Just a suggestion for a cowboy movie. The title is, Young Billy Young. A Robert Mitchum film from 1954 IIRC. I saw it for the first time myself last night and I'm 70. I think you'll like it.

I've got a small block 350ci (5.7L) V8, one of, if not, the most mass-produced engines ever. The sound when you open up the throttle is special, it's like music... A car enthusiast wanting to make his hotrod faster would take a supercharger off a Detroit two stroke diesel engine, something that was necessary for the engine to operate. They felt it'd be a good idea to bolt it to the top of a gasoline engine, two stroke diesels aren't much of a thing anymore, but they still make those same superchargers.

You can legit spend the day in the US basically never leaving your car. 1. Get in your car 2. Go through the drive thru banking or ATM 3. Get your oil changed while you wait in your car 4. Go get some donuts and coffee through the drive thru for breakfast. 5. Go get grocery pick-up and have them bring your grocery to you and put it in your car for you 6. Drive to through the pharmacy at the same grocery store for your medication. 7. Do some online shopping, then drive to the stores and do store pick up, where again, they bring your paid for items to your car and put them in your car for you 8. Grab some lunch through the drive thru. 9. Take your car through the drive through car wash 10. Drop off your letters at the drop off slot at the post office 11. Drop your library books off at the drop off slot at the library 12. Go get some dinner…at the drive thru.

Ok, I think you're confused. SHE is American living in France which is why she poled her friends in France for this list. When she says she comes "home" is coming back to America to visit her parents that's why her French hubby loves the glass sizes, lol. When she says "refined" she means bougie, lol. Sadly if fast food is all they're really eating when they visit, they're missing out on SOO much more food that actually MIGHT impress them, lol. On the car stair, some SUVs and trucks are higher from the ground so if you're short like me (or have mobility issues), you sort of have to "jump" in or pull yourself up using that bar on the inside of the roof or grabbing the steering wheel. Now some have side runners that are just part of the frame but others have what she's describing that will slide out when you open the door so it's easier to climb in and step down, lessening the distance from the ground to the floor board inside.

American sports venues are getting to the point that they're almost mini cities. When the Boston Orioles (a Major League Baseball team) got their new stadium, they put in a courthouse and jail. The St. Louis Cardinals (another MLB team) rebuilt their stadium like 10 years ago, and they had a multi-stage plan for an entire campus of services--apartments (some of which can look into the stadium and watch them play for free), almost a whole mini-mall of restaurants/sports bars/merch shops, and I think there's a final phase that will be office space so there could be people in St. Louis who live, work, and shop baseball 24-7.

The cowboy with his shotgun on his hip? I think she meant pistol. If fast food is what they want, fine. However, I'd prefer it if they'd give the ethnic foods a try, especially cuisines such as Navajo and Cajun/Creole, Basque, which are difficult to impossible to find there. Personally, I have fast food far less than monthly, and even then, it's not Mickey D's (McDonald's), but Chic-fil-A, Arby's, or something along that line. If the waitress was saying "Honey!", my guess would be that they were in the South, where it's not a "come on", but just their nature. I think you missed something she hinted at about cars: many are actually trucks, and some actually do have a step that comes out when you open the door, such as, maybe, a Ford F150.

That's because our cities are thousands of years old and they're made for humans NOT cars, they're made to be walkable, to have a personality and design, to be authentic and full and centralized, Unlike American cities which feels like the backrooms, not made for human activity but instead cars, just cars, highways, and UNNECESSARY parking lots (there's literally more parking lots area then HOUSING area) That's really sad that you need a car to go EVERYWHERE.... And let's even talk about how American cities are designed for working places while residents live so far away and even schools are far and also the bad infrastructure and ofc the lack of public transportation, in Europe and china/Japan/korea, public transportation is top tier and it's more eco friendly and saves time because thier cities are more Officient and connected

How big are the options for cars in the United States? Very big. my friend has a seven seater, Looks like a van, and her back seats can go down into the floor to make A space for groceries and for other things you might need to put in your car like luggage. I've always lived in San Francisco where there are 3 different types of public transportation That are very good so I've actually never had a car even now that I have moved to a small place in a small town. Warning, Dear Luis, we all love you. The fast food in the states is deadly and full of chemicals and fats. The same fast food places you are eating, at home, have fewer chemicals because your government is smart to ban them. HOWEVER, you are still eating WAY too much fast food. AND, IN YOUR 30's, you could start high blood pressure issues and cholesterol in your heart arteries . No lie. Final warning, Fast food in the states can AND will give your English born body, DIARRHEA. No joke. Plus a big cup or glass of Coke, (we have a lot of corn syrup as a sweetener here) England doesn't . Again, Soda, coke, fizzy drinks, etc. Are seriously unhealthy and contributes to putting on fatty weight. It's poison, truly. Try it, don't over consume, OR you'll never leave the toilet. "Taco Bell", get your runs at the border " Taco trucks with authentic cooks are well worth trying without getting sick. Spend more time eating in local restaurants, not chain food. Plenty of Americans would gladly feed you home cooked meals. A BBQ or Cook Out would be fantastic. You have fans all over this country that would love to cater to you. I'm in Connecticut, 3 adult sons in the area and the oldest is 41, a master chef, including BBQ. My youngest lives in Maine, a 2 and a half hour drive. A beautiful place. Boston is an awesome city in Massachusetts. You could plan each trip according to different regions of the country. All you have to do is ask and research any of us Americans. Little Known fact, Star Trek TOS and Knight Rider were based on Westerns. And things like Zorro were created to get more west than the American west ;) On the drink refills many people like to make a mix, with the fountain right there you can mix Rootbeer, Dr Pepper, Sprite, Cola, and all the rest available at the moment however you want for a unique flavor that might never be made by just one company. I even put the lemonade and tea into my cola etc mixture. Funny thing about cars, I saw in a recent video that a license plate is registered to a driver in europe. In USA its frequently licensed to the individual car because few drivers have only one car in USA. Its common to have a car and a truck. And many Trucks have a step to help board ;)
