Makes me wish I was a kid again (so I could play with this) and that I could actually see well enough to make it, thats why these vids appeal to me, I cannot make them now or store them, so people like Owen stave off the 'addiction' , and to be honest its almost as good as me making them myself watching them being built.

Nice work, when I was a kid you got some of the Thunderbird machines in packets of cornflakes or other cereals. I used to play with Thunderbird 4 in the bath, as I was a big fan of the programme. These models look great.

I would have thought that the main weathering on the Elevator cars would have been tyre rubber residue judging by the way that they skidded around to land the Fireflash.

I am very impressed with the detailing of the small models. ( I used to say the same thing about Kate Moss ) When i was a boy I used fingernail clipper to cut the parts off the Sprue. ( I called it the parts tree )

There is a model kit for the fireflash but it is an older set and had to be fully painted and assembled, so I guess he could buy that and make it but as far as I know that's the only one avalable

Looking great! The oil paints are awesome for weathering, do you still have any of the Wilder Oils. I prefer to work with them as they dry much faster. Anyhow great work, excited to see the rest of this thing!

I've got to get this series shifted, then I have a diorama video that's been sitting in the edit since Christmas which I want to shift... The Abrams needs painting and weathering etc so it could be another few months before I have time to release that unfortunately

usually I hate the very idea of glue in model kits but in this case I can't get mad about it for some reason, maybe because the pieces are also secured by tabs or there's no packaging implying the use of Elmers glue

While this whole kit is extremely nice, I just can't see a justification for the astronomical price tag. Yes you get a lot of stuff, but £850 for a kit like this just seems insane. £200 would be more reasonable in my oppinion.

I found the commentary on this one to be a bit boring, especially as you said nearly the same thing multiple times. Maybe talk about the uses of the different pods?

I agree and that would be a great idea - unfortunately I don't have enough time to work on the videos at the moment so the script was very rushed, same with the next video which is coming out next Saturday

I feel like there shouldn't be any plastic glue if this is a kids toy bc the plastic glue has a bad odor even I hate it and it's poisonous! So all the children watching this video,be careful!

poly cement smells lush lol. Nah I doubt any kids will be building this without some supervision considering how much it costs and more likely be a nostalgia trip for those who loved the 60s tv show or fancied a serious upgrade to the matchbox toys .
