Anyi V she said, it’s too plain, too old, and it’s just not me. Which.. I get just cuz you like vintage doesn’t mean you have to love everything old. But I feel like you can’t say “I like vintage” and then complain that “it’s too old.” She may just not like the style. That’s like saying “I like blue” but then complaining that it’s too blue.
I think that by "too old" she meant it looked as if it were "too old for her." She did say she "felt as if she were 50 and trying to cover up her Bingo wings," in that dress.
I think by "too old" she wasn't talking about the age of the dress as obviously those dresses aren't old, but rather she meant that it made her look older than she was, so "too old" as in made for an older bride.
Kate is not a normal woman just like the rest of us. The clue is in the surname, Middleton. She might not have been anywhere near royal status before but she was certainly upper class.
Exactly what I thought. She wasn't your average gal working in Tesco, she already had some sort of connections with the royal family. This woman is mad 😂
gallopracerfan lol I agree her dad was a billionaire and she came from an upper class family, maybe she wasn't royalty but she definitely wasn't a "commoner"
Actually, you're wrong. Kate Middleton was a commoner. She's not even upper-class. She grew up wealthy and middle-class, has a working-class heritage, and married into royalty. The class system in the UK is different to anywhere in world in that it's based on how one was raised. So while she is royalty and her children are royalty, she'll always be middle-class too.
EliteXtasy Fair enough, I just want to make it clear, she is not like us in a sense that she probably didn't ever struggle for money, she probably went on a lot of holidays and I assume she always lived in a nice big house. Basically she was extremely privileged whereas some people seem to think she was from a working class family which she definitely wasn't.
I'm from austria. Here it is rather usual that the brides parents pay for the wedding. Of course that is a bit old school, but it is still seen that they chip in a little and pay for one thing/part. I wouldn't want it for my wedding but I would not think of it as weird or anything to be honest if someone else tells me that their dad pays.
Kate isn't normal, her family comes from the Lupton family who were always close associates to Henry VII, as well as being a direct descendant of King Edward IV through her mother and Kind Edward III through her father, so she has royal and noble lineage still. Even growing up, she was very well off, but that doesn't mean any less of her
Fiha Fiha i see what you're saying diana was the same way but it doesn't necessarily mean anything. she didn't grow up wealthy and affluent because of those bloodline connections. it's understandable that's she's descendant from royalty because England is a small nation so literally everyone is in line to throne and a lot of people are descendant of nobility. titles don't always equal money.
Ha, I'm sorry but there are over 60 million people in Britain - under a thousand are related to royalty. Take it from a Brit, Kate is not a "commoner". Again, doesn't mean any less of her, but saying it's understandable that she's a royal descendent because England is "small" is so so untrue.
Chachamaru Cheah no i think it's small because it's often referred to as a smaller nation and it sits on an island that it shares with three other countries.
It's a curse. I have to wear safety glasses for work. When I'm not wearing them on a work day, I give myself a heart attack like "oh shit! I need my safeties. Oh wait, I'm not at work." 66 hours a week has done this to me...

@@a.person4761 no they don't say that all the time it's just that the UK one cares more about the budget and tries to go over budget more than the rest
oohbaby1 I can’t believe you can just openly admit that! The fact that you don’t care about people’s feelings and that you’re just simply saying that you clicked on this video to say something horrible. Madness. Personally I think she looks adorable and happy in the thumbnail.
ikr, shes unlike what ive seen in these dress series or whatever. Shes so sweet and not crazy with her dresses, she was inspired by kate's dress so she wanted some similarities but ppl are such assholes and hating on her for wanting to look like kate when that's never even her intentions lol..
That is why we should try to get out to our comfort zone and fit something that we never really imagine we’d wear. I like her because she is so open minded that even if she doesn't want the design, she still tried it on. She was even shocked when she saw herself in the mirror and realized that it looks amazing on her. Well, I guess we should always give it a shot.
Maria Valentina Guichoux then your comment doesn't count either, since someone's else's opinion doesn't count. We are all humans. Sorry to break it the down to you.
I personally don’t like the sleeveless dress she came to live because it hugs her figure but it makes her look stocky. A dress with sleeves with the right cleavage showing would have done her figure justice, but she felt so confident in that dress and so happy and that, in the end, is what makes any clothing pop. Love her personality too.
agreed. strapless dresses usually make plus sized women look like their shoulders are bigger. the first one was more flattering with the sleeves but it wouldve been better if it were more sexy like more low cut or fitted or something
She says she wants to feel proud of her curves, but the second dress makes it look like her shape isn't curvy but quite straight in a way. Imo it doesn't compliment her figure. But hey, as long as SHE likes it and feels good in it - I'm glad she's happy.
Agreed, she reminds me of Diana a lot for some reason. I know they don't look identical but she has that look to her - classic beauty, elegant, stylish. Something about her makes you want to keep staring at her. William married well
Laura BLair I'm probably the only person in the world who doesn't find her beautiful. She is attractive and elegant but not unique beauty in my opinion. Which doesn't make her ugly just not "wow beautiful". Probably because im Russian, it's difficult to be impressed by someone when you see beautiful woman every day.
First of all, she wasn't a "normal" girl. Kate came from a VERY wealthy family. Secondly, why do people do this? I want to look like myself on my wedding day, not someone else.
I don't remember hearing her ask for a replica of Kate's dress. I believe she wanted something that was Kate's style with her own style mixed in. It's called inspiration.
Lilly Prince because they have no personality or feel bad about their look so they need to dress up as someone else because by themselves they are nothing.
Marcel I- she’s not fat or ugly; they just made the thumbnail to show her looking unflattering and even the prettiest people can look unflattering at a certain angle or context.
@Marcelle you are what's wrong with society. you are why 9 year olds have anorexia and teenagers get plastic surgery. you and people like you are why so many women kill themselves over their looks. stop it. get your head out of your ass
I watch these all of the time, as I’m going dress shopping tomorrow. For some reason this is the only one that’s made me really cry and smile at the same time. She’s so genuinely sweet and charming and I love the dress and her family’s reaction!
Honestly, I didn’t like the dress she liked at first but the more I saw it in the open space with her standing in front of everybody with those lights... it grew on me. She really pulls off the dress.
"You want royal, but quirky?" Literally the first thing she said.. She's freakin' adorable. Those glasses suit her. I think she should wear them on the big day.
I remember the day when I first saw my sister in a wedding dress we were at a very big boutique and every bride was allotted a personal room for the appointment n i couldn't find her room when I entered.i saw her she was in a dress already and she looked like the most beautiful girl on this planet I had tears in my eyes because she looked completely different the dress complimented her so much she looked lovely
I don't think the dress she chose looked good around her waist. It looked like she was stuffed into it. It also look too busy for her. The a line dress suited her body type better.
So not true. My husband has the sole right on the money he makes through his hard work. I make my own money and we both share in family responsibilities but there have been times when I've been unemployed and I had to take money from him (which he gave away freely and happily). Never, even in those circumstances could I call his money mine. There are many self respecting women who will take offense to what you wrote.
Taraa What are you talking about? I was mostly talking the way the consultant dismissed the mother's opinion by pivoting to the dad and saying "Dad, what do you think? You're ... the banks.” I would never assume the woman doesn't work and even if she doesn't I wouldn't think that would devalue her opinion as the bride's mother.
In the first moment I thought it can't be a good idea for her to wear a princess like dress ... But she is a very nice and pretty young lady !! And such a lovely smile ... !! 💗
I think dad is also happy with the price lmao, she looked so happy in the dress and the fact that it seemed like she didn't want something like the one she got, but turned out to love it was amazing~
Old as in age, not old as in style. Lace is inherently vintage and her second dress had lace. The cut of the first dress was too matronly, also known as old.
llola 12345 shut you're mouth? Don't you mean shut "YOUR" mouth? YOU'RE is you are! Lol if YOU'RE going to be nasty at least get YOUR spellings right or you just look unintelligent! Lol
