I remember when the 549 bus was originally the 254 which ran on RF single deck buses..and when the 167 was converted to double deck in the mid 70s..and do you remember the old RT route 20A when it ran via Loughton to Leytonstone many years ago? Great video!
it amazes me how stagecoach managed to put codes on their recently acquired buses (probably because they have to) but didn't bother to change the logo... unless they are keeping it hct
02:10 did he quit Metroline for Sullivan for better money? I did that many times moving from one to the other different operators including Arriva, from 1989 to early 2000s!
I wonder why they removed the "This Bus is Operated by" and then left the HCT group logo. Unless theyre intending on keeping HCT group as a stagecoach brand, like Stagecoach Selkant
Would you work for Sullivan Buses? Those smaller UK bus operators look more interesting than the other big UK groups like First, Arriva, Go-Ahead and Stagecoach.
Wonder does affect them operating we have a bus operator here in Dublin and their garage is located next to the busiest road in Ireland and their buses appear to suffer issues with dead running.
Their buses are an awful environment, dirty dark and insanely rattly aswell as the buses generally being scruffy with blinds missing etc. not great for a passenger can’t be too good for drivers
