I have just recently found you on RU-vid. I have known about the Bigfoot since I was 6 and my grandmother began to teach me about them. I am now 74. It definitely sounds like what they do.I would be happy to talk with you if you like. I am so enjoying your videos. Something I wanted to do when I was younger. Thank you for sharing your journey. trail cams around the cabin will help identify what "creature" is coming around. Have a horn or mega- phone handy; the louder you are will lessen the presence of things coming near your home. The megaphone is extremely loud and will not only alarm whatever it is but will make you more scary to whatever is stalking the area.
@AloneinRemoteAlaska

Around the cabin (or on the cabin) will be security cameras. Just past the tree line I will put many trail cams too. I don't have a mega phone but I do have air horns around the cabin. There is nothing more terrifying than "accidentally" activating the air horn in the absolute silence of my property. About gave me a heart attack! :-)

It sounds like you have maybe a juvenile big foot bugging you. Lol but if you put some apples or food of something like that you maybe able to get foot sprints or a pic on a trial camera. We do know a big foot thsts very aware will spot a camera and avoid it but you could get lucky. My friend in Colorsdo got a pic of the eyes snd brow ridge up close on his trial camera. He said he’s had them out gif so long thst this one was like ok here I am. What you gonna do about it? But it’s a super upclose pic. It’s just the eyes and the brow ridge. Then there’s another of it walking away a hood distance. So it availed the camera for another good pic. He posts his really good info in a private video page on his channel. He doesn’t want any crazies stomping around. He’s been getting a pic here of there for years. So this Sasquatch family is use to him. They don’t touch his motor home or anything cause he’s in the flat part if the ranch he lives in in a brand new motor home he just bought 2 yrs ago. The mountains are about 1 mile away from where he’s parked it. He has lived on this ranch for about 20 yrs or so.

Embrace the eery sounds of Alaska. Snow coming off trees in the woods, off your roof, trees cracking and popping due to heat changes, etc. are likely your problem. Noticed you have an oil tank, and the metal in the oil tanks pop and makes loud clanging noises. The loud bird at night that can sound like many other animals is the OWL. Owls don't just "hoot". Don't freak yourself out; the sounds are natural. As to the "footprint", it likely is not a single foot print, but a hunkered down animal - like a hare or something else. Don't let the "Bigfoot" tales worry you. I've lived in AK for 40 years.
@AloneinRemoteAlaska
@AloneinRemoteAlaska 2 года назад
Hello there fellow Alaskan! I hear you! So far I have been able to explain many of the sounds I have heard. Some thanks to my viewers. I think the natural causes of the noises is far more interesting. I don't ever immediately assume a strange noise is supernatural. I have to see it to believe it! Mother nature has her magic that is real. I definitely have horned owls on my property! The owls actually make me feel safe. Tracks in winter are most likely distorted from wind, melt or additional snowfall. But I have see bear tracks recently. Thank you Eve! :-)

They are not tales, just bcuz you haven't seen one doesn't mean they don't exist. In fact the state of Ohio is the only state 2 truly acknowledge their presence. The DNR (Department of Natural Resources) of Ohio has put out a whole series of videos talking about these creatures bcuz Of the large population of them in that state & in all their State Parks, etc.

Ok, your story is intriguing., i live deep in the woods in Emida Idaho. Seen very stange explosions of light that take place and have seen on three different ocasions orbs of light at the forest line. My property was logged 25 years ago. Have seen the tall grass move as if something was walking through it but nothing there. Have seen branches of trees bend like something is pulling on them but nothing is there. I dont worry about it i am aware of it. Something other than humans share our planet.

Well that sent some chills down my spine! I believe that the further you get from the “distractions” of city life, the more you “see”. Doesn’t have to be paranormal activity just because it cant be explained. Like I am just so amazed at how much wildlife surrounds me and that creates sounds I have never heard before! Have I seen orbs? oh yeah! I don’t have tall grasses but I can see into the forest and even on a still night, its moving. Mother Nature is real. More so out here! 😁

When you live remotely with that much snow, you need to plow it after every 4 to 6 inch snow fall. His plow was barely adequate in that much snow. Winter is more bearable and a heck of a lot safer in event of a fire or medical emergency for human or pet. Things to set up for next winter. Enjoy spring! Soon, I hope?

A friend and I were hiking in a designated Wilderness in northern California one late winter when we came across very fresh Bigfoot tracks in the snow. Absolutely no doubt about what we saw. We were a couple miles from any designated trail. I'm pretty sure you have one. Everything you describe with the noises is consistent with what I've heard elsewhere. I think you're blessed.

I know that many believe in Big Foot but it seems to be somewhat divided on if it’s an aggressive or passive animal. I think it’s neither (or both.) Bears are rarely aggressive and rarely passive. They just do their thing to survive. Big Foot would have to be the same. Maybe there is one (or more) in my area and if so, there isn’t really anything I can do about it. If a big foot is simply throwing pine cones and toppling wood being tricksters then they better never hope I find their cabin! 😉

Your experiences certainly point to the presence of sasquatch on your property. The fact that your cabin was vacant for many years prior to your arrival is what convinced me. Whatever you do, I would not acknowledge them since their current behavior seems to be harmless. Acknowledging them may indicate that the "game" is on. A Sasquatch has been know to imitate Owls, Crows, Ravens, Dogs, even People and just about any other sound. They like to be left alone and will let you know they are around. Leave a bag of apples as a piece offering and recognition that you mean them no harm.

Leaving food is not a good idea. Offerings of tobacco and sweet grass are safer. Trinkets, crystals, or interesting items are often traded. Find a stump or rock and leave an item. Steve at How to Hunt on You Tube reads emails sent in about encounters and sightings. He has useful videos especially the ones sent in from “The Owl Man”. Wes at Sasquatch Chronicles has a soft, kind touch with the many interviews he conducts. Nanc at Buckeye Bigfoot has a lovely voice for narrating emails and stories. There are literally thousands of reported sightings between these two men and Nance. Orbs are a very common occurrence with Sasquatch activity. BTW, avoid shooting them if possible, you probably won’t take it down. And his buddy in the trees won’t be happy. I’m new, love your vids, great information, awesome lifestyle.

There are plants known to produce strong smells. Including the western skunk cabbage which is found in Alaska. Decomposing vegetation can also cause strong odors as well. A few trail cams places at key points can help answer some of your questions. Even the chimney chime might be answered with a trail cam. If all else fails just consider it paranormal activity's and go on about your day😁. Good to hear from you again stay safe!

I have had them on 2 different properties in 2 different states since 2014. While the sounds you hear are different from where I live, these creatures are deeply tied to a routine. I hear the same type stuff around the same time every night. Also, they owl called to eachother around my house in Arkansas, here in Oklahoma they dont. But me calling to the woods when I bought the okla house is what got them to take notice of me. Once they know that you know about them, it's on. They enjoy when you just sit outside and talk towards the woods to them. I sing to them a lot when I'm outside doing chores. They seem to like that too. A single stick break is from what I gather to mean, hey we're here. Congratulations on your adventures and stay safe and warm!

As for the footprints, You could have a bear walking around and the reason I say that is I watched a lot of hunting shows about bears and when a bear steps with the front foot and the backfoot comes up they tend to sometimes overload sometimes overlap making the print look in the print look more human like and there are a lot of times that the calls do not go into the dirt so it might look like a human footprint. And then my other side of the brain says you might have a sasquatch. I do not know exactly where you are located in Alaska but there is a thing called the Alaskan triangle where a lot of mysterious things happen.
@AloneinRemoteAlaska

You're forgetting about the claws in the pictures there's no claw marks. When a bear steps it claws hook the ground and make claw indentation and not a one picture shows claw marks in the mud or dirt. Not a bear I've hunted bear not a bear track.

I have been watching your videos and have followed your move to your remote property in Alaska. You are one brave woman. Excellent informative videos too 👌👏 With the sounds, try not to investigate too much! Imagination goes on overdrive 😳. I live alone and even in suburbia, the houses I’ve lived in, I hear strange noises that wake me up in the middle of the night. I put on “white noise” and immediately fall asleep. Your mind is your strongest protection. Telepathically say you respect it’s space and it needs to respect yours. Your home seems secure. That’s the main thing when living alone. You seem to be well prepared for any probabilities. I love my own company but I don’t think I could handle wearing a gun! Terrified of it. What is the meaning of Kenai? He is your guardian Angel. Keep safe and God bless, from Downunder (Sydney, Australia).
@AloneinRemoteAlaska
@AloneinRemoteAlaska 2 года назад
The various sounds I hear are numerous! I live in complete silence so I hear everything. No noise pollution except an occasional bush plane or distant chainsaw. It’s so quiet that I can hear the rushing roar of the river miles away. The noises never scare me. If its a row or raven making the noise fine. If it’s Big Foot or Alaskan Little people that’s fine too.😉 Besides the moose sightings or once the wolves start running through, I have never felt the need to run and hide. I just respect their space. And still go inside for a spell. 😁 I think, Bernadette, that if you lived out here, you might be terrified of not wearing a gun or at least some sort or protection. Kenai got his name because of my fascination with Alaska. It’s the name of a peninsula, a river and a town in Alaska. He is my guardian and my friend. It’s so cool to have viewers from around the world! Welcome from Australia! 😁

Leave an apple up about 8 feet off the ground for the Forest People known as Sasquatch. If you make friends you will not be bothered. All the sounds, smells, footprints indicate hairy neighbors. They are curious about you also but know you are female and by yourself so they aren’t getting aggressive with you. They can mimic sounds of other animals. Looks like they are trying to make you curious enough to start asking questions. You have the potential to have a wonderful adventure that will expand your thinking, And will help potentially if you get in trouble. Practice your telepathy as that is how they communicate, called mind speak. Everybody can do it. It’s just that most believe they can’t so, don’t.Been there myself on a walk through Yosemite back country for about a 40 minute exchange as I was walking. The squatch saved my life from drowning in a deep forest pool later that same day. But I never saw it. They can phase out of our human site so as to not scare us. (As if that really would help?). They have a sense of humor and can retaliate in the same way. You leave them gifts they will leave their kinds of gifts. Keep us informed. No need for me to say be brave, you’ve already shown you’re brave. I applaud you for your change in lifestyle. I’m envious!
@AloneinRemoteAlaska
@AloneinRemoteAlaska 2 года назад
If a Sasquatch is on my property, I have to believe they are friendly. Or this cabin would have been abandoned. I hear what you are saying and will pay attention! During my research I have heard stories of Sasquatch saving lives if you are nice to them and retaliating if you are aggressive. I believe in “mind speak” though. I do it with Kenai all the time. If they have a sense of humor, then we will get along fine! Maybe have a snowball fight someday! And if they like throwing rocks at my cabin just wait until I find theirs! LOL! Great advise Sarensusan! Thank you so much! :-)

Well thank you so much MK! I am very happy you "enjoyed" the video but maybe not so much the comments! LOL :-) I made the video with no intentions of suggesting Sasquatch. Just noises and weird things that happen. Your mind does wander though. I mean you are way out here and you see or hear something so what could it possibly be? So far most everything has been explained (animal, weather, mother nature) but not everything. Kenai is a huge dog and I do have plenty of firepower if it came to that. But IF there was a Sasquatch I would rather live next to them than be at a constant war with them. I have not spoken to any locals about the weirdness yet. I can tell you that I do see orbs in the tree line. Just light orbs. One color. appear and disappear and floating around. Nothing scary but no clue what it could be. We don't have fireflies in Alaska and this is usually dead of winter time anyway. Thank you so much MK! Hope to see you in the comments again! :-)

In old legends, they say a sound you hear at a repeated time every night may mean that the ghost of a crime is being memorialized, because it occurred in the past at that time. But I think your chimney ping is likely the sound of a bird landing on his favorite roost. When I was a little girl, there was a small window next to my bed and I could look out and see the roof. More than once I looked out and saw an enormous owl or hawk sitting there, surveying the neighborhood and waiting for his evening meal to wander by. It's likely your home attracts some rodents so the owls like to visit.

Hello from Australia! I’ve just discovered your channel & am thoroughly enjoying your videos, you’re an inspiration!! It’s so beautiful where you live(a place I’ve always wanted to visit) & I completely understand why you’re there in amongst the raw unspoiled nature, warts & all. I too am a female living alone in the forest & have been for the last 30+ years & absolutely love it!!Though there have been experiences in that time which haven’t been easy & at times even frightening, especially the earlier years, but it’s all part n parcel of living alone as one with nature & all its elements. Even though I’m self sufficient, the one thing I can’t live without are my dogs. I’ve always had at least 2 German shepherds on the property at any one time, they are my eyes & ears, I always know exactly what’s going on around me, they see & hear before we ever can & really are the best alarm systems! I hope you don’t mind me saying, If I was in your shoes I would definitely get at least one other large size dog. It’s about safety in numbers, having more than one dog provides extra protection, comfort & balance of security, not only for us & the large area surrounding the home, but for themselves too. Also predators do find it difficult to focus on 2 or more dogs at the same time(too much trouble so they tend to eventually go away). Keep up the great work, stay safe & I look forward to watching your future videos. By the way I could be wrong, but I think you have a Bigfoot visiting your place.,If I remember reading correctly, they don’t like dogs🙂

Starring into the tree line or sniffing the air. I keep alert when he does. I would like to get more dogs but Kenai wont have that. The next round will be 3 German shepherds though! Or at least 3 big dogs. I agree the numbers play in their favor whether its a Bigfoot, a 4 legged creature or a 2 legged creature! You are already living the dream Anne! I don't go looking for Big Foot but out here where I am, I just know something will be sighted that can't be explained otherwise. Trees shrink in the cold causes cracking noises. That might be a wolverine track. Dog could have smelt wolfs. No answer on chimney gong. Glad you could get out. Nice that your contractor plowed you out. Bet that landing on your roof and dog bark was a owl. Once a person talks them into what they saw or heard its hard to convince its something else. That recording sounds like a eagle maybe. Or crow.

Yeah I think I’m too “green” to be concrete about my opinions yet! I’m sure one day I will be that gal that’s been here forever that will have stories to tell anyone willing to listen! 🤣 I do have wolves around but Kenai has never been too bothered by them. It was kind of nice to get mail finally! I did make the contractor and his helper a nice steak dinner and allowed them to use firewood from my left over 4 cords to heat up the ice cold bunk house to sleep in though! 🤣 They were concerned that I was trapped in my cabin and it was very nice of them to plow the driveway finally! I figure it could really only be an owl on the roof too. I do have horned owls on the property! 😁

Go to "How to Hunt" on YT. Steve reads out peoples experiences with Sabe (Big Foot), what you are describing fits other peoples experiences exactly. I am sure he would be of help to you and how to deal with it. They do not like lights and can detect cameras no matter how you hide them. They can see infra red apparently. Listen to your dog, he will warn you when one is around. Steve or Scott Carpenter will both advise you. You do know what is causing these things, you are wary about wanting to admit it in case of ridicule, more people than you realise is experiencing these same things, you are not alone.

I think I would consider myself a skeptic believer. I am a "must see it to believe it" person but will not dismiss that something could exist. I have been watching a few channels (including How To Hunt, Buckeye Bigfoot and Survivorman) What they say definitely sounds similar to what I experienced. But is what they say so similar to what I experienced because it could just be natural? You see where I am going? I can say, IF I see one, I will always assume they are not dangerous. With so many people going into the forests these days, there would be so many people disappearing. Thank you! :-)

Sasquatch!!!!! The only thing that has actually made Buttercup tuck her tail and run is a cougar (not sure you have those in Alaska?)... or maybe a wolf passed by earlier and his scent was left? The smell of bears and deer make Buttercup curious, she won't proceed after smelling them, but she doesn't run. That night sound sounded like a dog barking... Lovin' that hat :)

When Kenai tucked his tail and went back inside I knew it had to be something like a wolf (or a Sasquatch!!) 🤣I closed the door, kept an eye on the tree line then cuddled with Kenai until he was ok. Which was like 30 seconds! He definitely loves to see the moose though! Jury is still out for me on the noise. Leaning towards fox since I have watched some videos since. OMG that is my favorite hat! First, you might find a chest holster more comfortable when doing physical labor. Second, the foot print could be the rear foot of a brown bear. Unless the foot print is in nice damp silty sand, the foot print can be easily distorted and look weird. (bigfoot is always an option). Third, as for the smell, you might have a fox den nearby, fox can have a very pungent odor. Fourth, the sound from the earthquake is the sound wave traveling through the ground under you. Fifth, the bird sound, could be any number of animals. I have no idea on your chimney sound, since it is time related. You should watch and see if you are doing something before that sound happens. Could be as simple as opening a door or window thus changing the air pressure going up the stack.
@AloneinRemoteAlaska
@AloneinRemoteAlaska 2 года назад
I have considered a chest holster just to make sure I have multiple ways of carrying for any situation. Nothing more annoying than having to put my gun in my pocket! The footprints to be honest are fun. I have been outside and have seen some really strange animal tracks and then before I can get back to film it, something else ran through it. 🤨 I may have fox nearby actually but I have not heard them. I have seen fox dens in Colorado and it was so cool to hear them waking up. The very strange yapping noises they did was unique. So I wont lie here, every time I go outside to see if anything is dropping or throwing something, the sound wont happen that day. Even if I just look out the window at that time, the sound wont happen. I mean I don’t find pinecones or rocks indented in the snow on the roof either. So unless something is throwing snowballs …… 🤔
