Finding your videos - specifically this one and your basic scale modelling video - have made me realize that searching for Gunpla painting specifically has limited my options for learning about painting too much. Scale modelers use pretty much the same techniques as one could for Gunpla models, so these videos are a huge help!
Wow - these techniques and tips can be applied to so many things. It's not so much about the actual models (target), but more about the brush types to use for the medium (target). I was really surprised by how helpful this video is. Many thanks - Saved, Subscribed, and Thumbs up 😄👍
At the age of 72 years and beginning to feel it, I can tell you young man that I had a rough ride at grammar school even though the headmaster (bless him) ran it like something out of Goodbye Mister Chips. However, being on the wrong end of the "cool guys'", and that's not what I called them, attention gave me the confidence to at first avoid where possible or wait for ring leaders to be on their own, true not very often. Anyhow emigrating to Australia intervened. That didn't last long but when I returned I was a lot bigger, enough said. I used to make scale (dreadful) scale models, Julius Caesar had a red gloss cloak (oh dear). I am back in the fold and still learning. It's great. I wish you well.
I wanted to start scale modelling, Airfix models and your videos are very helpful. And you tips and explanation are very nice .I am just 12 but like you I like scale modelling.Well I am not alone in this. Don't reply please keep it a Secret!
Wow! I am amazed (and love the tips) as to how you painted the airplane without an airbrush or spray can. Never have I found such a simple and great way to hand paint with amazing results. Great as not all of us can have a spray station. Cheers!!
Would love to see you back as your content is excellent. Liked and subscribed. I'm an old man who rediscovered his love on scale modeling. Just now finishing a submarine on my channel. Hope toy see you return.
New to models. Now I'm glad that before I went to a tutorial I tried removing decals that weren't gonna be used in the variant I was gonna make. I tried prying it up with my x-acto knife and completely fubared the decal. 🤣🤣
Very very interesting to watch! I've been a miniature figure painter for years with acrylics, and have always sworn by Sable. That said I never touch anything as large or flat as a tank surface, but I'm going to look into the PH issue
Great video and great build. So sorry the the legs were such a pain. I enjoyed the whole video though. Very cool. Keep up the great work. I learned quit a lot from it. Thanks.
