I'm sure you know this, but when soft armor is pressed up against a hard object, it will fail occasionally. The extra substance behind the armor increases the amount of pressure on the armor, causing it to fail. They have to be tested on a soft target.

ive actually never heard of 458 Socom before this and by god is that a chunky bullet, although shooting it in full auto seems a little impractical because of the recoil sorta like an FAL but still bit of a scary bullet lol
