Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the Brooks Glycerin 21, Jay! It's great to hear your honest opinions about the shoe, especially with your experience in running. The comfort and cushioning seem to be standout features for you, which is fantastic. It's also interesting to know how you've transitioned to lower drop shoes to prevent injuries. Your insights will surely help others looking for running shoe recommendations. Keep up the great work with your reviews, and I'm looking forward to more insights from you!
The 20 was listed at 35mm and I’ve seen that the 21 has 2mm more that would put it at 37/27 with the 10mm drop. I loved the 20 and picked up a pair of the 21’s to try
They look nice. 10mm is same as my Nike Pegasus which was too much bounce for me. Those will be interesting for you to test. I wore Brooks Beast long ago which was a huge shoe
I did undergone Achilles Tendonitis Surgery few years back and had tried numerous shoes but Brooks ghost 14 worked quite well for me, whereas it’s not available here in our location…Any idea about these ?
I tried these on. I’m too used to the Altra/Topo toe boxes. And the midsole felt like a brick under my heel. Personally I liked the glycerin 18 the best. I tried the 19 and got blisters.
It is pretty stretchy and comfortable. It feels pretty secure, but probably a little less so than the regular model. It actually seems to breathe pretty well.
