Oh my goodness! I was so frustrated when my machine wouldn't perform the alignment. Nowhere did I find that your paper needs to be 12" wide except for you! I'm so grateful. Now my images have the proper outline. Thanks so much!
August 2024. Just wanted a refresher on how to adjust the cutting blade. I found out something extra I did not know! The scanning area can be set to 12" x 6" . What a revelation! Thankyou so much!
Hi! I've been seeing a vertical black line in the middle of scanned images, on the machine's screen. Do you know how this can be resolved? No matter what I scan, that line seem to appear. Thanks!

@@PaperedChef Hello! Thank you so much for your response. The video was so helpful. After I removed the tray, there was indeed two small pieces of sticker papers. Once I removed them, the vertical black line is gone! Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Great video, but also this is why I want to smash my brother sdx125 with a baseball bat. I even printed and used the registration marks from Adobe illustrator where my artwork is created thinking it would scan more accurately, and even after resetting the alignment it still doesn't cut with enough precision that I could sell the items I was making
Please don’t give up. I’ve often repeated the process several times before it was perfect. Be sure there isn’t a light shining in the side of your machine. Side lights throw off my alignment. Hang in there.
@@PaperedChef thanks for the words of encouragement, but since I've upgraded my Mac to os13, the scan n cut link plugin is no longer compatible with Adobe Illustrator and has rendered my machine unusable unless I revert back to an Intel based computer.....
This hasn’t worked for me I’ve done it atleast 50 times and brother are no help 😭 I’m this close to returning it , I’ve only had it 3 days and it hasn’t cut a single one right yet
