I built up a Super Clod Buster recently, havent driven it other than in the house as I don't want to take it outside in the wet yet, but the steering seems quite sloppy. Bump steers a lot, and the thing doesn't really seem to know where it wants to go a lot of the time. I think I could tighten up the servo savers a bit more, I did get a beefier steering servo, so it could take that. I could change to a servo on each axle, but that is an expense. I'm just not thrilled with the handling at the moment, so if anyone has any tips I'd love to hear them, thanks!

@t6finch that's awesome you got a clodbuster! Pretty much the only way to get really good steering is to convert to on axle servo mounts. The fun part about owning a clod is modifying it little by little

@@clodbusted1776 I think the way to go will be on axle servos. I looked the kits up today and they aren't at all expensive, even for smart carbon fibre ones. That's one of the reasons I got a clod, because there is a huge following for them and you can mod them so much! Also when I was really young someone at school had one and I loved it, but couldnt afford one then. But now I have one and am very pleased! THX for replying, buddy :)

I want to get into crawling too I have a carisma subaru brat that I want to start modifying. Those old esp chassis are very strong I've never had one fail I wouldn't hesitate to put brushless power to it

@@clodbusted1776 i have Carisma SCA -E1 Ford F150. A real killer when modified. Used a Hobbywing Fusion SE 1800 KV with a 13 tooth pinion.

That's a awesome Idea I could build a track behind the shop if I move my monster truck trailer and use one of the shops as the pit area

Yes I prefer to run sensors whenever possible
