That’s a beautiful home . That would be considered an upper middle class home . A typical middle class home usually has 3 bedrooms .2 1/2 baths . You can always install a wooden privacy fence 6-8 feet high if you want privacy. Congratulations on your 2,000 subscribers!🎉

We do have fences in the U.S., it just depends on the location. In California, they're very common.

I would say this is an upscale middleclass home. Certainly not a wealthy persons home. But it is very nice and would be a great family home. Price is tough to figure out. It just depends on location. In the midwest, where I live, this would sell for 3-400k. On the east or west coasts, it would be way over a million dollars. This is typical of my neighborhood. Oh, fences are not usually allowed in upscale neighborhoods. I have never had one, except when I had a pool.

I feel like to me this is an average home in Connecticut. People don’t understand certain parts of our country. We have all types of communities and different types of home. If this wasn’t Connecticut and this house was in Pennsylvania it may be a bigger deal.

you cant say stuff like that to a brit it confuses them, fences not being allowed in nice neighborhoods is a straight up lie. Im right by the wealthiest neighborhood in all of arizona and you’re hard pressed to even be able to see the houses when you drive by on the road

6 years ago in my area that home is $500,000. Now it's $1.4M. I bought my house for $980,000 in 2018. It is now worth $2.2M. Property is 6.3 acres. Has a solar farm that provides all electric needs with a battery that holds a week of usage. Main house is 8 beds 6 baths and 5,300sqft with 2 identical guest houses either wing of the property that are 3 beds 2 baths and 2,000sqft. All that to say, this is a NICE house that is unfortunately, well out of the price range of about 97% of Americans. To afford a house like that you need an annual household income of around $275,000-300,000 to qualify for the loan.

@@nickjreacts I live in a nice part of New York State and when Covid hit and a lot of work went remote people from the city with no clue what property should be worth moved up here and skyrocketed prices because they were paying $500k for little modular homes that could see a pond through some trees when those were $150k homes just a year prior.

Fences are very common. Most people want them especially if you have kids or dogs. But they arent standard with every house usually.

9:00 Craigslist is eBay but local. Most times you go physically pick up the item you bought. There are some people who get rid of damn near brand new furniture for free as long as you go pick it up. When I was in college I furnished my apartment out in Syracuse with some real swanky shit for only $200.

There are many Americans that live in similar size homes to the one in the video, but in all things it depends on a lot of different factors (I would say the house shown is much bigger than average). My family is about average median income and size for our area, ours is a 1960s house but it is about 2000 sq ft, 2-car garage, finished basement, 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bath, with a backyard about 50% of the one shown in this video. But when it comes to basements, it honestly depends on climate as well. I spent some time in Louisiana when I was younger, but hurricanes and flooding were a large. There, houses were more one-story and sprawling, without basements due to flooding. Which how damp Britain can be, I can see many areas not having them.

Where I live in the state of Pennsylvania this house would be considered a slightly above middle class house and it would sell for around $300,000 if it needed work you could probably get it for $200,000 if it was in an expensive suburb it could be $500,000 to $600,000.

That's the average upper middle class income home but in a different area of the country, you could get that same sized house for less money. We have fencing, some chain link some privacy but that's still a preference and not normal depending again on where you live. We don't have fencing either.

In the area of Washington I live, that would be probably a $600-800k house, but in other parts of the state it might be closer to twice that in price like in Seattle proper or its east suburbs.

If it's a suburb of NYC then more like 2 or 3. If it's in the northeastern corner of the state on the edge of Boston metro where it's rural then it could be fairly cheap.

My entire backyard has a tall wooden fence around it.. most houses in my subdivision do.. but you will find houses all across the United States that have them and don't have them there are just so many people in the United States to begin with that you will get all different kinds.. he could put up a fence around his backyard in this video if he wants to.. I mean you got a check with the city and talk to the neighbors first but yeah..

the fencing issue is entirely dependent on where you live. In Connecticut, where he is, or for most of New England generally the back yards don't have tall fenced in yards.

His house is not typical, his is upscale. The average house is more similar to mine which I sent you a photo of yesterday. I have some more exterior shots and some interior shots when we bought it before moving in that I could send but I don't want to inundate you with photos. Most people do not put the wooden fences in their back yards unless they have problems with their neighbors. They will at most put a chain link fence to contain children or pets. Wooden fences are expensive and are a pain to install, they require a post hole digger while a chain length fence you can just drive the metal post into the ground.

where I live in the states is low prices of homes and high pay.. so the average person makes 80k plus and easily have 6-8 bed room house. yeah we have smaller houses and people live in apartments but it is an awesome place to live.. If you can stand the snow and the cold.. hell it is may 1st and we got 3 inches of snow today

I’m not sure what the “average” home is if it’s an apartment, multi family home, single family etc but for Connecticut I think this is above average because most homes aren’t this big.

the first bathroom is a master bathroom attached to the master bedroom and the second bathroom is for all the other bedrooms to share such as guests staying there or your kids who have a bedroom there and so on and the second bathroom is also for guests to use who come visit "if you don't have a bathroom downstairs or the bathroom downstairs is occupied

I’m sorry that’s a standard home if you are a couple earning 100 thou and good credit you could have a house like that. I’m not saying everyone has this but many do live like this in America and that’s not wealthy.

Fences are must in back yards. A lot of areas don't even permit fence in the front of the house. It cheapens the area and makes it look as if it is a dangerous neighborhood.

This house is located in Connecticut. A lot of wealthy people who work in New York city commute from Connecticut. This a fancy house and in certain cities in Connecticut it could be between $30 to $50 million.

In Pennsylvania this would be considered a typical slightly upper middle class development home. Depending where you are you would be able to buy it for as low as $300,000 some areas you might have to spend $500,000 or $600,000. I have actually seen nicer houses sell for $200,000 at auction.

I just looked it up the average price of a single house in Idaho is $460,000. Many states the average price of the single houses under 200,000 and the average price of a single house Nationwide is around $350,000

This is pretty much your average development house in the suburbs there's millions of them across the country. I don't think they're anything special they are all over the place. In some states you can get this house for $200,000 other states maybe $500,000 and then some super expensive States were people overspend and are ripped off they might pay close to a million. The closer you get to a city the more expensive it will be if you're 100 mi from the city where you're deep in the mountains or the countryside you can get this house really cheap.
