Glad to say that my issue 21 turned up today. Just have to get in touch with CS as I'm still waiting on issues 19 and 20. Then while waiting for my 2nd jab, the screen on my phone failed. D'oh! Now have to wait until I have charged my old one until I can call.

The top and bottom tint on the windows with untinted middle is screen accurate. I'm glad they did that to the windows.

I use 3 in 1 oil with a whet stone when i,m sharpening my knives . Works a treat :)

Yes, the tint was that dark on the windows on the real car. You can see it clearly when the car passes the camera on it's initial run out of the firehouse, as "Cleanin' Up The Town" is playing. There's also a nice closeup of the smaller quarter window towards the end of the film where Bill Murray gives his "C'mon, Let's run some red lights!" line.

Almost done the first door. I think the tint gets less between the two movies but it is correct to the car as it needed the tint because of the person in the back being worked on as a ambulance. Loving the build as all ways. Stay safe all.

I'm really not sure how I feel about that sticker, all the details on that door are so nice, the paintwork is lovely, all the chrome effect parts look great, plopping a sticker over it seems such a strange choice. My little playmobil model has the logo pre-painted directly onto it, and I think that feels like the way it should be, painted on or a decal, something that doesn't have that third dimension, and ideally only exists at all on the bits that aren't white. Maybe I'm overly picky, but I feel like if the £40 kids toy can paint the logo on I would expect the goodness-knows-how-much giant model to at least match that. That hard stripe on the windows looked very odd to me, but I'm looking at pictures from the movie and that seems to be what it's like. Which is bizarre, I've watched ghostbusters so many times, how have I not noticed that before?

That is a massive model I've mentioned before but it looks equally if not more detailed of any of the newer Pocher models, I know some might say it is or a fair comparison as pocher does not make an 59 Miller-Meteor Co modified Cadillac but I've seen a couple of the lambo and bike builds and this is more detailed than those, their older stuff might be a different story but these models you are making are extreamly impressive.

The window tint is accurate. I was concerned that the windows would not have the correct tinting as I didn’t see it in the photos on the website but I’m happy that they got it right.

Yes, the tint had that hard of a break on the real car. Not 100% sure why, but that’s how they had it on both the 1 and 1A.

I'm surprised they had you do that much to the door with the sticker in place. I would have put that on last since it didn't impact any of the rest of the build.

What kind of soap? There is hand soap, body wash, dishwasher soap, laundry soap, and also soap on a rope.

Their,s been altta complaints about the sticker on the side door being just asticker. Thankfully both Mike Lane Mods/Ian Campbell over at Partwork Upgrades hav com up with waterslide decal. And Mike Lane also does arub on transfer with asmall pencil included in his mod for that

Hi Wayne, I've got a problem with trying to finish my Ecto1. I've just inherited this buid but it's missing packs 34 to 37 due to the collapse of eaglemoss. Fanhome have also disconnected this unit. Any ideas what I can do? Best regards Terry

Yeah, the tint really was that dark. Seems a bit excessive but that is how the car looked in the movie. I know it has been discussed to death but that sticker really is far too big. I'll be ordering some waterslide decals from partsworks upgrades.

So I’ve been doing a lot of research about this and I’m thinking of getting it. The website says 4 packs every 21 days. I’m just curious how did you get like 2 or 3 issues in one month. Did you get lucky or is there just a special time where they send more or did eaglemoss send you more idk lol

I'm actually disappointed in the window tint. The only reason it existed on the Movie Car was so people watching the movie wouldn't be able to tell when it wasn't the actors driving the car.

when they designed this modal I think they toke to much from the classic ambulance car, the movie Echo 1 didn't have tinted windows that I remembered and nether did the cartoon.

Very cool but not understanding why folks would sign up. There are so many complaints about this company. Not getting shipments and poor customer service...even before Covid. Seems you are paying for a hassle rather than the enjoyment of building Ecto-1. RU-vid folks seem to get there parts though.
