i am interfacing a some problems in after effects cc 3d elements when i open for edit text and any shape but black screen problem all black

everything is fine except the way destruction. Im using a pillar to destruct but it breaks like chips...voronoi fracture is not converting into a solid object...so only chips are getting destructed. how to make it a solid object?

what is the ability do we need in our computers to practice this kind of tutorial please ?
