I prefer a full plenum divider with a bigger carburetor that uses high gain boosters. I almost can't get the Quadrajet big enough. I have not tried this on a Cadillac (yet), but on some other similar cubic inch engines I love the results. Thanks for the video.
I gotta go back and see how much weight I lost when cast iron heads, iron intake, copper radiator, air pollution pump, exhaust manifolds and steel wheels were replaced.
,,,,,,Back in dee day I hated that big 6 cyl a/c comp......I used the radial comp and all the hardware from a 1978 425 eng to clean up my engine .....@@scotthatch4548
Holy Cow! You have some excellent insights, indeed. I am starting on a Jeep project and am seeking knowledge on the AMC GenIII series (304,360,401). Are you knowledgeable about what to look for in that engine series?
First question is why ? And basically with that transmission the axle bolts to the engine and the pan is special to clear the axle and front mount that holds the whole engine and transmission assembly in place mounts to the Cadillac block .... The answer is no ... Certainly not without a lot of fabrication and work
