If you are wanting to donate your books, be sure to check with any local hospitals, nursing/assisted living homes, prisons/rehab centers or Free Little Libraries!
Last Christmas I decided to add books to my school food baskets. Going through my shelf I unhauled a total of 24 books (enough to put one book in each advisory basket). My action inspired kids and teachers alike and we were able to put 4 books into each basket. So last year the families who got food also got reading material and were so happy they wrote a letter of thanks to the school. Best unhaul ever! (Even thought I unhauled a third of my book collection.)
@@grey-vb7ox Not saying it doesn't look good on her, but in a video where the main focus is the books the dress should be less important methinks. Also it seems rather... umm shallow? to focus on the dress instead of the books - not trying to insult just stating it in a manner of fact way. There are 3 comments that complement her dress and all are in the top voted. THAT is what I don't understand. Why would comments about what a booktuber wears be more important than say... a comment discussing where the books will go, for instance. I am genuinely mystified. O.o
Nicko Mocanu I don’t think it’s shallow to compliment someone on their good taste. Yes it’s about books, but it’s not like she’s just a vessel from which we get content. I’m a fan of HER, not just her opinions on books. If she is wearing something I think is nice then I’m going to tell her in the comments, just like I would tell someone out in public if I like their outfit.
I never realized how many books you actual had on your shelves. I still remember your selves you had in your old room at your other place. It seems like your collected increased tenfold since then.😮😮
I just recently went through my shelves and I think I was able to unhaul almost 50! Feels so good! However they are currently living in my car until I can figure out who I want to donate them to! Awesome job, Sasha!
I love unhauls so much! I'm a bit sad/surprised by some of the ones you're giving away, but also everyone has different tastes and feelings on books, so I totally understand too. There are so many great places out there that you can donate your books too - hospitals, libraries, schools, etc and maybe you could do some of each! I wish you much luck with your donating adventures (and moving) Sometime soon (hopefully this fall) I'm going to do a big unhaul like this and I'm definitely looking forward to it.
definitely donate to some little free libraries around smaller rural neighborhoods. I have one near me and it is always crowded with young kids and teens
I know it might have taken a long time but I wish you would have said a few words on why your unhauling so and so books, because I can’t tell if it’s because A. you have another copy B. are getting rid of arcs C. you didn’t like the book or D. you don’t plan to read it. It’s just some books I’ve been thinking of reading popped up in this unhaul and I want to know if your getting rid of them because they are no good and therefore I shouldn’t waste my time.
Recently I've had to spend a LOT of time in the hospital with family and found out that they have a bookshelf in the lobby for people that have to stay for long periods so I'm donating my books to them.
Damned. And here I am calling myself a lover of books and book reader. As you flip those dozens to hundreds of books, I wonder how I can be a fast reader like you.
I haven't read Shadow Prince by Bree Despain, but I really enjoyed her Dark Divine series, especially the last book, Savage Grace. Awww... I haven't read Emergency Contact though and it is because of these unhauls that made me curious, and made me buy it. The cover looks beautiful, and hopefully I'll enjoy the cheese that comes in it. I kind of challenged myself to buy a book that I heard or seen not-so nice things about. 😁 I'm currently reading What If It's Us by Becky Albertalli & Adam Silvera. I am enjoying it so far.
I just bought 3 books... even though I had plenty... I have a problem haha. But I just started The Cruel Prince and it sucked me in from page one which rarely happens so I’m hoping I’ll absolutely love it. I could never unhaul books, even the ones I don’t like (cough cough Kissed by an Angel cough cough). It hurts me deeply to get rid of books, idk how you and so many others do it so easily.

I got rid of hundreds of books that I spent years worth of babysitting money on and I regret it so bad. I got so heavily influenced by the minimalism movement and felt guilty for having too many books.
Hello, you are probably not going to see this but I could really use some help. I was obsessed with books since I was a little girl but when I started middle school I dived deep into studying and being perfect as a student up until graduation. 6 years and I have read less than 10 books... I am taking a gap year and I really really want to find my love for books again but I feel so overwhelmed. I have missed so much, so many amazing books I don’t even know about, plus I have little to no money to buy books. Any advice on what to do? 💕💕

Why are you unhauling so many new 2019 releases?!! Like Crown of Feathers. It's a great book. Also why are you unhauling A Discovery Of Witches? I thought you loved that book. Unless you have another copy of it. I have so many questions.
Did you read all of those, or were some of them unread? I don't think I could part with that many books all at once, but over the past year I've donated 50+ books from my personal library, and I have so many books to get through, I'm sure I'll donate 50+ more this year.
I was so mad when you got rid of The Maze Runner books! They are my alltime favorite books ever! I don't know if you have other copies of them (you better) but if not, please don't get rid of them! 😥😥
