They’re criticizing the wedding planner for not being on the brides side when ALL SHE WAS WAS ON THE BRIDES SIDE!

i'm glad the bride came to her senses and put the bridesmaids in a different color. if EVERYBODY was in black, you wouldn't be able to spot the bride.

I have to agree with Tyra. The bride should always stand out. I think the black and green will look beautiful.

I don’t like how the consultants talked bad about the wedding planner. It’s her job to make sure the bride stays on track just like it’s theirs to sell a dress .

The wedding planner was completely correct. The bride is supposed to be in her own color, whatever that may be. Imagine the wedding photos. Everyone in black.... The bride wouldn't be able to stand out!.... This is why I can't stand working with some Creatives. They're so flightly and all over the damn place, they don't care that they don't make sense. The idea of everyone in all black shoulda never even crossed the bride's mind. Had it not been for the wedding planner having some good sense, the bride and her desire to be ohhh soooo "unique" 🙄 coulda went terribly, TERRIBLY wrong.

The friends really forgot that it was supposed to be the bride's day. 2 seconds into the session and the friend said I need to wear red I'm the bombshell. She wasn't thinking about the bride from the jump.

This time the wedding planner is totally right. If the bridesmaids wore black, she wouldnt stand out. it's like at a wedding, no one but the bride is allowed to wear white. Tbh, that should be the cardinal rule of weddings no matter the color. If the bride wants to wear blue then don't go to that bride's wedding in blue.

Yeah wearing the same colour as the bride on their day is a bit too much. I was once at a wedding where the maid of honour was dressed more attention-grabbingly than the bride, I honestly thought she was the bride the whole time they were walking down the aisle.

If it was any other situation, they would all try to convince the bride to not put the bridesmaids in the same color as the bride, but because the wedding planner said it, they had to all go against her to create drama because they introduced her as the possible difficult one at the beginning.

Tyra was there to protect the bride from her own bridesmaids. If she hadn't been there, the bridesmaids would have bullied Onyx into black dresses, and she would have gotten lost in her own wedding. Great wedding planner.

The poor wedding planner just wanted the bride to stand out. The bridesmaids put on black knowing the brides would be tempted by it. The bridesmaids did not have her best interest at heart

I was confused when everyone turned on the wedding planner - seemed more like the bridesmaids were pushing the bride towards their vision of doing what THEY wanted even though it was very disrespectful of the bride (imagine everyone saying "oh I LOVE white, I want to wear a white dress TOO!" during a traditional-color wedding) - when the wedding planner was trying to keep everyone on track and remind them that they were in a non-traditional-color wedding and that while normally black would have been fair game, it was not a good idea for this particular situation.

The wedding planner is exactly right; they have no business trying to put the same color as the bride; and they seem like they wanted to do opposite of whatever the wedding planner had to say; shame on them; she was absolutely right!!!!!

What I hate about these bridesmaid episodes is that the show always tries to manufacture some unnecessary drama. Obviously, the bride should be the only one wearing black. Otherwise, her wedding would look like a straight up funeral. The consultant letting them come out in all black dresses to begin with was disrespectful to the bride and shady.

I love that she didn't have a main of honor just best bridesmaids. Also how do I hire her wedding planner?

I liked the wedding planner immediately. She shut down that bridesmaid who wanted to wear red, and she used the correct technique for the bride to see her vision by sticking to her guns. Loving this wedding planner. I understand that the bride loves onyx, I absolutely love onyx myself to the point of obsession. But Tyra 100% had the bride's side and helped keep her vision in her sights and helped her see that it's Onyx and her SO's special day, and THEY should be where the spotlight is. All of her "Bestmaids" (love that twist on the word) can still stand out and look their best without taking anything from the bride herself. Wedding Planner knew best this time and helped lead her bride to see what she knew Onyx truly would love the most.

You wouldn't think twice about wearing a white dress to a wedding as bride's maid...then why would you think it is OK to wear black to a wedding where the bride is going to wear black?
