players besides bruson and he's Gucci he plays the lanes but this shall be a very interesting season all around 💯💯💯💯🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
The biggest deals were the champs resigning everyone. They just absolutely dominated for 9 months and did it without their 3rd best player. As far as okc is concerned they r gonna fail for a few years before they break through. But they r building it the right way.
If I’m Donovan Mitchell I don’t understand why I signed that contract with Cleveland. I wanna win. Teams would have been willing to give him that much money. Cavs will never get to the Eastern conference finals for years
OKC without doing anything would be better this year because Chet and Jalen will improve and (hopefully) not choke in the playoffs. If just one of them showed up against Dallas to help SGA, the Thunder make the Finals. Add Caruso and they should be the team to beat in the West. The Knicks are a dangerous club and adding Bridges makes them a threat to the Celtics (provided OG actually plays in the playoffs).
Windy acts like the Sixers just sign Paul George and that's it. They resigned Oubre who is a athletic dawg type of player who can keep up with OG or Bridges and even Brunson. The biggest sneaky move is they signed Andre Drummond who literally just needs to play defense and rebound to give Embiid rest.
Exactly these mfs just be talking lol not to mention they signed Eric Gordon on a vet minimum who is going to spread the floor and can still get his own shots off the bench
It hadn't even been a month and context is already being lost. Celtics are not some juggernaut. Pacers were hurt, Knicks were hurt, bucks were hurt, sixers were hurt, heat was hurt, cavs were hurt. Next year when every that isn't hurt we will see how good they are. Empty stats aside, Tatum can't play how he played this past playoffs against a healthy bucks, or any legit team and think they gonna win.
Donovan Mitchell sat out in the playoff when he could have played .. 3 years for 150 million ? That’s crazy! The amount of these contracts make no sense
Windy is wrong. George personally took the Clippers to the WCF first time ever without kawhi and the reason they never went anywhere is because of kawhi injuries not George. Well except the bubble when George checked out 😅
Come on , Celtics extending JT and DW , Spurs signing CP to coach Wembi with Pop , Lakers promoting a second round pick over a good first round pick , and KP getting surgery
He did answer. And then went on to say like he said prior he’s not ready to put that much pressure on Sixers after the George move because he feels they need a year together lol
What about the Celtics keeping their top 10 guys, and then Wyc Grousbeck deciding to sell his majority share? The main goal is still 'Onto Banner #19'.
Embiid soo scary!! Embiid #3 Seed/SeaT!!! Now. 76rrs. Batum n Convinton, Vets on 3s. And new Rushers. Cam payne. Heild, #16, #9 #12 Tobias harris. Drummon!! Soo scary!!
