T-Wolves fan as well. My concern now is with the A-Rod group dropping out Glen is going to ask for new stadium money. I don't think he gets it. They better not wind up moving to Seattle or Vegas. It would break my heart.
Anthony Edward’s reminds me of Michael Jordan which is insane but it’s true. His dunks and post moves are just like Jordan. They have the same build and mannerisms too.
Our big 3 are Anthony Edwards, Karl Anthony Towns and Rudy Gobert. Plus veteran point guard Mike Conley and a bunch of other great young players. My favorite is Naz Reid.
The best thing about this young man is his personality and attitude. He's always positive, joking around and has a smile on his face. Never takes a game off due to BS injuries like seems to be the case for all other NBA players these days. Has that competitive desire to play and win. So if you pay a shitload on tickets, odds are you see him play.
As an Atlanta native, warms my heart seeing his success. The state of Georgia produces many great American football players but not as many great hoopers. In the NBA currently, we have 2 great players in Edwards and Jalen Brown of the Boston Celtics. He indeed played for UGA as Aiden mentioned.
I was shocked when ant came to Georgia considering how bad our basketball team was back then. Shame he didn’t get a full season because of COVID. He was amazing to watch in person
I live in Minnesota and get to watch this guy all the time. What a treat ! there is no weakness to his game and his attitude is awesome. I expect Ant to be the next face of the NBA
Minnesotan also. Ant mostly needs consistency and to stop with the “stupid” turnovers. I also wish he’d stop protesting being fouled in the way he does. Refs don’t wanna be called out for their BS like that. Switch it up and communicate with them by telling them what to look for without the abrasiveness.
@@williemckinneyjr1384 Ant wasn't like that during his first couple years in the league. I think he learned those bad habits from KAT. Towns is always whining and complaining to the refs about fouls. It drives me absolutely bonkers. I believe KAT's poor behavior towards the officials, kinda rubbed off on Ant. That's a major criticism I have with Coach Finch also. He allowed Towns to set bad examples for the younger players. Finch should've addressed Towns behavior towards the refs a long time ago.
He def changes direction in a way that reminds me of iverson, he flies like MJ, throws down dunks like Blake griffin and Shawn kemps baby, pivots like Kobe, his bag is crazy
You guys have to react to Klay Thomson’s 37 point 3rd quarter with the Golden State home announcers calling it. He set the record for most points scored in a quarter in NBA history, and he didn’t miss a single shot the whole 3rd quarter. It’s the most impressive scoring performance in NBA history. Very worth it.
X2!! And most of the damage was done in less than nine minutes. THE most insane scoring barrage in the history of sport! (P.S.. Don't call him "Ant-Man". 🤙)
22 years old, 6'4" 230lbs, 42" vertical, high bball IQ for his age. The most common comparison I hear people talking about is that he's a bigger, more athletic modern day Dwayne Wade. I don't think there are any perfect comparisons for Ant...he's a complete package and plays much bigger than 6'4". I see can see similarities to Steve Francis and Vince Carter.
@@Mektek19 We all know nba players listed heights are not their actual heights. Very common thing. Dwade was listed 6'4" 220. He's actually 6'3"...he even commented on the fact a few years ago. He wasn't definitely not "all muscle" lmao dude was had like 20% body fat in his prime. Ant is a true 6'4" (with speculations that he has grown since the combine) and currently weighs 230lbs with considerable less body fat than Dwade had. Dwade probably had a quicker first step yeah...but faster (baseline to baseline)...i doubt it.
@@lazyblazer Wade looked more ripped than Ant in his prime. Not sure what you are basing the body fat percentages on. Go look at a third year Wade. Ant is listed at 6’4” how do we know he isn’t a tad bit shorter too.
Paul Peirce's signature was his step back where he would drive his shoulder into the defender to create separation and more often than not he got the foul call despite being the one who actually commited the foul
Edwards will be the face of the NBA in a year or two, if he isn't already. Every play is a potential highlight. He's got the total package, good size, good shooting, handles the ball well, great hops, loves to play basketball, hates to lose. He likely won't be Michael Jordan 2.0, but he almost certainly can be Michael Jordan lite.
What’s funny about Ant is he straight up said he doesn’t care about playing basketball professionally. He would have rather played football professionally. You gotta like someone who just doesn’t give a fuck
Antman is a force of nature on the floor! Whoever does your thumbnails (Aiden?) is a secret Miami Heat fan i see. 😁 This is at least the third one with Miami front n center. 🏀🔥 #heatnation
Ant is 22 and won't be 23 until next season. He made having season tickets totally worth holding onto. I was going to get rid of them because of covid but because of him I said I'll hold onto them. Watching him 40 times a year is truly insane. I still don't believe the things he does sometimes.
Urinating Tree just uploading the haters guide to this MLB season. Thanks for uploading so much lately James Harden was the first to “perfect” the step back but Luka would be the best nowadays in my opinion
He's got Rudy Gobert, the defensive player of the year, Karl Anthony-Towns, Michael Conley, And.....drumroll.....Jaden McDaniels!! There are memes, it's a whole thing. Jaden is incredible defensively, but his skill doesn't show up on a highlight reel. I'm sure footballers get it....
If 🐜 played in the early 00’s they would have drafted him out of highschool.. nowadays you have to play one year of d1 ball to even be considered to be drafted.. He’s the closest thing to Kobe I’ve seen in a long time and I’m a nuggets fan.. 😅
Gobert, Nickeil Alexander-Walker, Jaden McDaniels, KAT, Mike Conley, Slow-Mo f the haters, two words Naz Reid, Marcus Morris, Luka Garza, J Mac, just to name a couple.
As a shooting guard i would compare him to vince carter, kobe Bryant, or MJ. Hes very young but he has VERY HIGH expectations. The future of the league.
