Just a thought put in the concrete let dry. Place the sphere in the boat unassembled and glue together on the water pvc glue dries quickly

True brush produces more fish for me than any PVC that I have put out. I've decided to stay with the brush at this point. Brush gives more cover and builds the fish up quicker on my lake. I've found that 20% produce the best. Every 10 equals 2 great spots. Great video.

5 years later....lol How did these piles produce and/or hold up? Christmas trees seem to be hit or miss. What about location? I'm just getting into building piles and trying to have my own secluded spots. The problem I have is, our lakes around here get drawn down 20-30 ft so anything you out out gets exposed in the winter or too deep to fish year round. I'm guessing the best thing to do would be to make summer and winter piles, huh?

Good stuff. Did you consider spray painting pvc flat black instead of sanding? Would allow algae adhesion with less work maybe.

No very well. I think the PVC is not wide enough to provide shelter that the fish want.

This is the diff between catching fish consistently. Better waypoint them. They can be hard to find. I have a gabster as well. She is 22. Wind in your face.

Do you have much luck with the pvc? I made a bunch out of pvc last year and fished them this summer without much luck. I didn’t sand mine though😬. I’ve started making them out of poly tubing that’s used for drip irrigation and they are awesome compared to the pvc. Plus the poly tube is cheaper and easier to transport because it’ll flex. I can send you some pics of how I make mine if you’re interested.

Shane Barrett I tried bamboo last year. Didn’t work either. I think location is most important

@@3poundCrappiefishing I have done some bamboo myself. Put em out in spring. Caught fish on them already. But I put them in a shallow 13 acre lake. I read somewhere a guy done a test with this fish fertilizer. He rubbed down all his sanded pvc or drip tubing with this and let it dry. His attracters were set up to raise and lower. The ones he used the fertilizer on had algae growth a lot sooner than the ones without. It was called Alaska fish plant fertilizer 5.1.1
