The enforcement of the exclusive EDSA bus lane continues. While the increased penalties have deterred many violators, some are still trying their luck at using the bus lane to get ahead of rush hour congestion.
Imagine kahit 5k na yun fine... there are still people willing to take the chance using the bus lane... these drivers show absolutely no value for money, no respect for the law, no respect towards other motorist... There are some that stop right away and then there are some that play peek-a-boo with the police(that should be considered as a chase)... dapat those who are trying to avoid getting caught and start swerving, dapat that is triple offense.... bus lane offense, reckless driving swerving, and chase. That should call for a license suspension.
@@rap3208 exactly. yung batas para lang yung sa mga law-abiding citizens. yng mga lumalabag, suggestion lang ang batas sa kanila. yung mga madalas nafefeature dito diba nahuhuli na walang helmet at tsinelas tapos wala palang lisensya. wala silang pake. yung iba diyan baka di naman nila babayaran yan hanggang need nila magrenew sakan na nila poproblemahin. tignan mo mga colorum van may radyo pa yan.

Increase the penalty to: 1st offense: 15,000 and plus suspension of driver's license for 6 months. 2nd offense: 30,000 and suspension of driver's license for 1 year. 3rd offense: 50,000, revocation of driver's license and impound of the used vehicle.
80% of income penalty with a minimum of 20k in first offense, if kumikita ka ng 10k kase 8k lang yon so kailangan may minimum. pataas din na penalty like 90% of income sa mga violators na may multiple sources of income (examaple: doctor na may business) 2nd violation kung pwede 100% ng yearly income tapos revoke license and vehicle impound 3rd violation 200%-500% income based penalty tapos kulong for 10years
suspend all MC taxi companies para mag isip isip sila. pero alam mo, magkocolorum lang naman sila e. yung mga habal na nangongontrata. kasi alam nila hahanapin parin sila ng mga pasahero.
pagdating ng 9pm nagsisilabasan nanaman mga kamote sa daan. dapat din talaga naka no contact apprehension na edsa. para kahit walang bantay di makakapasok motorcycle at 4wheels sa buslane.
Quick amendment. Also penalize the MC taxi company for their rider's actions. Will force the MC company to enforce that their riders must not break rules. I think that will be an even more effective deterrent.
eh pano kung hndi naman pala legit na angkas or joyride ung MC rider na yun like yung nahuli last time ni Col. nebrija na naka angkas na uniform pero habal habal pala
You should also show videos of buses who overstay at the Heritage hotel station at the corner of Roxas blvd and Edsa and tell the MMDA to apprehend those buses who block the bus lane by overstaying.
Hope you can make a video showing/updating us how many people actually pay the penalty? Like show us the stats or numbers to really see if the bus lane violators really pay the fines :)

Wag naman. Sino pa mag dodonate ng 5k sila ung mababit na mahilig mag donate ng 5k bakit mo sila tatanggalin sa kalsada. Mayayaman kaya driver ng MC taxi.
The MMDA is also wrong, there should be a signage at the entrance saying "we expect a 5k penalty at the end, if you are not a BUS and an Emergency Vehicle, just try to enter".

IN ABROAD IF YOU VIOLATED & CAUGHT BY THE POLICE OR TRAFFIC ENFORCERS YOU HAVE TO GIVE RIGHT AWAY YOUR LICENSE AND NEVER ARGUE WITH THEM OTHERWISE YOU WILL PAY MORE OR THEY WILL CONFISCATE YOUR DRIVER’S LICENSE. The fine should increase to like 15k to a first offense so as to discourage them from using the bus lane and to permit the use of NCAP for the bus lane violators, the government should be very strict to insure order in the country
The best option to avoid an expensive ticket is wag na mag motor, ndi din naman disiplinado, wala din naman sa wisyo yung mga kapwa mo motorista kaya ang best talaga wag na magmotor

Imagine being the passenger of those MC taxi riders who take the bus lane. MC taxi companies should be fined as well and the same should take action on those violating riders.
if the goal is to prevent private vehicles from entering the bus lane then the best solution is to make it inaccessible to them. no matter how much penalty you impose, no one can really prevent them from using it as long as it is accessible to them.
sumusunod lang kamote sa rules of road pag may bantay. pag wala harabas padin sila. pag gabi dyan sa tunnel ng Ortigas muntikan pa mabangga likod ng bus dahil sa kaka overtake.
Dapat pg ambulance kurtina lang at hindi tinted inaabuso nila ang pgka ambulansya nila. Sa dapat bukas ang ilaw sa loob at my pasyente tlaga. Hindi mga pasahero lang..

For sure it's not cheap to fix that. But I still wouldn't be surprised if it ended with just a handshake. I see it all the time 🤷♂️ Especially when it involves an MC, tricycle or jeep. Taxis can go either way.

Ang dami pa ring malalakas ang loob. Tuwing dumadaan ako sa EDSA dami ko nakikitang motor at 4 wheels sa bus lane. Alam ng mga mokong kung saan banda walang enforcers.
Did you ever encounter someone who has surrendered a digital license through the LTO portal? Cause I read there that you can actually use this as verification in case you didn't physically bring your license. 😊
If an ambulance passes thru the bus lane and a motorcycle is behind the ambulance but he/she is the family member of the patient inside the ambulance will they still be fined?
So whats the progress on the cctv? It will really help with the apprehension without the risk of the enforcers, plus it will deter kotong from happening
I wish they would increase the salary of those who regulate this kind of job especially those who are in the field chasing violators and again I thank the violators for donating their 5k pesos everytime means they are very generous and rich for donating such money, hope they will keep doing this. 😅
Pinoy are good violators on the road. Hindi maligaya kung hindi maka-pandaya, Walang license while driving, Ibig sabihin walang consyensa. Walang pakialam attitude.

I don't know what's going on with these violators, everybody knows the penalty is so huge and yet these motorists keeps up-ending the rule. Maybe impatience rules them.
Aside from Bus Lane violation, they should add "Disregarding Traffic Sign" since there's signs everywhere telling you that the Bus Lane is for Buses only. Also "Reckless Driving" since they're endangering both themselves and the others.

5k is too cheap that's why nobody is scared about it.., they should make it 25k and announce it on TV's and radio stations everyday as a warning.. then we'll see if anybody still wants to drive on that lane illegally
Remember MC Taxi company or owner dala ng mga rider pangalan nyo, kaya dapat kayo din mag tama sa mga yan. What if MC Taxi company makipag tulungan kayo sa MMDA, lahat ng MC rider na mahuhuli nila eh bigyan nyo din penalty? Cguro yung iba dyan hindi na 1st time mahuli, kahit hindi suspend agad kahit warning or lakihan nyo kaltas sa 1 or 2 passengers nila then pag nahuli ulit saka suspend.
