Odin gets thrilled by the battle and only uses Zantetsuken if you're boring him. By doing this, you blew his mind so hard he immediately swore his undying loyalty and respect for you.
I love personalized and cinematic this game can be for every player. Even in regular battles I've seen some amazing enemy attacks timed with dope music and awesome synergy abilities. It's so well designed.
Every game can call "geek" It a game ! And it fantasy game This gane do not thing wrong It cool as sht ! Why you call your game "fantasy" if itself can not go this hard
That was an awesome clutch moment there! Damn, that was intense! I defeated Odin at Full Might yesterday as well. I tried the same team like you did as my first option and it didn't work out (got 1 shotted multiple times) the day before so yesterday I tried the team of Cloud, Aerith and Tifa and readjust some of my materia and boy oh boy, it was intense and exciting at the same time. I didn't use any summoning nor Reprieve or any Revival accessory just pure attack. The main difference that did it for me was definitely the disruptive spells, and Tifa's Unbridled Strength with ATB Stagger to build up stagger damage and ATB bars, got it up to 275% to 300%. Just keep on Uppercut, activate US, Uppercut rinse and repeat. The MVP was definitely Aerith's Planet's Protection Lvl 2 Limit Break that helped at the final moments. Immune to all attacks basically tilts the DPS in my favour. Throughout the battle, Aerith focused on Healing and dealing Cometeor + Firaga with Radiant + Arcade Ward. Cloud basically doing Cloud things and Tifa literally storing her US Chi. I even forgot to use her Chi Trap ability, that could prove very useful. I haven't gotten a lot of tools yet too at this point in time as I just reached Mt Nibel so gotta scrape with what you got, you know....This battle makes the Bahamut Arisen one pissed easy. 😅
@@AwsyrRpgBallFPS Easy tip to bully Odin, punisher mode, even better with prime mode if you already have it. Try timing the counters with R1 so if its a perfect timing you take no damage as well. Roll away once he's about to use buffs so the burst doesn't hit you, 2 focus thrusts right after you see the burst and buffs go up. Then pretty much repeat while avoiding unblockables.
@@kuroganeyukia579 would phoenix also be good against him? Summons always use their ultimate attack if their summoner dies but i dunno if all 3 party members dying overrides this. It would be handy since phoenix fully revives fallen party members
@antonironstag5085 Yea if you dont have that many revive materias or much sp left Phoenix is good to have on at least someone, I never really got to use summons that much and only pulled out Phoenix maybe once or twice with Aerith since I got used to ending fights really fast in hard mode in the previous game and also this one.
@@kuroganeyukia579 also I'm fairly sure if you debuff him before he buffs himself it actually "locks" any debuffs like Deprotect on him while in that state
I got saved by Bahamut on the final moment of Sephiroth’s final fight. I had another cool moment when I first fought Red Dragon. He had like 1 HP left on him and he casted Crimson Breath on the opposite side of the battle arena, he knocked out Cloud because I had the elemental materia on other party members. Immediately after he finished, Bahamut came and gigaflared him. It was a cool moment seeing a dragon vs dragon send off.
I swear Odin was a real b@$ch when I fought him. On some tries he’d literally just right into zantensuken after one attack at the start of the battle that I did dodge. Like wtf
Just a small question if you wouldnt mind. Im planning on picking this game up since its free with PS+ but (if 16 being my first and favourite shows anything) the eikons (or whatever their reffered to in this) are probably gonna be my favourite part. So is there like a limit to how many times i can summon them or anything? Like is there an item i need to buy to call them in or smth?
Whose idea was it to have a boss that does a one shot attack if you get hit a few times?! All the other summon fights were amazing. It just sucks how much they screwed up the last one.
