Welcome to our RU-vid channel!
We are loving family that live in Bamboo Huts in Rural Thailand. Damo (me), Ryan (my husband), and Otis (Our Son) spend our days taking care of the land and the animals and enjoying each others company.

Formally Ryan worked for "The Coffee Club Thailand" Chain, but now we have opted for a simpler lifestyle, and living in "The Now". On the vlog we will show you what it is like to live in Rural Thailand, details on plants we grow on our land, and most importantly our honest and authentic selves, the good, the bad and the ugly.

Cafe is coming along great Ryan. Content of vlog is so good mate and shows viewers the life in rural Thailand..I got a good laugh with soil delivery, like a Benny Hill skit but they accept it and work on. Otis is such a joy, little champ.

Enjoyable update Ryan, funny watching the 2 trucks getting stuck in the mud. Cafe is coming on a treat 👍 Looks like the workers are doing a nice little job The size of that spider, I'm sure I saw one similar at an overnight stay in Korat , went to the bathroom and there was old matey on the wall, struggled to sleep that night!🙄 All the best mate.

The non color roof is more reflective which will be slightly cooler, absorbing less heat. With an open air design it doesn't probably make too much difference but something to consider.

I once worked for an international sports company surrounded by very wealthy people. At the same time My daughter was still with us who had multiple disabilities. After that experience in extremes, I have a saying. “The more money people have, the less they reckon they’ve got” You are spot on about what happiness is built upon. Cheers.

You made the right choice of silver color roof sheets as it will reflect the solar heat and won't absorb as much as colored ones. Given the choice, always pick a thick roofing sheet abt 0.42mm Also ask the workers to apply bitumen/sealant on top of the roofing self-drilling screws/fasteners (the rubber seal that comes with the screws/fasteners will harden and crack abt 7 years).

Hi. You would need to share the location of your coffee shop so all of us "cycling clubs" can make a stop in the morning. We ride avg 50km on week days and 100km on weekends days. So, going to a different spot for our little break time would be nice.

Yes we are. We start riding between 5am to 6am. Check us out on Facebook. buriram bike club. Couple thousands members. Before covid19 we had many competitions. Same for run competitions. Our stop (coffee break) usually is at between 7 to 8am depending where we are riding to. If you know @4 cafe, around 75 cyclist stop there. Afterwards we have between 10 to 15 km left to do depending where everyone is living at. We are always interesting to visit a new stop and different road trip. (Usually on weekends since this is when we do 100 to 120km per day. ) Week days like I've mentioned, we do 50km on avg per day.... When it's not raining loll. So, please share your location to me so I can spread the word out. (Many eat breakfast also (Thais cyclist))

He was a singer, write poetry, compose a song, organnize-compile, ( producer ). He was also the band leader name Wai Phot Phet Suphan. IT was very old band for Thai country music. The band has been subside long times. He is become an old man now. But his musics still go on. Alot the people living inside the country like to listening to his music. He is still carry on writing the musics for new generation sometimes. The queen of Thai country music name Phumpuang Duangjan he was also the first man to wrote musics for her. The music name Kaeo Ro Phi was a very popular and making a lot of the money. The whole of the country knew name woman singer as Phumpuang Duangjan because of the music Kaeo Ro Phi that he was wrote for her. The Queen of Thai country music name Phumpuang Duangjan has pass aways on 13/6/1992 aged 31. She was born on 4/8/1961.

I am going through a messy divorce my ex is carrying so much anger and hatred, most of which she brought in to the marriage, Initially I felt exhausted from the baggage of the marriage and the ongoing divorce. It was too much. I have long held a dream to live in Thailand and adopted something that seems to be prevalent, living IN the moment. Now that baggage is no longer here, it is in the past. the divorce only hurts when my ex creates another drama and the marriage well that is over and has no meaning to my current self. It is a difficult journey and there are of course bumps in the road but I know that I am better for living in the present. I am becoming so evangelical about this approach to life. Your words are so redolent of this journey.

@@lifeinruralthailand We have "choice", and I choose to BE happy and to GIVE happiness. You have a lovely family, Tiss reminds me of my son at the same age. Sweet, generous, and happy, plus he grew his hair long. He used to get upset whenever I asked him if he wanted a haircut, by the time he was 4 it was down to his waist :) I had a random thought about the kitchen, rather than putting French doors in initially would it be possible to source a sufficiently large mosquito net? The light through that and reflected by that at night would be amazing! Have a wonderful day. J
