She ruined her entire family, instead of just getting a divorce. Yeah the problem is it all points to mom. She stole 50,000 in home equity without telling her husband. Had a long time affair with another man. Told her neighbor she hoped he died a painful death. Then told him they found her husband the day before they actually found him. The sons seems very believable to me.

I don’t believe that Scott is guilty of doing his father harm. His body language was direct, his eye contact was direct. There was no hesitation on his part of answering questions.✝️

This was hard to witness as Scott laid it all out. She destroyed this family. The judge should have stopped that attorney from interrogating him but he wasn't fazed. Justice for Gary Farris...RIP

Well the son actually failed a polygraph and then walked out of his police interview. The other son used his dad's credit card illegally and was told by the dad that his stealing must stop.

That is what I was wondering too, why do they think he was actually killed in the basement? I know there were a few drops of blood found, but they said it wasn't a significant amount of blood. He may have been down by the fire when he was killed, or at least somewhere out in the yard near the burn pit. Was there specific evidence that the basement was the actual crime scene, I've missed a few days due to power outage from the hurricane so I may have missed something about that.

Glad y'all survived the hurricanes! I'm just learning about this case, too, and I'm wondering exactly what evidence they have on Melody. Could the blood trail leading "upstairs " actually be from dripping clean-up towels carried downstairs to the laundry? I'm eager to hear more evidence, hope forensics have been thorough. I heard this trial will last up to 3 wks.

I am feeling some kinda way about the son, he has a lot of information regarding the gun, and not knowing his friend's name. He is just as big as his father, and I would give him a non-pass. I kinda think he would be a suspect or just straight "daddy killer". This attorney is giving me second thoughts as the son is suspicious in my view. The camera footage would have made a big difference had he not deleted the footage, the gun he looked for after the 911 call (gone), why was he looking for it! I am kinda all over the place, your thoughts!

@@007jynx definitely sus that his first thought before anyone found the bullet in the rib cage, was 'where's that gun I saw months ago in the basement ?' . I personally think Chris did the dirty deed out of a fit of rage from being told, "no more money, son". Scott prolly helped in the aftermath. Both were on the property on the 3rd. Chris's only alibi for the evening is that he slept in a different room cuz his 12 yr old daughter slept with her stepmom... sounds funky to me. Both were entitled moochers.

I think Scott is innocent. He wasn’t shifting around. He wasn’t showing any body language that would indicate that he’s nervous. He was very direct and he came up with the answers immediately after they were asked of him. It was mentioned by the other brother that Scott had a good relationship with his father.✝️

Defense Attorney taking Scott back in time of war effected him and had nothing to do with the case all the way down to food he likes. Melody seen crack smiles. Judge is showing Biaz, jury out of control on breaks/lunch. Fact of the matter is Melody killed her husband, scott was not home, text message from Melody to Rusty, he's in the burn pile. Mother's shame, greed, Control, adultery and etc is show by her to her sons by the brutal badgering Defense Attorney. I doubt he sleeps good tonight. Defense Attorney being paid millions for his acts. Shame on you!!

This case is really complex. There is so much going on in that family. I think the sons are spoiled brats who were taking advantage of their dad's generosity. It seems like they thought they were actually entitled to his money. Mom wanted them to be independent.

Are we watching and listening to the same case?? Because the game camera was pointed at the neighbors house....on the edge of the property. If you have ever had a game camera, you delete the pictures because there are hundreds to thousands. Scott said he deleted BEFORE finding Dad. The expert comments??

Well, it came out that she knew how to drive that tractor. If she could access the basement door with that tractor, she could hook a roper chain on and pull him out and then load him up in the bucket. I do all kinds of things like that on my property with tree stumps.. She would just need a means to hook onto him. She certainly did a lot of texting with people in the area, especially the silver haired man I can’t remember his name. So she established a relationship with these people maybe she got help from them..✝️

I don’t believe a word Scott is saying, his body language is screaming out to me that he was involved. The defence attorney was quite masterful in going through the timeline and pointing out that 12 hours before anyone found a bullet, he was searching for the unreported‘missing’ gun, he wasn’t searching for poison or a knife or anything else that could have caused Gary’s death. For me, at this point, Scott is enough reasonable doubt.

You mean the "poisoning" that the lying Chris spoke about ? Nothing else to substantiate said "poisoning" and it was stated that Gary had spells even when Melody was out of town... I think Chris did the dirty deed and Scott helped in the aftermath. Chris probably had a temper tantrum cuz Daddy said "that's it guys, go fend fer yourselves" and the alcoholic jobless babies couldn't handle it. I mean... Chris didn't even have gas money!!!! And was ripping his employee off!!! I hope he/they are indicted after a not guilty comes back for Melody.
