Thats so cool. Love my 6.0. Funny because you got chomper like the same time i got my cateye, then you get this just a few months after i get my 6.0! Man take care of it and you will love it.
SCT is one of the best tuners for the 6.0 in my opinion. Even with canned tunes. Also the little hook below the cup holders is a “panty” holder. I’ve owned a few 6.0’s. They are one of my all time favorites.
Hell yea nice 6.0 bro cant wait for all the upgrades like front headlights, Markers, Fog, tailights, 3rd Brake light, interior and cluster and ac/heat controls all LED bulbs, upgraded Tow Mirrors with switch backs, tints 5in exhaust its gona be sick!!!!
Ive owned many 6.0s and 7.3s both really great trucks just recently got an lb7 Duramax wanted to try something different for a little while but definitely will ve looking at adding another 6uhoh to the fleet
Im so excited bro is living my dream just getting to own all the cool trucks and modify them how he likes and make money while doing so. So incredibly awe
Noooooo wayyyyyyy. Dude I love this truck!! I used to have one!! I had a egr delete, straight pipe, and a super chip and it ran like a top. Unfortunately it got stolen and it was never found….dam I miss that truck.
Next you should get the most hated F-150 (the 2004 Ford F-150 5.4 Triton) I have a 5.4 and it’s a great truck never had an issue and I work that thing every day it’s also mint condition
Also them gauges on the dash are practically dummy gauges either get pillar gauges or an edge monitor to monitor the exact temps. I fought a crank no start for 2 months but I went thru everything
I can’t wait to see the mods you have in store for this, I’ve always wanted to get one of these and throw some newer 6.7 wheels on it and give it sort of a bubba set up🤤
Check if the bolts connecting the shifter arm and the shift linkage under the dash, behind the steering wheel, are loose. I think the bolts are either T-27 or T-30 torx. As for the 6.0, the main issue is a failure of the oil cooler, then egr cooler failure, which causing coolant to be dumped into the intake, then the head gasket fails. Ideally, you should see if that truck has been "bulletproofed" (updated oil and egr coolers, minimum).
the 06 and 07 were the best years for the 6.0. i had an 07 f250 6.0 cosmetic wise other than a stack it was stock but drivetrain wise it was a built truck mine had 157,965 miles before i sold it. i loved it and i still do and im happy i get to see it about everyday bc i sold it to the neighbor. id love to have it back though
New style lariat stocks and 35 trails, new style mirrors, 05^ single piece headlights. And you know the usual lasfit upgrade! Ugh makes me miss my excursion!
Also with the 6.0s make sure the coolant is halfway between full and empty, any over that it’ll spew with the pressure. I had great luck with mine hopefully the same for you 🤙🏽
I have a 6.0 power stroke in my experience it’s been great only had problems with ball joints it has the stock motor no head studs and it’s almost at 500k miles no problems with the 6.0
