Buttons are UI elements that help users take action when being clicked or tapped on. There are several states we can design for the buttons in our interface.
✅ Default - This is the normal state of a button, when it’s not being interacted with.
✅ Hover - This state helps show users that the button can be interacted with. This state will trigger when we move the mouse cursor over the button.
✅ Focus - The way this looks depends on the browser in use. This is especially important for accessibility, for people who use ‘tab’ to navigate a website.
✅ Disabled - This state shows users that the button cannot be interacted with at a specific time.
✅ Active - Can also resemble the look of a pressed button, aimed to show that a button has been interacted with.
✅ Loading - This state triggers when an action has been taken and the system is loading a specific process. It helps show users that something is being done in the background, keeping them informed at all times.
