Thank you! I stated the same dose last night. I slept good, I was focused today, but feeling a wee bit spacey and tired. One thing that I did notice is that whenever I got off of task, I was able to recognize it and immediately go back on task. And then I just ran out of gas working so now I’m just watching your videos. 😂 thank you so much for making these videos. They are critical for the rest of us people.
I wanted to add that I had to stop after two weeks because I got that really high feeling that you were talking about except it intensified and never went away. That lasted for 2 1/2 days. I called my doctor and he asked me to do a Genetics test. I have the MFTHR gene mutation which causes anxiety, depression, cardiovascular issues, and a bunch of other things. It also does not let me metabolize medication‘s, vaccines, and simple things as aspirin the correct way. However, I wanted to thank you again for making this video because I have watched your videos for months before I even decided to take the medication. your videos are very very valuable for anybody starting this medication. And I just wanted to thank you again.
What you are describing is called restless leg syndrome.. This video is relatively old so I'm sure she has it under control but for anybody else experiencing this symptom you can take a warm shower before hopping into bed or when it occurs and it will help that.
I really appreciate you sharing your experiences with me. I had such a bad experience with Escitalopram day 1of taking it that I have sworn off taking any Anti-anxiety meds. I have tried using all of the supplements like L-theanine, GABA, Mood which is a anti- anxiety supplement cocktail. They work OK, but after 3 hours they no longer work and my anxiety heart palpitations nervousness returns and is cranked up a notch! So my Psych doc prescribed Buspar a week ago and I haven't picked it up yet. I had some major stressful life changing events in my life and was hoping the attacks were temporary. I quit drinking, gave up sugar & salt been on a Mediterranean diet and loss over 10 lbs but all of this added to my anxiety since I no longer have these my nervous system appears to be fired up even more. SO I've been hoping the supplements would calm my neurotransmitters down and they would return to normal, not happening. So Buspar may be my only hope cause damn if I do and damn if I don't either way I been feeling really bad. Hopefully it will help not harm me
If your doctor or pharmacist didn't tell you, on average it takes 2 to 3 weeks before you should start to notice any changes. Don't take my word for it, there are other videos On RU-vid that back this up. I wish you all the best. Good luck!
Thanks for your video, I was put on that same medication and I had the worst vivid nightmare and was afraid to take it any longer and that was on the first day but a few days later I decided to start taking it again and so far I'm only on my second week and haven't had any scary dreams but I experienced the same side affects you did. It did help me with alcohol withdrawals and I was able to quit drinking, and I'm more calmer now.😅
Thank you for the video. I just started this medication on the bottle it says take as needed. I also did research and it said basically it should be taken in the morning because it can have an stimulate effect on your body.
Saying something is not addicting is so interesting, because anything can be addicting to someone if they make it that way for themselves!! But I get it’s not like highly addictive like other things. I take it and I like it but if I didn’t take it… unsure. You can still have withdrawals but that doesn’t mean your addicted of course, idk
My psychiatrist just put me on 5mg Buspurione for my anxiety. I'm also on 125mg of Zoloft. My fear is Serotonin Syndrome, but Buspurione, according to my psychiatrist, can be taken as needed.
i have the same kindve anxiety its crazy because i didnt think there was anyone with the same anxiety as me i have the same kindve feeling with social anxiety too and it sucks im going to be trying that medication again it helped allot in the past but i had got a strange feeling and so I stopped the medication but i will be trying it again
I started buspirone 10mg, 5mg morning 10mg night first week. Now in my second week 10mg morning 10 at night. Anxiety still weaking me up in the middle of the night. Not going back to sleep. Let see how long is taking to work. Was taking Lexapro and stop, was giving me alucination.
That happened to me too. I skipped it last night and slept a lot better. I also felt like I was on drugs. It calmed me down a bit but I felt like I was dead. So I'll stop taking it. I hope it helps you better.

It does effect sleep a little at first, at least for me it did. I had really weird dreams and I also noticed insomnia the second week of taking it, but it went away after a few weeks
Is this good to stop anxiety chest pain and tightness ? I been taking fir 5 days. How long before you noticed before your chest pain stoped ? How many to take a day
The chest pain only lasted 2 days for me if I remember correctly. When I was on lexapro though I had chest pain for weeks. I hope this helps and I hope you’re doing better!
Lexapro muted my sexual drive which scared the heck out of me so I recently switched to Buspar. But Buspar gives me vivid dreams and dizziness. It has to be taken twice daily too. I don’t think it works for me.
Good luck! I was pretty dizzy and had vivid dreams the first 3 weeks but it went away after that. I’m 3 months in now and I have no side affects besides my memory is slightly off. I hope this helps!
Thanks for updating i just started buspirone at 9:30 pm was my first 5 mg dose i hope it will improve on my anxiety they also prescribed me Lexapro but i don't want to take it while im on buspirone or should I concerned?
I’m on day 4 and I’m having this with my legs and feeling more anxious and waking up shaking in the middle of the night. Is this from increased anxiety or from side effects?
I'm switching from BusPIRone to Lexapro. I started with 5 mg 3 times a day and then switched to 10 mg 3 times a day. Wasn't helping. So now I'm switching to 10mg Lexapro once a day. BusPIRone has way less side effects compared to Lexapro and it is making me nervous 😅.
I’m not sure if it is recommended, but I have tried it and had a pleasant experience. It definitely effects me differently on buspirone than it did before, but not negatively. Alcohol does NOT mix well with buspirone and I highly suggest avoiding alcohol
I made a couple videos on my experience, you can find them on my channel! In short, I had a very negative experience with lexapro because my body couldn’t tolerate it; I had random bleeding, mouth ulcers and ended up getting shingles so I had to get off of it
@@vidsbyj123 yikes sorry to hear that. Are you going to try something else besides Buspar? I still get break through anxiety here and there. They want me on Buspar for it. I’m hesitant because of some side effects I’ve read.
I love buspirone. I’ve been on it for 4 months now and I have no side effects, and my anxiety and depression is so much better. I haven’t had a panic attack since starting buspirone, which used to be an every other day occurrence. Everyone is different, but I really think buspirone alone does the trick for me!
@@vidsbyj123I had bleeding issues from lexapro also. I’ll never take it again. I’ve used Buspar and it had way less side effects and helped me overall. Biggest side effects for me was brain zaps but they weren’t too bad and went away after I got adjusted to the med.
