[C&C3: Kane's Wrath] MoK Strategy - A True Fanatic Squad Strategy

My Enlightened are always stalling the enemy, but they never have the dps to kill off the opposing forces. To solve that I've devised a master plan, to use Fanatics! Fanatics with tiberium infusion upgrade are quite speedy and as you'll see in this video, complement the Enlightened well. At least in Nod mirrors.

With everything emp’d you can get the perfection detonation, they are a lot like banelings I guess

This strategy originated from the games I experienced my enlightened being crushed by dozer scorps. Fanatics cant be crushed by enemy vehicles and have huge area of effect damage to kill the opposing tanks, while the enlightened locks them down in place. Furthermore, I made bikes to supplement this force against venoms, and the odd tiberium trooper to deal with infantry + slow down enemy forces after the emp wears off. I think in Nod mirrors this has potential against tier 1 spammers. It might help mok against scrin factions as well, I don't know yet.

Hello Masterleaf. It''s really nice to see you coming with more insane stuff to look at. That's why i'm back with suggestion for game from 2010 (Khufu T-59 and Davidcnc BH). Althrough some people say that players didn't played at their best level, it still features 3 times used superweapon, heroic epic unit, one of the biggest air armies ever seen in 1v1 and much more. I wouldn't ask for it that much but, speaking for myself, i'd really like to see this game casted by an expert. Also i belive you said that this kind of video is easy enough for you to pump out, so it shouldn't be that much work for you. But i'd also like to know what is your opinion about this.

Cool strategy , that was awesome . Leaf , you might want to try adding Rocket-Troopers to your .. Enlightened , Tib-Trooper , Fanatics . I think the Anti-Air & extra punch vs Vehicles will be good . Looking forward to more unique Kane's Wrath strategies , regardless of Faction .

I need a lot of fanatics because the moment i run out of them and my opponent is still spamming scorpions, i will get run over by the tanks and lose my enlightened squads. The fanatics streaming in are there to protect my enlightened force

This seems to complement the Enlightened really well, frees them up of the time spent destroying the units they disabled, and as you pointed out, it protects them from getting run over. 16:04 Here's another one for your totally serious balance mod: Tiberium Troopers now turn all infantry they melt into visceroids that you control. Nod has necromancers now. But honestly I'd be interested in seeing what you'd do for a balance mod.

It's a shame they removed visceroids entirely from kanes wrath, they couldve found some way to include them. I guess they were quite annoying to deal with in tib wars.

leaf, a strategy proposition: stealthed engineers. drop a stealth pod off vertigo bomber onto a couple of reckoners, send them sneaky like into enemy base, and start capping worthy structures, or just a bunch of fast leg engies around the stealth pod'd reckoner, then take half the base in a blink of an eye. may that work?

Infusion is a speed buff , enlightened already don’t take tib exposure and cybernetic legs give more speed. I don’t feel it would do anything

I would like to see what changes have you thought of to balance the game. I have my own list and I would like to compare.

I'd use 1.02+ as a baseline, and make changes relative to that, as thats the patch players are most familiar with. I would never reinvent the wheel with the small playerbase that exists, it'll end up making the game worse

@@masterleafcnc I gather thats the safest aproach, the problem is usually how far must the changes reach, and what levels of gameplay should be affected. What can be done at all is important as well, not everything can be solved with numbers tweaking and copy-pasting.

There really shouldn't be a "Meta" in a Balanced RTS, Counter Strats sure, but not Meta's.

I agree, I'm trying to see if I can change that, though in the long term spamming mcvs is still going to be the dominant strategy I reckon

I think this only worked because you played against a player who tried countering it with buggies. Like in that ravager game, if the guy builds 20 venoms instead of 40 buggies, the cyborgs could not have done a thing. With vanilla Nod, even inf spam could block this, due to their Nod Balls upgrade (they only need to land one grenade on the tib trooper and your infantry force is now wiped out).

I agree I believe venims and hammerhead could counter this pretty good But I think it's easier to counter the nod inf spam since at any point you could get your venoms and easily wipe

Venoms are not that good at killing infantry, they have no dps at all without lasers and fall a lot easier than hammerheads. Unlike hammerheads, venoms die to attack bikes as well. This is the main reason I see this as a mirror only strategy

@@masterleafcnc In low numbers true, but he had a ton of buggies with lasers that just got locked down. With the same amount spent on laser venoms, he would've at least cleaned up the infantry, allowing his other forces to actually move.

Generally in a nod mirror venom spam is awful as they get nothing done with bike buggy on the field, so forcing that type of play from my opponent would be interesting, as its not the meta either. It could be that venom spam is the counter, but my opponent would then be quite vulnerable to a bike buggy transition in force.

@@masterleafcnc the point is, they'd at least do damage against the infantry, unlike the buggies which do nothing due to EMP. And the player could then transition to tanks, which would also benefit from lasers. either way, I just feel that sticking to buggies was a mistake in that situation.

Fanatics are all good and well until they have venoms/hammerhead on the field.
