In fairness, on the full episode of the first visit they tried to convince her to look at other dresses but she had her heart set on that one

I just came here to read the comments, and most people (not you) are just saying gushy things about how beautiful she looks. I’m 70 years old myself, and if she holds onto this weight I doubt she’ll be able to walk by the time she’s my age.

You know that, no matter what people do, they don't have control over their weight ? They can change their habits and remain at the same weight? Just saying :)

There is so much more to weight loss than just restricting intake. I wish that anyone seeking to lose a large amount of weigh would first see their doctor who can get them in a weight loss program that balances proper nutrition, metabolism, exercise, and counseling, including a support system. It is a journey and should be treated as such. I think this is especially important for those that have had a life-long struggle with their weight. Also, while high protein diets can be effective the sustainability long term is questionable and it puts lots of stress on the kidneys, which is why I stress the importance of seeing their doctor first to select the best weight loss regimen consistent with their health status.

Those people in my 600 pounds life get so much support. She did not! And also everyone has so many things going on in their life that we don't know! Let's be kind and understanding! 😊

@@gracielou1407 It’s not even about restricting intake. It’s about changing what you actually eat. You can quite well as long as it’s not processed foods and empty carbs. Her health doesn’t seem to be a priority sadly especially as she starts out on married life.

I think the remedy is to be proactive long before it reaches the stage where you hate the sight of yourself in the mirror. I,m no twiggy, but l can control what l eat fairly well. Once the waistband feels a bit tight..especially after holidays and Christmas..do some exercise and eat sensibly until you get back to your ideal weight. You don,t have to starve yourself to be reasonably slim and fit. Of course, medical conditions may cause weight increase..different scenario.
