Andrea, have you ever made zucchini bread? Give it a try if you grow too many this summer. At the end of the season, when the zucchini get really big, just grind them into 1 cup portions in freezer bags and throw them in the freezer. Zucchini all winter. Very nice snack or breakfast with a cup of tea. The new ducks are wonderful. I do hope Wayne likes them. Congratulations "Mum and Dad" on the new additions! Lessons in physics...how to flip huge stone by yourself. This, children, is known as how to use a fulcrum! First, get a Nick! Second, give him a pry bar and let him go at it! Lol! I hate silicone molds. I grease 'em and the food still sticks. Maybe I need to grease them and then dust them with flour? See you next week! Blessed Be!

I think they're called Maygrubs or Doodlebugs over your way. They become a type of scarab beetle around mid-summer. In larger numbers, they can destroy pasture roots.

I just mentioned, the other day, that I'm going to look for an old fashioned crowbar, the ones used on the railroads, like my father's, back in the day. They were heavy and long enough to use for a fulcrum and too wedge post holes. You are SUPER MAN. There is no good man, without a GOOD WOMAN. Take care.

My father used to work on cars a lot and often dropped things, mostly bolts, into the engine,. He got a telescoping magnet rod like you used to get your bit out of the gate post. I like your steps and gate, only I would like a bit wider steps for myself. It's not often I hear Nick grunt carrying anything, so I know those rocks were heavy.

Great stairs, huffing and puffing I did that today moving square concrete slabs 2 foot by 2 foot by swivelling to and fro u til I got to were it needed to be from one side of my garden to the other and emptying 2 water butts and then levelling the area for the water butts to sit on and then re arrange small bits of slab for pots to sit on around the area too and have 2 watering cans in place for each water butt, Hope the new ducklings get along with the others, how wonderful to get some more, hope they will enjoy there new home, banana loaf looked yummy xxx

There's a lot to be impressed about in this episode! The wind bending that guttering must have been pretty darned bad, the new ducks were *SO* hungry, and your Cornish-style granite steps are superb! Then there is the beetle larvae at the end - very, very impressive!
