@@thiccaf6541 It really was. I dont believe in putting idols on a pedestal. Not even BTS, who seem like the nicest people. What they did in that clip as well as others was horrible.
I hate it too. Every time that clip comes on, the one where they are rating each other, I cringe. You can clearly see how hurt Jimin was always coming in last place. I know the guys were young at the time, but that type of teasing is really hurtful. I wish they would stop getting those questions from fans. Anyone, regardless of fame, would be hurt by that. Not only is it hurtful, it's traumatizing and scarring. It only takes one nasty comment to set you off on a neverending path to feeling low about oneself and to have self- image issues. I don't know what happened behind the scenes, but it is clear that these comments ate at him constantly and it would've been nice if he had the support from the members instead of the insults. There have been at least three other clips I've seen where he was called ugly and fat by the guys. I know they were young and didn't mean to be hurtful, as guys tend to show bravado and make a joke out of everything, but not everyone is going to be able to shrug it off as a joke. The hurtful comments stay with you forever. Looking back, I'm sure they see it was wrong, abd they've supported him since then, but definitely these clips are difficult to watch.
@@visualaddicted5264 I’m an obese grandma and Jimin is far from fat. He’s adorable and my Libra bias. Sorry not sorry but JHOPE is my bias. Though I only listen to pre 2017 content
Jimin journey is really motivating because it developed from self hatred , insecurities and negativity to self love and positivity. We often start our weight loss journey as self hatred of our body leading vicious cycle and get stuck and deteriorate ourself. But , Bts taught us by LOVE YOURSELF message to work on us . Jimin is a big part of it. We truly love our Jiminie for being too inspirational and comfort us .💜💜💜💜💜 Wow so much likes , thanks . I hope we can find happiness in whatever form we are . I think our happiness and well being matters the most not some crazy standards. Also recently I got to know , Jimin eats healthy and go on frequent diets to maintain his weight because as ballet or for his performance extra weight cause some hindrances so I think he thinks maintain as required. I think we all agree for dancing and performance weight some has effect on it. As long as he is happy and healthy, we should also be happy for him. 😊
as a 2015/16 army, i remember the constant talk during the run and bs&t eras abt how much weight he had lost and how concerned armys - esp international armys - were. i also remember when the interview where he said he only ate one meal in 10 days came out, it was like confirmation of what we were all kinda fearing i guess (how extreme his diet was), and it was just a really hard time as an army - because not only did we have confirmation of the extent of jimins dieting but this was also the time where there was so much hate regarding bts everywhere (korean media, western media, esp social media) and also so many fanwars that armys were constantly in the middle of - i really cant even imagine how jimin and the members felt through all of this. also as someone who has struggled with and been hospitalised for anorexia myself, one of my biggest fears was always people finding out and trying to help by offering me food ect because i found it very triggering and exposing, of course im not saying jimin went through this but i guess i worried about him in that sense aswell. i really cant imagine constantly hearing "gain weight" "we're worried about you" "please eat" ect from tens of thousands of people everyday while he seemed to also be going through this cycle of self hatred and criticism - and through all this, still receiving endless hate and insults from antis. of course we are only fans and we only know the members and their struggles through what they choose to share with us, and we will never truly know what he went through and the extent of it :(( anyways im not expecting anyone to read this little rant but it felt good to write, i love jimin and all the members dearly and always wish the best for them and hope they stay healthy :))
i became an army in early 2016, and you're so right, the bs&t era was absolutely exhausting, i remember how he looked after and before performances, he deserved another treatment through the whole of it, it felt as if we as a fandom tried to "help" him the wrong way as you mentioned, i am so glad you wrote this because i remember every single interview and fan war and how he talked about certain things on his lives, it also was a huge era for bts (and for bts antis...) it had to be so rough for them
@@xnoodlezx it was on the show ‘please take care of my refrigerator’ in 2017 :)) here’s a link to the part i’m talking abt, jimin mentions it at abt 2:15 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-6j0OUjmCuZI.html
Honestly, he got backlash for talking about his diet but i applaud him for it. Many idols talk abt it as if its "the secret to weight loss" or as if its normal, Jimin always, ALWAYS, said that it was unhealthy and he didn't recommend it from the very first time he brought it up. He seems to be focusing a bit more on gaining muscle (I'm assuming based on his arm muscles lmao) but he seems to be extremely confident, and not that forced-feeling sense of confidence from 2013 when he was making jokes about being the "attractive one", but genuine confidence, the kind that begins inwards and radiates outwards, where you can tell he is secure within himself. It hasn't been easy, but he has most definitely become a healthy, graceful, beautiful swan filled with a deserved sense of confidence and self-assurance, and he deserves no less. What a brilliant role model. edit: when I talk about making jokes about being attractive, that in itself is not a bad thing- look at Jin, for instance, he jokes about it too but it comes across as a genuine part of his personality and humour and I do believe that he seriously thinks he is handsome (and he is). However, when jimin did it in 2013 it didn't feel authentic because it's not quite "him", you know? it felt a bit forced, but i genuinely think he believes he is handsome now.
As a newer army with an ed I rlly appreciate his transparency, although it’s not his responsibility. It’s one thing to know that your idol has a diagnosis similar to your own, but hearing the way Jimin talks abt himself and food, and listening to Lie, I can see myself in it. It’s such a deep connection. On one hand I’m heartbroken that he struggles with food, but on the other watching him recover gives me more motivation to do so:)
@@applespotty2232 Hi! I just wanted to say Jimin has actually never revealed to have been diagnosed with something to ARMY; Even if he does have an ed, we should refrain from saying he has a diagnosis since nothing was confirmed, because that may spread a lot of misinformation for new army's! Thanks!
@@keyboardsmash1231 oh mb i didn't mean to imply he had a diagnosis, i know he hasn't confirmed it. i just meant that i feel a stronger connection with the way he talks about food than a celebrity that simply discloses they have a diagnosis but doesn't elaborate beyond that
@@keyboardsmash1231 like for instance if i'm not mistaken demi is known to have (or had) bulimia, but i don't know much more abt the situation than that so it's not as much of a connection. (although they might've disclosed more abt their ed, i'm not a demi fan lol but that's the only example i could think of 😭)
This is sad and hearing him referrer to himself as a pig is heartbreaking. I'm a new Army and didn't know about Jimin's struggle with his weight. Sadly I'll bet they all have their own struggles and yet they work hard to keep the good music and visuals coming. 💜
Yeah they all except V have played with dieting which is what most Kpop idles do. Jimin went on one crazy diet and he admitted how stupid it was. For awhile Jimin stop working out so his body would be more of a dancers body instead of really muscular and that's why he appeared slimmer than in the beginning, but he's always been very slim except his face. Also as he got older he lost what people call "baby fat". In my opinion I never thought he struggled with weight, but knew what type of shape he wanted and once that was achieved he stop dieting and made healthier choices when eating. Don't believe every video you see cause usually it's filtered through the eyes of the one making the video and usually they give misinformation. I've been Jimin biased since his debut as BTS main dancer.
Some antis and toxic solo stan/shippers still calls him that. Its a good thing that all the members truly love each other and are supportive of one another. I started with BTS having Jimin as my least favorite but learning about him as I journeyed through their past works and videos of their lives that they shared with their fans made me love him the most now. I can surely say he is my bias now along with Suga. I am also a fairly new army just 5 months short of being a 1 year old army. Please enjoy your journey with them.
@@beautifulone7285 Jimin was never slim as you say and his dancer body is more on the toned side with well defined muscles when he was still in Busan Art School. He became a trainee but did not have an idol physique predebut days(even Suga called him chubby) and early years and he did looked too thin when he started with his diet. Although he said he wanted to be just lean and slim I don't think he was in a good state of mind at that time as to how he sees his body. His body at present is much better and he does look healthier now.
It hits you a little harder after watching FACE's promo videos where he once again talks about the 50Kg limit. And compared weeks later he seems to be getting back to a healthy weight. It saddens me deeply that he still has to deal with this, although I understand that the pressure not only from the music industry but also from Korean society makes it difficult for anyone to heal or maintain themselves out of toxic standards, especially with the return of trends from the 2000s. I hope that not only he was, but all idols, artists and people going through health problems can find themselves in a healthy way without the need for something so extreme, dangerous and painful. May in the future this become just a forgotten painful memory, and only the love and care of those around you can revitalize you. Hopefully the best moment will come, 2016 was a very intense and terrible period for BTS and ARMY, may we walk a better and more comfortable path 💜
Thank you I was looking for a comment after FACE because yes he was very skinny, and only a few months after the end of his promotion he gained muscles shockingly fast (when he did Tony Montana in D-Day encore). In a JK's live when he asked Jimin to come live with him, Jimin answered (not exactly his words but same idea) "no I can't show myself like that" (I assume he was referring about his weight) but even if it's not the case it shows he still cares a lot about his public appearance even in 2023... I hope this time he will take inspiration from Jungkook because in this aspect he has a better attitude 🥹💜
This made me cry knowing how much he has struggled to become the person that he is today. These so called toxic fans should be neutralized! Who needs them ?!! Even today I see hate towards him!! I mean how can one hate this beautiful and humble person ?!! Haters! Go find something else to hate! Leave him. We love him and that’s enough!!
Even I see haters in this comment section too... I swear they are heartless creatures... I think jimin is very well treated by outside fandom... You know many celebrities and franchise were praised jimins talent and beauty.. I swear armies are his biggest haters.. Ofc not all but v jk solo stans and taekookers lmao.. They always put such harsh words on him.. Heartless

I just love Jimin. He has the sweetest heart and soul. It breaks my heart that he worried so much about gaining or losing weight. Even worse I hate that people would hate him for being too skinny or too overweight. Everyone's weight goes up and down. I hope Jimin found the perfect balance for himself and not others. He is beautiful inside and out. To me Jimin is the sweetest angel on earth and I just want him to be happy with himself. Jimin you are perfect!!!!!!!

I think he's beautiful and hot. and I like him as he is.. a beautiful hot cute boy..🔥🔥🥰🥰❤️❤️💖💖😘😘. yes I absolutely agree with your comment though... yes i do...
a lot of armys really like to say he's 'naturally' slim and brush everything under the rug while encouraging him to eat and rest well and they don't like to pay attention to his years of showing dangerous behaviors in order to achieve a certain look... i hope he continues to truly prioritize his health !!!! and i hope all the armys who praise his 'natural' body remember that it may be somewhat natural, but is also a result of a lot of work on his part which is both a testament to his determination and a reason to not overdo the praise for his body, since it can give the impression that he has to keep it looking a certain way in order to receive love thanks for the vids and ofc jimin as always is such a wonderful singer so it was lovely to hear him in the clips
What nobody is realizing is, that Jimin's body was always muscular and fit, even before he joined Bighit. All this crap started when so called Army's who had other biases and was jealous of Jimin, as well as anti's were saying foul things to him like "your fat and ugly", which he was neither. Unfortunately, with constantly hearing this from these evil, filthy morons, he started to believe he needed to lose weight to make the fandom happy......what was sad to, was the fact that Bighit didn't protect him from this bullshit!
@@mrsprite399 it comes down to pure jealousy and obviously they have so much self hatred they have to take it out on those who are successful, popular and gorgeous, which they are not!
omg this. i hate when people say he had a "glow up" from debut particularly surrounding his weight. he's beautiful regardless, a number on the scale shouldn't have to be proof of that.
My heart is hurting whenever I think of the members feeling hurt💔 Jimin is and was always perfect as he is/was. ❤️ Jimin, you are and will always be the light of my life. I hope you are feeling good now❤️
I have a LOT of respect and admiration for Jimin. He is one of these fabulous achievers with incredible willpower. Nothing was given to him. He knew what he wanted and he did everything to get there. I don't know anyone who would not like to change "something" about themselves. 80% of us do nothing...however Park Jimin didn't hesitate. He is fantastic!
As a baby army I remember looking through the MVs and performance from oldest to newest. Except for the extreme abs (it was so defined and covered in tanner!) from the No More Dream era, I hardly noticed Jimin's body changes. What really stands out is his stage presence, his charisma, his talent. It was never his body fat percentage or abs that made Jimin special. I wish someone could've told him that when he was eating one meal a day. I wish he knew.
I was actually waiting for this video. Watching, I felt the surge of panic that was surrounding Jimin during 2016. I still remember the bodyshaming regarding him losing his abs 2015. There's awareness now, but even in 2016-2017, it actually took a look time for people to realize that Jimin was suffering a severe eating disorder. I remember how uncomfortable it felt watching their BS&T MV reaction. During this time, Jimin criticized himself every chance he got and you could feel the concern from the other members always praising him. Jimin practiced his Lie performance but wasn't happy with his performance. When the members watched their debut stage, Jimin wasn't happy and nostalgic but self-critical and filled with regret. Fans treated his 10 day diet as a phase, something to imitate or jole about. They compared it to Momo's ice diet, except Momo was forced, while Jimin was suffering ED for a long time. Despite not being considered one of the visual holes in the group, the pressure on Jimin was insane. It feels good to see he finally seems more stable now and has a lot of support from his parents and the other members. Jimin was in a really serious situation, right in the public eye, and many people didn't even bat an eye because he's a guy. But he said he would be drinking by himself, hate himself and have dark thoughts. It's scary. It's a miracle how people can trivialize and overlook such extreme red flags. I wish Jimin the very best and hope he remains happier and satisfied with himself, his talent and his hard work. I'm so proud seeing how far he's come and that he accepted help and comfort from the outside and did a lot of self-reflecting. This is a very difficult cycle to break free of.
I know you mean well, but you need to stop "diagnosing" JM...you don't know him and I'm pretty sure you're not professionally trained. So inappropriate fr.
@@e0n555 bro i've had an eating disorder and with the amount of symptoms and behaviors jimin displayed, it's not hard to tell. i'm not being disrespectful, jimin himself admitted his mindset was unhealthy and obsessive. extreme dietinng and extreme dieting for over a year with self-deprecating thoughts? jimin is picture book for ed and thank god he recovered well. he can be a role model for fans who are struggling with the same and want to get better. it is not disrespectful to worry and think someone may have had an ed... why do you think it's insulting or disrespectful? maybe your mindset is the problem.
@@hoseokismyhope3351 I'm sorry you suffered, but the empathetic thing would be for fans to not project and make super invasive commentary about idols. The Golden rule would be nice.
y’all gotta let this discourse go 💀 jimin is 100% healthy and happy now and its time to stop bringing the past up as if he isn’t a grown man fully aware of whats best for him
Jimin is looking healthy but I have seen many videos of him Starving himself on 2022. Search up "Jimin is on diet again" and you will see it on jeon faizas channel
It's so heartbreaking to look back at the early days, when Jimin was probably an absolutely normal weight for a boy his age, and hear him calling himself fat. He was still maturing and the expectation for him to look like a man right out of the gate is such a lot of pressure for a child. I also think back and feel sorry, not only for Jimin, but Jungkook too, who was always put in a position where he had to rank the members looks. Knowing how much he loves all his brothers it must have been awful to constantly be made to "rank" his members looks while knowing the toll it took on Jimin's mental health. I'm just glad that Jimin seems happy and healthy these days, and has even put on a bit more muscle which I'm happy about not for aesthetic reasons, but because gaining more strength may be improving the chronic shoulder and back issues he's had.
I agree with what you are saying. For someone at the tender age of 17 to grow up too quickly to fit a manly figure can greatly warp their self-perception. They suddenly become so fixated on morphing themselves into an unrealistic standard, even if they have not reached that stage of their life. Then, they become dissatisfied that they do not meet it and seek harmful ways to achieve it. Years of pressure to represent a desirable image that does not reflect who they could become can be hard to unravel and retrain the mind to think more positively. But I commend Jimin's mental strength and integrity to undergo his recovery process to heal and improve his mental health. I also wonder why Kpop variety shows always promote these rankings among members in groups when they can be damaging to the idols' fragile mental state and self-perceptions. I, too, get concerned that the comments the members make can affect Jimin's views of his body image and weight, but despite all of this, I understand that they are compelled to do it to create entertaining and stimulating content for viewers.
"Why do so many fans worry about me? Don't worry." This really broke my heart; how does he expect us to not worry, we look up to him, obviously we'll worry I'm glad he's realized how harsh he has been on himself both physically and mentally, over the years. Even though, this has made him stronger and more enduring, his diet and lifestyle were extremely dangerous, to the point he underwent so many drastic changes in so little time. Please take care of yourself, Jimin; nothing's more important than your health and wellbeing! 💜

As an Army I don't care if any of the seven members are "skinny", "muscular", "fat", or whatever as long as they are healthy and happy with their body and life. Like seriously the body changes with the amount of work and stress. How on earth can people expect them to maintain and remain the same? Seriously... Jimin was and is always perfect as he is. He didn't and still doesn't need to change or worry about his looks/weight/height,... JUST BE YOURSELF, JIMIN, THEN YOU GET REAL FANS WHO ACCEPT U HOW U ARE!
Everyone needs to realize that this behavior with his weight probably started way before he was ever in BTS as a contemporary dancer. Dancers are expected to have a certain body type and it's very common to have body issues and dieting issues with in the dancing community especially at the level that he performed at
Well, in his predebut clips he look quite healthy. Personally I believe joining the company and being constantly threatened to fired from the group in the beginning may have affected his mindset and put pressure on him. That he had to go extreme lengths to succeed.
It's, not easy to be a PARK JIMIN.. What jimin achieved today is truly because of his hardworks his looks, dance, vocal everything.. I would he is the most criticized member till now.. So so sooo happy to read that he got the talk with his parents to feel his real him People can be so cruel I am very happy that he now understands that toxic people have to be removed from one’s life in order to really live the fullest of his life Thanks for the video, I love this young man so much As much as I love all of them
"I'm fat and my face isn't cute." 😳😫😢😢😢 said the most beautiful boy in the world. And he is dieting now again, 2023 and is talking about how he wish he could eat. 😢 It doesn't seem to matter that millions of Armies adore him. Other voices scream higher and unfortunately Kpop culture is focusing too much on size. The lack of sleep is very serious and unhealthy for young boys and they all seem to lack it, still, although it's probably better now on their hiatus. Jimin says he has no hobbies but likes to rest on his sofa. We all want him to be happy and healthy. I sincerely pray for it. His album Face is naked, raw and I feel he poured his heart out in it. Set me free pt 2 is very revealing and metaphoric. The choreography, the scene of a panopticon prison with Jimin as the tower in the middle, the poem on his chest, all speak about him being bullied, ppl point fingers and they all see him, the tower, but they don't see the real Jimin inside the tower. The T-shirt with Stockholm in Like Crazy, probably referring to the Stockholm syndrome; he love the fans, wants to be on stage and "Lost in the lights", but at the same time that persona/role hurts him. It's like he is put in a golden cage, limited yet depending on the praise of others...
Filter...Set Me Free... Jimin is telling the world many times to not box him in. I am forever grateful Jimin has creative outlets in dance and music, and though we fans may never know the real Jimin, we get to see glimpses of his beautiful soul. 💜
Jimin is the face of BTS. He was the First one that struck & hit me with his visual like a truck when I first got to know BTS. He needs to tc of himself. He doesn’t know how precious & important he is for BTS!
his honesty reached a lot of people- including me. his journey is inspiring and it makes me realize that i need to be kinder to myself too. the real fans don't care about an idol's weight or looks they just want them to be healthy and happy.
Dude was never fat nor chubby. He always looked good to me. Abs or no abs, muscles or no muscles, he always looked good. Yeah there were times where I felt he was a little skinny, and seeing video of him fainting did concern me and made me heartbroken, but I'm glad his members finally stepped in and started to help him as well.
I already knew Jimin's weight loss and weight gain journey but watching this video still puts me to tears. He really deserves only the best things in life with how much hard work he does for his fans and group.
I never knew how bad it was and we are so lucky Jimin is stronger than he thinks he was or even is since all the negativity he received could have ended badly ... I can't imagine not having a beautiful soul like Jimin around. From the last LV VLive I see now why JHope still tells Jimin don't diet.
So sad...I wish Jimin could see what a beautiful person he is - both inside and out. He's an amazing young man who I truly admire. He and the rest of the boys are way too hard on themselves. I love them so much! Thank you for sharing Jimin's story. *Borahae*
He looks amazing now, I hope he’s happy within himself 💜 I was anti worried over Dynamite era tbh, in the practise video he was insanely skinny. Its hard to not slip back into restricting, I know from personality experience but he seems more confident and happy these days 💜
yea, me too. i remember watching one of their interviews during butter/dynamite promotions. i recall seeing jimin's arms realllyyy skinny and it worried me a lot. it made me so sad to see what all of that hate from people, including himself, and insecurites had done to him. seeing him gain weight and getting back to how he looked during debut makes me so happy. I love a healthy Jimin but I just hope he knows that he doesn't have to look perfect for us. Whether he's buff or thin, it doesn't matter bc true fans would love and support him either way. As long as he's not putting him or his body in any sort of danger, then I'm happy.
Jimin's story is one of the most extreme that I've heard. I've been a fan for almost four years now and I had heard about his extreme dieting. When I first saw them perform in 2019 Jimin seemed very happy on stage. It's great to see how passionate he's become about "Love Myself" even to the point of passing on the message during I-Land. It's not easy to hear about the different pressures and criticisms they've faced. A lot of the BTS members including Jimin have said that they started going to the gym more during the pandemic and the work they've put in shows. The enthusiasm that Jimin showed for it in an interview sounds like he's really felt good about it and not pressured into it. When I saw PTD day's 1&2 in Las Vegas. He looked healthy, happy, and was taking every opportunity he could to show he was enjoying himself even to the point of saying "I'm not ready for the next song, I need to hear ARMY scream first." All I could ever ask from any of them is that they're happy and healthy.
Eating disorders are very serious. I am so proud he has the support needed and his brothers and family. There is too much pressure for perfection. Jimin looks fantastic.
Audience in general is so freakin obsessed that an idol must follow how they deemed him to be. If you think about it, Jiminie being a member of BTS scarred him a lot. Some might take it as a constructive criticism, but it can trigger trauma. Altough Jimin's efforts and sacrifices paid off, he seemed more self-conscious nowadays. I hope this time Jimin is happy of what he is now and what he has become. Whether or not Jiminie have abs, it doesn't matter. What matters is his happiness and being able to do what he loves the most. Borahe Chim-chim! 💜
Jimin I wanna say to you I love u the way U LOVE YOURSELF .I will never stop supporting u whether u will be thin or fat , abs or not ..I will just support u u till the very end
I am so glad that Jimin has evolved throughout his weight journey from being overly self-critical and obsessed with weight loss through destructive dieting methods to rebuilding a healthy relationship with food and his body image. He is the living testament to the hardships of his recovery process to prioritize his health and rewire his toxic mindset about himself. He stands by his principle to love yourself by accepting every aspect of your body and mind and putting yourself first. He serves as an inspiration to his fans because it makes him more relatable to them; it portrays how even an idol like him, who seems perfect in every shape and form, can harbor such tremendous emotional strains and struggles with his body image. His self-perception was distorted by the influence of the negative comments and diet culture surrounding him in the industry, which blinded him from realizing the damage he was doing to his body. But when fans began to notice his drastic weight loss, he decided to change. Despite the toxic comments that targeted his past mistakes and insecurities, his focus on the positive comments and the members' support has helped him tremendously, reframing his mindset to take care of his health and treat himself kindly. The Love Myself message has been a saving grace for not only the fans but for the members, especially Jimin, which attests to the power and strength of the message. People will always implicate their public impressions of an idol. An idol can never satisfy everyone's preferences because everyone has different opinions and standards. How can one gain lose weight? It is simply impossible. So why not do the things that make you happy? Ultimately, your life is yours to carve, even for people in the public eye. Jimin is such a living inspiration because he not only shows his humanness, but I can see a piece of myself in him, the person who, too, had voices too loud to silence in their dull mind and body that became an empty shell, screaming for salvation.
It breaks my heart every time to listen Jimin say he has gotten fat or needs to lose weight and doesn't look good enough. I just wish I could remind him that his weight has nothing to do with the beautiful person he is and has become, and he looks amazing regardless. I'm so happy he's taking care of himself now
I m an army from their pre debut and i am a jimin biased aswell.. I exactly know what he was going through.. It always breaks my heart to see him getting bullied by fans for either being 'too slim'or 'too fat'like what if he lost his abs??! He is a fuckin human.. Let the boy live peacefully.. This stupid delulus are just making each and every idol restless.. Now that i m happy he is getting the love he deserves from his true fans and he is confident, happy about himself.. Jimin ah no matter how u look... We love you.. I will always love you jiminie💜You are the most perfect man i have ever seen from the very start.. Every idol is perfect in their own way,no one is ugly here.If someone looks ugly in ur eyes that means u r the one with ugly eyes... U r probably just seeing ur own reflection.
I think it is safe to say that he has struggled with his self-image and food severely throughout his career. And I am so glad he survived and hope he gets the support he needs. Jimin is so beautiful inside and out. We love BTS because of the hard work they put into their music and performance and still find the time to nurture their relationship with their fanbase. A lot of artists of their caibre don't do that anymore. 💜 Hearing Jimin call himself a pig is just heartbreaking to me.
Ranking people is an unforgivable thing to do especially to a young teen. Rating beauty only by what your eyes see, is shallow, unrealisitc and leads to nothing but self-loathing and insecurities. True beauty shines from the inside out. Jimin is a beautiful person on the inside, and it glows to the outside. As he aged, his looks grew to match what he is on the inside. It was always there.
Whaaat??? I’ve always thought that Jimin by far was the most handsome one. I mean by a very long shot. I also think he is the most universally talented. But it’s true that creative geniuses can struggle with serious depression and be overly critical of themselves. The guy has it all though. I hope he sees it now.
It always would break my heart to see how Jimin never thought he was good enough, I wish he could see how much we love him and are proud of him. In their last concert I was so happy to see Jimin in a good place, he seemed happy and confident. 💜💜💜
Jimin-ah is miraculous he work so hard such a inspiration. He look always cute and handsome gain the weight and lose the weight no change the difference because his character. He was really kind, cute and handsome. sarange Jimin-ah 💜💛
recently all of bts have been dieting in more and more extreme ways. the way they’re talking about weight recently, especially jungkook, is really worrying
I'm glad the members and loyal fans was with him throughout all these hardships. I've always admired jimin for how he is. I'm thankful to his parents too for supporting him and giving him motivation. I also struggles with eating problems and depression and I myself don't have that support from my parents or any friend But bts and specially armies are a really great support. Armies and bts may not know me personally but they had helped me many times during my bad episodes and negative emotions. Thank you armies for always being there for me. It really get me going on for one more day instead of giving up
I feel like we forget that they are people too. Just like you and I. A lot of other women, men, and everything in between have gone through the same thing. His story is very motivating and inspiring. Like one of their most popular album says, "Love Yourself!" 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Jimin is so handsome and the most important: Talented, awesome, spectacular, great , lovely ,sweet, UNIQUE Why he is worry about physical appearance.? He knows we love him 😍🤞🏻🤞🏻😘😍😍❤❤💜🐣 When he is going to understand he is SO HANDSOME, BEAU, BELLISISMO, GORGEOUS,STUNNING 😍😍❤❤💜🐣
Jimin is a good man and a wonderful entertainer. Fans should want him to take care of his health more than anything so he can keep making music. Working as hard as he does, losing too much weight can lead to serious health problems and lower quality performances because he won't have enough energy. Let the man live.
i cried in the starting because of sadness but at the end the tears were happy and proud...i cant imagine such a beautiful soul had to go through such an intense and painful time. jimin is a kind and and ethereal human i wish nothing but the best for him.and what is wrong with the people giving death threats.. its so messed up. i just wish i could let him know how amazing he is and how important he is to BTS and ARMY. i hope they stop doing things for validation of toxic armys we all love BTS as they are
I was so sad when people said he was lying since he said he tried to get better. He was probbaly really stressed and people saying bad shit wasn’t helping. It can be hard to put on weight even if you’re trying when you’re stressed or dealing with stuff
Also when I found that video of jimin calling himself a "fat pig " I cried because he was only a teenager and he shouldn't have even been worried about those things at that age
I do not understand why some people are so cruel, they do not stop to think just a little bit how they feel😥💔 when you made negative comments against them. They never hurt you, they do not do anything to you, if you do not like them do not follow them, let them be happy, let them work and do what they love to do.
Hypocritical netizens / solo stans expect them to have the unrealistic standards, social status. We hope idols would realize that real fans do not pay attention on such toxic thing. ( even yesterday in YT i had an arguement with someone who sternly said that RM and Jimin are good looking. (What the heck? both are freaking handsome.)- Some people dont even care about music and talents.
Jimin is a beautiful and sexy man -- even more so today -- he should never question his awesomeness and his inner beauty shines through as well. All of the men of BTS are incredible but, to me, Jimin is the most handsome of all.
I am watching this with tears. I have read and heard about Jimin's wgt /dieting / self-image struggles throughout and it is so painful that these posts repeatedly pop up. Makes me so angry that the industry, incl heinous netizens and press, bore in Jimin a destructive negative self-image. Mgt needs to take responsibility, as well. During this break, I sincerely hope Jimin stays on the path of healing and loving himself. True Army only want him, and his BTS bros, to feel good about themselves. They must know how much we love and support them unconditionally, as they have for us. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Jimin is my favourite member and always will be. We have similar struggles and his song Lie really helped me realise I wasn't alone with the struggle of perfection etc. I love him so much he is so strong for going through so much, poor boy didn't deserve it
