Back in 2019, a short drive back to Randy's offices turned into a nightmare. Right before the launch of our first ever Savage Rally, myself and Sanjeev got pulled over for according to the cop "Challenging to a race." At first, we thought we were just going to get a nonsense ticket, but not long afterwards, the Ferrari got impounded, and really messed up our launch day for the rally. Due to some mismatching paperwork, the cops assumed the car was stolen.
Today, I break down what led up to all of this, the fallout, and the update to the ticket almost 2 years later.

That cop was 100% angry that some people were chilling in a ferrari enjoying life while he had to collect tickets on the night patrol. He wanted to ruin your days to the maximum the moment he heard the car.

Was driving through California in my Supra after a dinner with some friends. A side show style meet and bunch of dirtbikes took over the roads. So I did a u-turn over double solids and got lit up.

Same thing that's going on with me almost at 5 years now court date was a year out then covid hit eventually ended up dealing with it in online court and license suspended another year even though it already was for 3 years hoping to start to probably have to start my license from the beginning again

Currently facing five window tickets in Fort Lauderdale from one stop . Where cops were just standing in the road stopping every car that went by for anything they can . in the middle of spring break when you can’t even cross the street safely they’re worried about window tint Fort Lauderdale sucks

I had to fight a no license plate ticket with my C7 vette. The front license plate! I looked at the cop and dropped 2 cops names that worked with him that DO NOT HAVE FRONT LICENSE PLATES. As he says he just enforces the law not write them! I took it to court and the judge wasn’t gonna hear it and that’s when I looked at his stenographer and said HE Y YOUR GOD DAMNED STENOGRAPHER DRIVES A C6 corvette your bailiff drives a C7 corvette and u have pictures that neither of them HAVE FRONT PLATES! The bailiff spoke up and said there’s no mounts on either side at for front license plate . 🤣CHA CHING DISMISSED. But it was advised that as long as it’s displayed in the window that’s as good as being on the front bumper!

We were on the freeway in San Diego in a grey Nissan 300ZX, and another grey 280ZX pulls beside me. The car had two older gentleman in it, one of whom looked to be asleep! The driver challenges me, and we're off. These two cars are not very fast, but just for fun, we're racing. I see the Highway Patrol lights behind me coming up, and decide to get off the freeway. I get off thinking we're ok, but then I see that same HP forcing other cars to the side so he can get through, I'm thinking that guy thinks I robbed a bank or something! He stops me, and is shaking like a leaf, so bad I actually felt sorry for the guy as he was obviously past his prime. Anyway he proceeds to write me a ticket for hitting the cement freeway barrier, and I say to him I didn't hit the barrier so he looks curiously at the front fender, and realizes I indeed did not hit anything. He wrote me for the wrong thing! I was speeding, probably 90-100, but he didn't seem to care about that, probably didn't see it. Anyway, he wouldn't take the ticket back, but rather told me to show up for court to contest it, and he wouldn't appear. A month later I show up at the courthouse, and low and behold he's there. When called, we both get up, and I'm thinking that prick is going to try and actually get me found guilty, but he didn't, he told the judge it was a mistake, and that was that. I was racing so didn't have too many regrets about the bogus ticket I received as otherwise I would have been a lot worse off, and been paying higher rates just like Jimbo!😁👍😎✌🗽

As a rule of thumb never pass a supercar that is hot dogging it because they have low visibility out the rear and never expect anything to have enough huevos power to pass them. Your best defense is always your dash camera unless it is incriminating.

Wow, I thought the system in Canada was bad but at least here. If you get a ticket. It doesn't go onto your record until you pay it or go to court and then goes on your record. Looks like in the states you are guilty until proven innocent.

Not too far from you in Hagerstown I got a speed contest ticket. Complete BS, me and a buddy were just making a U turn and I was following him back to a parking lot. The cop lied in court and said they saw smoke from our tires, for one we never stopped to accelerate so I have no idea how 165hp cars were rolling at 40mph and burning out lol. Plus my Probe GT at the time had a slipping clutch. Complete BS, ive done dumb shit before, but that instance there was zero racing going on. Lost my license for 7mos when the charge carried over to WV!

Dude those cops in the northeast sound like they're on absolute dumbfuck juice from some of these stories I hear lol. I've been pulled over multiple times down here in SC in various sports cars and exotic cars and gotten off every time after clearing up the misconception. One time right after I got done doing twice the speed limit a cop pulled me over and a black guy in a camo wrapped, straight piped, charger already looks bad and I got pulled for no plates, I said it was on dealer plates and that the plate was in the back and the cop ended up putting the plate on for me. From the way it sounds, they woulda pulled me out of the car in maryland. Or the time I got called in twice for weapons in the middle of bumfuck nowhere during a photoshoot with a gtr(we didn't even have guns on us at the time, video on my channel lol) or the time we got called in with a 900hp turbo s doing launches on a main road after rev bombing the shit out of a business on that road with a 2000hp gtr. Just hearing some of these stupid ass stories from the DMV and surrounding states have me feeling like I would have done jail time by now lol. Literally the only time I've ever been pulled over for something legit was in my daily tacoma when I taxi stopped through a 4 way stop sign at an empty intersection and I STILL got the ticket thrown out.

@@PGTBrow yeah these cops sounded like they went into NPC mode. They spammed a bunch of IF/THEN actions harder than an excel sheet. You would think that they would let them go after fully assessing the situation after the guy who owns the car pulls up with the title lol. Like I get that their sergeant told them one thing, but you would think that he would give them the benefit of the doubt too lol.

You can take all of this and send it to the department as a bill and by law they have to pay it. I know it sounds completely ridiculous, but if it’s incompetence on their end, and it caused you any kind of distress, distress as in having your car towed and then having to get it out of impound, they have to pay you back. Before the keyboard attorney’s start yes this is exactly what my attorney told me to do and Wilmington NC had to reimburse me $10,301.

I wouldn't say mine is super BS, but the day after, I got my Brand New 2023 challenger. I drove down to the dealership to give them the 2nd set of keys to the challenger I had traded in for the upgrade. On my way back home, I was speeding, in the sense that the speed limit was 65, and I was doing about 77. Well, another challenger behind me sped up to me and got clocked on radar at about 92ish. Cop pulled me over and claimed I was speeding at the 92. I sadly hadn't installed my dash cam at that time and couldn't fight it since I was speeding by definition. Cop was nice enough to mark it from criminal to just civil for the 77. However, I got an almost $300 ticket for going with the flow of traffic where I live.

8 or 10 years ago I was Pulled over. At 150 in a 924 Porsche. 88 When to pay ticket The officer asks if you drive the car. And came back tore my ticket up. That's a good one there.
