I'm so glad that Randy made her think about the fact that she will have to change anyway after she gets out of the water, so might as well go with the mermaid dress and then just change into and out of the bathing suit for the dolphin ceremony. She looked gorgeous in the dress!

Aquatic weddings are quite common. I live in CA so there is always people getting married in the water whether it's a Surfing wedding, Scuba wedding, Mermaid wedding, or just standing in the water. I think that it would have been better for her to have had something designed, but it is what it is. I think the dress was the better option.

Seriously? Sometimes people have too much imagination, like getting married underwater wearing scuba gear. Why not just get married on the beach, then spend your honeymoon swimming with wild dolphins? There’s a great place off the coast of FL where they take you to an island and let you swim with wild dolphins. Dolphins can hear up to three mikes away, and when they hear people swimming they’ll make your way to you. Swimming with dolphins everyday for a week can reverse severe illnesses, relieves acute depression etc., or you can do it just for fun.

Keeping dolphins in captivity for exploitation and the entertainment of humans is so beyond cruel. Anyone who actually likes dolphins or knows anything about them would NEVER be ok with this!!! 🛑👎🚫 not sure why?? watch the documentary the cove

Randy is such a class act of light hearted sanity. The BEST news viz the bride and Marine Bio?? Life doesn't stop in Old School 18-22 years. College students come in all ages, phases and preparations, remedial skills to 2nd career proficiency. The bio & oceanography courses are all do-able, with the right sequence of learning---junior college, online, part-time, certificates---if it takes 5 or 8 years? Those 5-8 years are going to pass---with or without classes. And Marine Bio has so many facets, they can have their 10 and 20 year anniversaries in water---with their little pod if they have baby dolphins...

If she wanted to wear something bridal looking in the water, she should've had a white one-piece swimsuit with maybe a skirt on it. Edit: I just looked up their wedding to see how it went. It turns out they "had a change of plans" and instead got married at a hotel in Pigeon Forge, TN, and without dolphins.

Not every bride starves herself before trying on dresses. Some of us buy one sight-unseen on the internet and eat whatever we want and it fits like a glove ❤ Luck + ice cream 😂

You could maybe have the ceremony by the water. The dolphins will show up if they want yo be there.

I think they should not go into the water. I mean you spend all that time on your gown, your hair and your make up.. for what ? To be in the water with dolphins for a few minutes who would rather be fishing for dinner than have 2 strange creatures in the water with them.. Then you get out of the water, and rush to dry off and get back into your gown while the guests wait to congratulate the couple.. I just don’t think they are thinking this through...having the ceremony by the seashore is romantic. The dolphins don’t make it more special.. just my opinion..🤷‍♀️

If she gets into the water in that fitted dress, skirt won't rise too much, but for a dress in the water you may need to consider putting some tiny WEIGHTS into the hemline. It's what is done with the smock/gowns that are used for church full baptisms to keep the smock down and keep it from rising up when the person is dunked in the baptistry.

I don't understand when people try to make their wedding more gimmicky than just about their love. Have a theme, have fun, but keep your priorities straight! (I don't think it's always wrong, like if the gimmick is your entire life, like she works at sea world lol, but for the average person, I feel like they will regret it)

I don't know why she doesn't just get married in a aquarium or on a sightseeing boat and maybe they can see dolphins you still get the water aspect, but not have to be soaking wet and have to worry about your hair and makeup not to mention that she will probably smell like the ocean all day on her wedding day. If it was me I would also do dolphin floral pieces. with maybe pastel light blue, pastel green and even white flowers, and the brides maids would wear blue dresses.

The gown is absolutely stunning on you. I agree with one of the other in the comment string. Swim with the dolphins on your honeymoon. Lisa, do yourself a favor and lay off the tanning spray/lotion. This is coming from a former sun worshiper who was going to the tanning bed every day before my wedding. A month before the wedding my sister told me to stop. I am so glad I did. I still had nice color but, it didn't look fake.

Wear a halter top swimsuit under dress #2, but undo the halter and tuck the straps under the stress. Then it would be easy to quickly remove the dress to get into the water without actually changing. She'd still have to actually change back into the dress after the swim, but at least one change could be removed by doing that.
