Briggs & Stratton TURBO first ride 

That's the first small engine I've ever seen where I can hear the turbo spool

The poor transmission is louder than the turbo

Most would say: "Why?" I say: "Why not?"

All I could think about was the movie water boy . When his girlfriend tuned his lawn mower to go faster . But this looks fun

I believe the opposed twin is one of Briggs & Stratton’s best engines. Good choice.

I really want to put a turbo on a predator 212 engine and use a CVT. Once it’s tuned right, it would be insanely fast because the CVT would hold the engine right in the powerband.

I’m making a race mower and throwing an old generator turbo on it! Oh and that’s a sweet mower!👍

Growing up on my dads one acre property he had an old riding craftsman mower powered off a briggs motor from the 70's or 80's and it got worked hard. Left out in the elements really long UT winters etc with just a tarp over it. All I would do is change the oil put in a fresh battery the damn thing always fired up season after season for close to 20 years. Still ran when my dad sold the place I bet its still running strong. Anyway impressed with those old B&S motors and the old craftsman mowers.

you really should put the shrouds back on the sides, It's air cooled. the thing will overheat without the shrouds. you can damage the headgaskets if you keep them off. as they'll warp from cooling down/heating up consistantly.

A lot of the spooling sound is from the transmission I think

Hi! I need an advice since I got an opposite 18hp and I can't remember how I should assembly back the intake valve, the order of oil stem spring and retainer. Plus I need to know how bad can be that I made a govenor delete, since I can't assembly it back cause the thread for the pin(retainer) is shredded so needs I fresh thread to keep the governor assembly. Thank you in advance.
