I truly thank the LORD for my Baptist roots. I just wish I paid attention in church when I was younger. I'm away from home and my home church, all of the elders are gone, including my grandaddy who would lead devotion sometimes, and I just miss the old church services of the 80's and 90's so so much.

This is the way we was taught to sing hymns when I was younger. It still lives in my spirit this day.

I have unforgettable memories of singing like this in our church in Louisiana. It goes to the core of my soul and feeds it strength with the spirit of our ancestors. .

My family's Baptist church used to sing this way when I was a kid. I had no idea what this was and I couldn't figure out how to follow along. Thank you for having this up to remind me of this.
