The Jokerz ported Eaton supercharger on the built motor Ford F-150 SVT Lightning blew up today while doing a street acceleration pull! Good thing I was planning on swapping it anyways, now's the perfect time! I have a 13-14 Ford Shelby GT500 supercharger ready to go, all the parts that are needed, and we are ready to get this party started! That's what I make now, but it takes pushing the eaton to its max, and a hefty supporting setup to do it. Go with a whipple or something, and you can easily make that, without pushing shit.

Yes I have a eaten on mine with the upper small pulley and lower small pulley and it's been running great on my 2001 Ford red lightning

Really like that TVS! I am trying to make due with this 2.6 Kenne Belle but at just under 500rwhp it won't do much more on pump gas! Going to try that trick intercooler then see if that helps. Great stuff man!

I have a few questions for you. Where did you get your built motor from and who did your tune?

Built motor is from JDM Engineering, not to be confused with JDM cars lol, big Performance Ford shop, they've been around since the beginning, and were pioneers for the Lightning. It was tuned by Eric Korn, who unfortunately is no longer tuning. I'll be tuning it myself this go around

Most people use a bottle jack and push the fire wall back alittle for clearance, I'll be notching mine out with a cutoff wheel, you'll see why I have to do that in a future video.

Nice stuff there I'm sure, being old school, don't recognize some brands. Remember, you build bigger, you will be building again.....can't tell you how many set ups I've been through the last 50yr. With a 650RW set up, that would make a much more interesting run with the Pig (me driving), much more.....might have to put it in Pissssssss, Pissssssss mod. Maybe one day we will try it out when I visit Bigboy. Enjoyed your vid as usual......take it easy brother, sorry about the Eaton....no biggie though....rebuild and save.

I wanna cam my lightning so it’ll thump pretty good but I’ve read that putting aftermarket cams in a stock block will blow the engine is that true or am I safe?

Putting cams in a stock engine can blow the engine, will require built heads, and is a big waste of time. If your gonna do cams, have the motor built.

Because that's what everyone does, it's the cookie cutter route at this point. I want to go the road less traveled, and push the potential of the tvs/set records for it. The tvs should be on par with the whipple's hp, but much more torque heavy. Plus, I got the whole thing for free, so why not? It'll be interesting to see what it'll do.

Because the tvs makes similar power if not more to similar size twin screws or even larger and makes alot more torque and average hp/tq. This isn't 2005 anymore the modern tvs blowers are pretty awesome.

Cold weather long pull just cost me a lower end, Just blew my lightning up Saturday. Time to build it better. 🙃 Can't wait to see you get this together. Also having such big pulleys are you over spinning the Eatons max rpm?

Been there, cold weather is when on edge tunes show their true colors! Build better and make sure to get a safe tune from someone legit. Oh yeah, way over max rpm. Eaton says 17k rpm is max, I'm at 23k, Neil spun his way harder than I did, pretty sure he was 28k or more lol 😅

Well, since it's his, I best not say, but I will tell you its hefty, built for a 600 progressive nitrous system I never installed for one reason or another. I ran mild, 250/275 and occasional 300 shot when the money and or trophy was on the line. I will say this much, kidding aside, with your set up now, on a motor run, the Pig would have ya on the trailer, easily. With the new build I hope your new suspension works out well with the combo....if so, it's gonna be Pisssssssss Pissssssss time. Yes-Sir-Ree Dee. Bigboy just can't fit in the set up I had, cannot shift, knees touching dash. He's working on moving cage one day, so until then it's just the shows. I'm 5'10'' 160 and he's what, 6'4" 395. It was too funny when he tried driving it before he switched the seat...I swear only one cheek fit in the seat....hahahahahaha......seat fits now, but back of seat hitting cage. I drove with elbows by my side pert near. I sure hope your new build comes out nice. Maybe after your build I can come down and then Orlando Speed World time. I'll be 70 by then, but remember, I didn't get the nickname Mr. Shifter for nothing. I miss building and racing. Later Gator, love ya brother!
