I wanted her to pick Snowflake as her Maid of Honor. Every dress she walked out in, she had a smile on her face. Nobody needs negative energy.

The statement "If I'm not maid of honor I won't be in the wedding" would be my cue to ask her to leave immediately.

Her not having a Maid of Honor is a smart decision.

Snowflake was the STAR of that appointment! She rocked EVERY dress with a smile, grace, class and a fun, flirty attitude! She deserved to be the Maid of Honor. The other two put too much stress on the bride with their jealousy and pettiness. The bride is a beautiful, patient lady and I wish her the best!

The whole episode i was screamin “Just don’t have a maid of honour!” and then she made that decision. I’m so happy for her. that was the right choice.

When my best friend got married she had me and our other best friend as her bridesmaids. No discussion, no fighting, no maid of honor just two best friends watching their best friend get married and holding her dress above her head while she peed. The end.

I am afraid those two "friends" will fight over who helps the bride with her dress or who holds her flowers during the ceremony. Without a maid-of-honor, she had better assign those responsibilities equally prior to the ceremony or their rivalry will disrupt her day. Too bad her "friends" don't care more about the bride than themselves.

I also did not have a m.o.h. because i couldnt choose! I loved all my friends the same! and i didnt wanna hurt anyones feelings. I called all of them "bridesmaids of honor" lol it worked out well :)

Snowflake would be my MOH. So beautiful, graceful and she is not bringing drama. It would shut the other two girls up and they'd be on the same level. Glad to see they can be ok with the bride's choice.

I feel so badly for brides sometimes. 2 of my good friends both had their MOH cancel the night before the wedding!!!! They were SO panicked! Even though I was a busy mom w 2 young kids, they both asked me to fill in last, literally, minute! Massive race to the mall each time for shoes n dresses. But their weddings each turned out beautiful!!! And I was more than happy to be last minute stand in to make their day special!!

This behavior from the "college friend" is really out of line. And the bride should have long since decided who was who and laid down the law. But the bride having to go WITHOUT ANY maid of honor because of these girls' bickering is terrible.

A maid of honor is someone who knows what makes the bride happy and it’s her job to make sure the bride feels fabulous and will do whatever it takes to make her day special

she was a reasonable bride compared to some of the others i've seen. she picked the dress SHE wanted (didn't get influenced by others), she didn't allow either one of her friends to feel less than the other, and she picked something they all feel comfortable/look good in.

Saying you aren’t gonna be in the wedding if you aren’t the maid of honor is exactly why you should cut the bad fruit off of the tree & never look back. She’s not only trying to make the brides day about her, but she’s also threatening to ruin it if she doesn’t get her way & let’s be real if she does get her way than she gonna run around all day bragging & trying to steal the spotlight, a true friend doesn’t act like that. She’s way too involved in petty middle school drama. You can tell she truly doesn’t care about being their for the bride, all she cares about is beating the brides childhood friend because she’s jealous, she wants to rub it in her face & cause her as much hurt as possible just like a petty middle school girl who is made that another girl is friends with her friend so she’s gonna do everything & anything she can to hurt that person even if she doesn’t truly care about the situation at hand, you know damn well if she cared about her friend she wouldn’t be nonsupportive & threatening to not go to her wedding, that’s some toxic, childish, manipulative, hurtful behavior, if I was the bride in this situation I would’ve cut her off long ago because you know damn well this isn’t the first time she’s acted this way, this type of behavior isn’t a one off type of thing, this is that _”I’m better than everyone else & if you don’t instantly agree & give me exactly what I want than I’m gonna hurt you by ruining everything & everybody you care about”_ type of behavior which is BEYOND TOXIC, people who act like that don’t deserve friends period, they deserve to be miserable by themselves because they ruin everything for everybody.

No one should snap at the bride, "we're not going to do/wear xyz!" They are bridal attendants, there to support the bride. That's their job! Not to dictate to or to bully her. This bride is much too sweet and patient for her own good.

Before the video even really began and they told the story of the rivalry between the two women, I immediately got a bad vibe from the one in the pink shirt. She was rolling her eyes, her face reeked of jealousy and bitterness. The bride and the other two friends seem so positive. The bride radiates happiness. I don’t care if my friend picked out the ugliest maid of honor/bridesmaid dress (if I ever get to be one), a real friend will be supportive and understand it’s the bride’s day. It’s sad too because you can tell she wants a maid of honor but doesn’t want the childish outbursts by her friends. Just based on this short video, you can tell how sweet the bride is….i don’t know how she puts up with an attitude like that- she’s acting like she’s still in high school and the bride deserves so much better. I mean, pink shirt really said ‘If I’m not the maid of honor, then I’m not gonna be apart of the wedding.’ Ugh.

Honestly I think her decision to not have a maid of honour is the best decision because those two women are so petty and catty and neither of them deserve to be maid of honour if that's how they are going to behave together

If I was the friend from elementary school my heart would be broken. They've been friends for much longer and the college friend said with her whole chest that she wouldn't be in the wedding if she wasn't the maid of honor.

I would keep everybody their own body in consideration. Who cares if the dresses are different in shape or color. Then again here in the Netherlands it isnt such a big deal.

I have a close friend who I’ve known since she was born (same year as me) and I’ve known my closest friend since I was 16. In my early teens, if I thought about it, I would have immediately said my best friend would be my MOH, but she died when we were 15. Now, I have this friend from childhood (who’s pretty much family despite us not being blood relatives) and my closest friend. I want both of them by my side when I get married. I know who I would want as my MOH (although I might need to tweak that term a little) and who I’ll want as a bridesmaid. Fortunately, I am very sure they won’t put me through the stress this lady’s friends put her through. I know they won’t fight over that title or be upset if they do not have it. That’s how friends should be. The wedding is not about them or a measurement of who is better.

I think that's a shame she has to not have a maid of honor, but I understand her decision. At the end of the day she didn't need anymore stress then what she already have.
