I totally agree with your sentiments, but unfortunately this country has turned into a namby-Pamby state that cares more for criminals “rights” than the victims, the criminals know that they will probably get a telling of and a fine, a fine the can’t or won’t pay (probably both) and “community service” which again they won’t do because they know that here aren’t enough police officers to enforce their sentence, but the liberal minded judges don’t care, they care about not looking bad in the eyes of the multitude of “civil” rights activists, human rights campaigners, prisoner rehabilitation big girls blouses, and every other groups with an agenda that gives the criminals a free reign to do whatever they want. Programmes like this only show the successful use of CCTV, but not the reality that what we really need is more policemen on the streets, judges prepared to actually punish criminals, and prisons that aren’t summer holiday camps. 😡😞👍🇬🇧🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

I don't think the US should train any law enforcement anywhere else. I would get scared shitless if they came & trained ghe police here in finland.. Here people don't get shot, or suffocated by police, just as it should be. When a man started shooting at the police where I live, police was at his house for a welfere check. The cops never fired any bullets back even as bullets flew closely by them,. They took cover & solved it without deadly force & no one was hurt. That would never ever happen in the US.

I genuinely can't believe how stupid this response sounds. When someone says crime is falling, it means that overall reports of crime are falling, the total number of all crimes are falling. It doesn't mean that the reports of every single crime are less. For example. If in 2019 a town had 1000 crimes reported. And 60 were thefts, but the next year there were 800 crimes reported , with 90 thefts. CRIME WOULD STILL BE GOING DOWN OVERALL, even if there is a specific crime now occurring more often.
