Budget Pedal Chap - What a cool laddie he is 😎👌 Have you seen any of his vids? How about these chatting type vids here in general? Yes or Not Yes? Let me know 🫳⌨⬇
Haven’t seen any of Budge’s videos. The RU-vid algorithm hasn’t sent them my way - I’m not a big pedal guy, so maybe that’s why. I enjoy watching your chats - more! Your B’NAMM footage has been really great 👍
@@derekclacton Thanks for the feedback and your kind words mate! 😀🙏 I'm exactly the same - not really into pedals much myself. I found BPC from his Jet & Harley Benton Guitar reviews 😎👍
Agreed mate 😀👍 He's been very supportive of my channel too, from when I had subs in the double digits (I think). I didn't get invited to the POD team tho 😭 I can't think why 🤔 Maybe it's because I only have 1 pedal 🤣🙈 Congrats on the POD content btw! It's doing really well! 😀👍
The blend set are blooming fantastic. I love them so much that I put them in my Gibson Les Paul 👍 he usually exhibits at the Brum guitar show in case you wanted to try them out before you buy too
Hmm just toik notice..pedal chaps glasses shine..but I'd say yours don't as in no lense...is it my imagination...also great chat..as for pedals im a blues guy and i use delay.. tremolo..OD..wah..works for me ..cheers
It's not your imagination mate - No Lenses 🙈 Well spotted 🤓👍 It's a looong story! But.. I've decided I'm gonna tell you it in this comment 😁 So my day job is working in a school (teaching guitar). I didn't want to be easily recognised by my school pupils on YT, as there are strict policies against communicating with pupils on social media outside of school. So I did my best impression of Clark Kent with this Glasses, Hat, and bright colours combo, rather than my usual, bald heed, no hat, no glasses and wearing a suit and tie for work. Anyhoo... many of the pupils in the school now know about the channel as does the school and everyone's ok with it, so the disguise is no longer necessary. But it has become a part of the channel "aesthetic" and.. I also think it's kinda funny so.. it stays 😂 But... that's not even the best part! You'll love this 😁 Turns out I actually badly need glasses now! 😂
@stevecassidyguitar ..seriously funny..not the part about you needing glasses but all the rest..you have my complete respect..your secret is safe with me🤣...as if..
Well... The short answer is Ebay - They're about £3 a pair, with non prescription lenses. Then I just pop the lenses out and wear the empty frames 🙈 I used to just use the "RealD" 3D Cinema glasses 😆 The long story is, I originally did this as a low effort make shift "Clark Kent-esque" disguise. I teach guitar in a school and didn't want to be easily recognised by my pupils, as there are strict policies against communicating with pupils via social media. In School I wear a suit and tie, no hat or glasses. So for the channel, I went for the fake glasses, colourful hats and cartoon-esque thumbnails. Then... I did get found by a couple of pupils, and I told the school I had a YT channel etc. Now all is good with everyone and the disguise is no longer necessary. But.. the disguise has become a part of the channel aesthetic so now it stays. 😂 But the best part is, now I actually really do need glasses! 🤣 #ohTheIrony 🙈
9:55 Steve, we read left to right ▶️ they read right to left ◀️ so hence the confusion on the numbering. If you ask me Yamaha guy he bring shame to his famaree 😑
I don't think it was a Yamaha thing - just that particular guy (who was also Scottish 😀) has it the other way round. I've encountered this before with other people too. Like how some people call an HSS Guitar an SSH 🤷♂️
pedals are a rip off now, get a zoom g3n, its got EVERYTHING IN IT ,AND A GOOD TUNER, AMP SIMS, TWO COMPRESSORS FIVE OD, ALL KINDS REVERBS N DELAYS AND YOU CAN SEQUENCE THEM IN ROWS OF SIX...ONE SMALL EASILY USEABLE ADJUSTABLE FLOOR BOARD , 300 BUX...AND A ZOOM NOISEGATE ...and the rest...budget pedals ...ripoff.
I use a line 6 HX stomp XL - it's my main gig rig, sounds a bit similar to what you suggest :). I think one of the big reasons I'm not into pedals is, I don't like that you have to physically move the knobs, to change the sound. Then the previous setting is lost until you physically dial it in again. I prefer the digital option of saving pretests because I'm lazy AF 😂
@@stevecassidyguitar well once i find the sound i really like , thats it, the zoom has i think 20 patches you can set up, i got things like slodelay ,which is a slow gear with one of the delays , a rack compressor, a noisegate...i got nine ive set up, ill use the standard(gold drive ,noisegate) mostly i got a origin 20 which is a f. monsterblues rig that responds to soft with less grunt ,but if you play hard its very smiley indeed, then i got a metal world patch with noisegate if i get t full on , but im more into buddy guy n zztop nowadays...chasin little fingerpick turnarounds ...set n forget ,oh and the tuner is right there easy in the display when u need it...pedals? just a bit of a flogsoss.
@@stevecassidyguitar and the zoom effects, are analogue effects on a digital platform, you can run more than one delay, you name the effects on display, the amp models are good enough to run into a p.a. mostly...i havent got the one with a wah pedal on it, but the wah is ok...you can set it up as autosave ,saving any adjustments ,or not ,so it goes back to how it was once y turn it off...
@@chloewinkworthartist A nifty bit of kit! Just had a look at it there - similar layout to the Old Line 6 M9 stuff. A perfect hybrid of digital and analogue for people that prefer the more tactile approach 😎👌
@@stevecassidyguitar ive been using zoom effects since the 9002 ..it was worn on y belt and fiddly...two boards ago it had a great onboard drum sample that ran seperate to the signal, and had great beats..miss that one ,i gave it to an outlaw bikie bloke i was in a band with.
