Great new release for the C64 and C128:
Eye of the Beholder
eotb64.com/v1-...
On the C128 you get a very nice additional feature if you have a dual screen setup, a map on the VDC screen output. This video captures both screen outputs, left the VICII, right the VDC output.

If it's on 2 monitors isn't it "the eyes of the beholder" ? 😜

I'm glad you got the 2nd screen with map to work. That was a very long post chain yesterday! I'm running the game on my Easy Flash 3. I have a UII+ but some of the stuff you and Bart were talking about was confusing to me. What was the final reason you think way the map wasn't going to the 2nd screen? I can screen capture one screen with stuff I have. How do you capture both?

My problem in the end was a setting in the RGB2HDMI device I use to convert C128 80 column output to HDMI. That device has a gen-lock setting to lock the device to a specific frame rate to avoid dropped frames when the input source is slightly deviating from exactly being 50 Hz (like with most retros). For some reason which I myself do not fully understand however, that setting caused the EotB VDC screen to completely blank out. Disabling that gen-lock setting solved my issue. Do not ask me why the one works and the other not ;-) What I use for dual screen capture: - RGB2HDMI device for VDC 80 column to HDMI conversion - Framemeister xRGB Mini for VIC-II 40 column to HDMI conversion (using an S-Video cable). Also sometimes use a Retrotink 2X Pro in other setups - The audio output from the S-Video cable is not fed to the Framemeister but to a Behringer Xenyx Q502USB mixer, which outputs the audio signal over USB to my PC - Two times an Elgato CamLink 4K to connect the two HDMI cables to USB on my PC and capture both the HDMI signals - OBS software on the PC to bring both HDMI signals and the audio signal together in one video

Because I had no clue yet how to at that time 😉was merely looking at it from a technology demonstration perspective, still have to find time to really dive into actually playing it.
