I know what you are thinking, “NO! Not the wiring!” Suck it up Princess, bad wiring can sap your battery or burn your Bronco down.
The wires on these trucks are 40-50 years old, what you are looking for is ANY exposed wires, cheap wire connectors, or electrical tape. If you find these things, fix them ASAP!
My Bronco was riddle with bad hack jobs to the electrical system and nothing worked right. So many home grade connectors were used. Eventually I replaced my wire harness and I have been thankful I did. But you don’t need to go that far right now. For now, any areas with electrical tape or bad connections should be soldered together and use automotive shrink tubing to finish the job. Especially check the areas where you are having electrical problems already.
